Thinking from Korolov, Russia

Thinking they are necessary and useful. I like to do them over a cup of coffee and express what those thinking’s are about, be they about Putin, Russia and or America. So lets do some thinking today, it is Friday the 21st of June, 2013…

I was getting ready to do an article about the 35th Annual International Film Fest in Moscow. It started Thursday and then as I started the article. I came upon the fact that the main film, the opening film, the film of “numero uno” importance was World War Z with Brad Pitts. That put a brake on that article and while I am glad that we have the International Film Fest and I hope Sveta and I go as we always do…

World War Z is far from a work of art and Brad Pitt is far from an actor and people, Hollywood is far from an institute for the arts and artists. Other words they just screwed up a great International Film Fest with Hollywood trash. They have done this in the past and this is too much…

Thinking that is enough of that:

Lets talk about:

Gay adoptions! Thank goodness that Russia has put an end to Gay adoptions by the rest of the world. Russians have no desire to see abandoned children adopted by outside people much less by the LGBT’s of the world. This is a real issue and Russians have very strong feelings about this subject. I know that a brained washed western world has no ability to see what the Russians see and for that fact, much of the east see’s, but the west will have to live with their inabilities to comprehend a world with out overflowing governmental abuse. I feel sorry for the western world – no morals left to even comprehend…

Lets talk about:

Human Trafficking – WASHINGTON — The U.S. accused China and Russia of failing to meet minimum standards in fighting human trafficking, ranking them on a par with North Korea and Syria…

LOLOLOLOLOLOL Haaaaaaaaaaa and whaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaa….

thinkingYou are kidding me right! The US accuses who of what? The USA is king of Human Trafficking, be it sexual or work forced. It is one of the most serious issues I have ever seen and ranks right up there with, child abduction and child trafficking. It is everywhere, just open your eyes and walk the city streets at night and peer into a basement window. Oops – it is too dangerous to walk the city streets at night in America…

Sorry – But that still does not mean (that just because you are too scared to see what is happening, that the millions of illegals that are held in America with passports withheld as collateral,) it is not true. It is the opposite – it is a huge business in the US…

I am going to (try to) end my thinking right there. I am laughing way too much and this is not a funny situation. The problem in America is huge and yet they forgot to look in the mirror as they accuse the rest of the world for what they accelerate in as a country herself…

I still can not believe that we as a country point fingers at other countries: Why I had a home down the street when I lived in Covington, Kentucky and it had 28 Mexicans who all lived in this little home. They produced knockoffs in T-shirts and sweat pants. I got some good deals there and am still wearing some of the T-shirts. It was a gang of Mexicans, who brought Mexicans into America and they held their passports for 5 years as they worked for them and worked off their debts. (Plus a little pimping on the side!) The debt to come to the land of the free and the home of the brave… ( I will not even mention the sexual human trafficking going on at an even higher pace than you can comprehend…) Remember even amongst scum the lines are drawn and sexual human trafficking is considered taboo except by the lowest of scum…

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL… I mean seriously, “Debt to come to the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!” LOLOLOLOLOL. Do some looking and thinking…

The cops did not care, they were paid their funny money to look the other way and turning them (Sweat shops) in meant a death sentence by either a cop or a Mexican. Besides these people, men or women, knew what they were getting into. I talked to them (illegals) many times. They all said it was worth it to work off your debt and become a citizen with paper work in full as they graduated in 5 years. Thinking back, I realized that it was a rampant issue in Cincinnati, Ohio and we who lived across the river were just seeing the overflow from the big city…

But hey it is not funny that we as a Country ignore this issue and point fingers at other countries for what we excel in above those countries… 🙁

My thinking says: “Look in the Mirror.” Grow up America and get your own house in order before you point fingers…

Yandex on the Rise…

Yandex is a company that is taking the world by storm and doing it in a way that no one has noticed the storm as it develops. That storm is huge and Yandex is going to be big. Bigger than we all comprehend, as it will one day take on Google…

I will give one link for English speakers like me and this link will lead you to all that I am talking about for the next few paragraphs: http://www.yandex.com/

yandexI use Yandex search, RSS, browser, mail, images, video, translate and soon will use their new Islands technologies that they are developing. Yandex also is developing a social network system and that I will move to as soon as it is running smoothly. Facebook has tried to crush this new kid on the block and Yandex has had to start back again at the drawing board to redevelop their social network…

With the last straw having been broken by Google over the Google Reader and its demise on July 1st, 2013. I made sure that I found a replacement for everything Google and literally Yandex covered all the bases. The dropping of the Google Reader was the last straw for me, I used the Reader as a tool and that tool has not been the first tool of Google’s that has been sent to the dust bin. I have learned that Google is unreliable in many things and has grown to large to remember all of us who made Google what she is now. Yes the people of the world use Google and the people of the world can not use Google and that is what I chose to do. Drop Google…

