Having received the sudden sad news of the death of a large number of people as a result of a large-scale terrorist attack in the Moscow region, on behalf of the Government and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, as well as on my own behalf, I express to you and in your person the Government and people of your country, the families of the victims and to the victims, deep condolences and words of consolation.

The position of the Government of our Republic, directed against any form of terrorism, remains unchanged – nothing can justify an inhumane terrorist act that threatens human lives.

Our people perceive the grief and sorrow that the friendly Russian people have faced as their own pain and express strong support and solidarity for the just cause of your people, aimed at protecting the sovereignty and security of the country, ensuring stability and socio-political cohesion led by you.