I also found a surprise in their (Yandex) Browser and it looks to be a variation on the Chrome Browser. It is fast and just plain works, it just needs some more plugins and it will soon rival the big boys…

So maybe it is time to try the upcoming kid on the block. I have and it is worth watching the growing pains. Yandex has a smart bunch of developers backer her and like everything else in the world. Top Dogs always fall and little dogs who watch and eat their vitamins, get a chance to try their luck…

Yandex is watching and waiting and growing as you ignore it…

Russian Advanced Weapons for Syria

Unrevealed Secrets of Vladimir Putin’s Recent Visit to London: by Dam-Press. (Translated from the Arabic)

During his recent visit to London and meeting with British Prime Minister Cameron, President Putin passed on a message to the US and France in response to their recent announcement that they will arm the [Al Nusrah] fighters in Syria.

As Russia is a sovereign nation dealing with the sovereign, legitimate government of Syria, some new arms which have never left Russia before [never previously deployed in Syria] will be delivered to the Syrian military.

The Patriot Missiles will be hit and repealed with S 300 SAM [already installed in Syria]. Putin also threatened to deliver the more advanced S400 anti-aircraft missiles far superior to the Patriot missiles and ranked as the World’s most advanced air defense system.

syriaHe added that Russia will also supply Syria with state-of –the-art 24-Barrell rocket launchers which have a range of 60 km ranked as the most developed artillery weapon of its kind.

He added that Russia will supply 400 of these launchers which will be able to destroy all targets around Syria’s borders.

A British intelligence report stated that Putin went to London bringing his own Russian cooked food and did not consume anything from Britain including water as he even brought his own water with him reportedly because he had concerns of being poisoned.

The British intelligence site stated that Putin threatened to send other secret Russian made weapons to Syria which would tip the balance of power even further in favor of Syria and re-iterated that these weapons will not be used against Israel on condition that Israel will not participate in the war within Syria and neighboring countries. {Lebanon, Jordan]

Reportedly, the British PM’s response was very weak in relation to Putin’s threats.

Putin’s response came just over 24 hours after Obama’s statement on Saturday that he was going to arm the Syrian resistance.

Putin clearly stated that the Middle East is going to witness a significant change. Syria will be armed with weapons that have never been seen before [in the Middle East] including computer guided smart missiles that never miss their target.

He also added that Russia will supply Syria with Skean 5 ground -to-sea missiles that are capable of hitting and sinking any target up to 250 km off the Syrian coast.

Putin does not bluff and the red line is Syria and has been drawn…

I found this article interesting…

Western Apologists…

Western Apologist: A person who argues in defense or justification of the Western Empire, even if it means they defend the murder, lies and moral decay – to stand up for the west…

This was my thinking’s over a fantastic cup of coffee this morning and now that I am writing it down, I will get another cup of coffee… 🙂

I was amazed at the fire control yesterday, by all the western apologists. The showdown in the G8 was expected and the Calvary of trolls were out to defend the dying Empire. Putin did not get the message (about doing what he is told) and he stood toe to toe with the 7 leaders from the west and he walked away with his head up…

Putin thinking about G8 stupidity...
Putin thinking about G8 stupidity…

That is what the damage control was all about. It was obvious that Putin would not play the game that the others are playing and in the aftermath, we found that several of the western countries agree with Putin about Syria and three western leaders in particular have egg on their face: Cameron and Obama and Harper…

I saw a Facebook full of trolls and they pounced on people who would question the west and support Russia. I saw something else, I was amazed out how many trolls are allowed to be friends of people all over Facebook. These people do not even look and study who they have as friends and the trolls realize that. The trolls infiltrate and attack when needed…

I was internet attacked and my e-mail box was full of death threats and hate. The western apologist came out in full force to defend the western world.  Today I refuse to deal with any of them and they are leaving comments to try to stir and push buttons on those sensitive subjects. Why even the DHS decided to pay a visit and used 6 computer stations located around the US and tried to take me offline. Bless their hearts, I thought that they had given up on me…

My Business is None of Your Business!

businessMy Business: No matter if on the Metro, bus, car, walking or flying. My business is none of your business and that is the Russian way. I shrug my shoulders and total understand that way of thinking. I guess that is why it is easy for me to survive in Russia; “My business is none of your business!”

Unless I allow it to be your business. That I do through the websites and if you do not like it! Leave…

I was raised in America and I was raised to interfere. My government has always told me to watch for trouble. Report that trouble and stay out of trouble. The fact is that while we have always had a crappy government, our crappy government has become a out of control monolith. But forget that, we are talking about Russia and “My Business is None of Your Business!”

A wonderful thing about Russia is this business stuff or lack of business interference. I walk the city constantly. Boza and I watch people and their actions. No – I do not mind my own business (I am an American you know?) and thence I watch all around me. People hardly ever realize that I watch them. They are way into that, “My business is none of your business!” So they never look up and see who is watching them. This is normal. No smiles, no stares back, no cares, no desires, no wondering and no asking, “What’s Up?”

Now there are Russians who notice everything and these Russians are called Babushkas (Grandmas). They know everything going on, see everything going on, hear everything going on and will take care of everything going on. I really think that Russian women are this way from birth, but  they do not allow this genetic trait to come out until they are Babushkas, then they use all that watching and sticking their nose into others business to good use. They run the country…

Now since I am off the subject a little bit, I will expound father. Russian women rule the roost at home and that is that. Men do not stand a chance and this is very prominent all over the CIS countries. It seems to be a natural evolution as the women in Russia get older, they take on more territory to rule, until they cover the whole country… 🙂

Now you may be asking, “What this is babbling all about?”

Good question: My Business is None of Your Business!

It is a real reason why America, the west and NATO have no ability to understand Russia and China for that fact. This side of the world is China’s and Russia’s issue and if anyone should be at odds over what is happening in countries like Libya and Syria. It should be Russia and China as they try to jostle their backyards and playgrounds. Russians do not understand why a country would much less want to be half way around the world and cause issues of death and destruction…

But the bully factor is at play with the west (That is another story though!) and interference is wrought with pain…

It is sad as I realize that the USA has become the biggest, baddest, meanest, toughest, bulliest and most murderous Babushka on earth. I guess I missed a whole bunch of the growth of America, as it is really a young country and for it to be such a hateful and spiteful young country, is scary…

I guess America grew up too fast and now we want to destroy the world as we crumble into the grave we dug…

For you see there are much older Babushkas in the world and they have been around much longer than America. America is still a baby at all this and by trying to grow up too fast and trying to take over the world. It will just come back 20 fold and hurt all the more…

Syria is as Russia sees it: “My Business is None of Your Business!”

JP Morgan’s Man in the White House: Barack Obama’s Legacy of Ashes by John Stanton…

At one time, it seems decades ago now, the general thinking in the USA was that President Barack Obama would jolt the American political system into actually doing something beneficial for its citizens rather than spying on them, building F-35 aircraft, upgrading nuclear weapons, spending trillions of dollars (US) on national security, cutting unemployment benefits/food stamps, fomenting war with Iran, Syria, China and Russia; and dragging out the war in Afghanistan.

It is a damn shame!! Why? Why?

Sadly, Barack Obama’s legacy will be one of ashes. The destruction of America’s social fabric; the implementation of a surveillance corporate-state; assassination and negation of Habeas; and a perpetual state of emergency/war economy will come to dominate the historical narrative on the Obama presidency. President Obama will also go down in US history as the American President who paved the way for the financial industry to dismantle Social Security. With the Executive Powers he has accrued and newly created, future American President’s will, by fiat, be able to sell off national park lands and other US assets, even the nation’s artwork: citizens of Detroit, Michigan and Greece, Eurozone, are undergoing the pillaging now (see below Greece Memo, Detroit Creditors).

JP Morgan provides the rationale: Constitutions, like many in Europe and the USA in the post-industrial era, are too “socialist” and written at a time when dictatorships flourished. JP Morgan believes that should change for the sake of capital flows (see below: JP Morgan Halfway There).

The US Homeland is in serious need of repair. And it is not just the physical infrastructure that Americans take for granted that needs fixing: roads, runways, sewage systems, water, electricity and the like—it is also the American consciousness both individual and collective that requires revision and regeneration. There’s no time for time for nostalgic looks to past days. The good old days were nothing of the sort as the US elite inflicted some pretty severe damage to the American psyche. Just think of legalized racism/segregation and the Vietnam War. Then there were the alterations, whether by groups or individuals, that literally changed the course of US history: the killings of JF Kennedy, ML King, RF Kennedy, Medgar Evers and Malcolm X. Like them or hate them, America has never produced any dynamic leader(s) since that can match their individual and collective standards. And each one of them was “American” to the core.

Better in 2013 than 1963: But Protests, Malcolm X Apply

That said, Americans would do well to look to the protests of the 1960’s and early 1970’s that would ultimately bring out millions from all levels of society to make their collective voices heard to end a senseless war (Vietnam), stop mindless discrimination (women, minorities), and strike for better wages/benefits (US Postal strike in 1970—Nixon use of executive power controversial).

The time for listening to the blatherskites that hold power has passed.

“The people in power have abused and it is time for a change,” said Malcolm X in a blistering oratory, quoting Shakespeare’s Hamlet at the Oxford Debate Union in 1964. “If you sit around waiting for those in power to change things, you will be waiting for a long time. In my opinion the young generation of Whites, Blacks, Browns–and whatever else there is—are living in a time of extremism, a time of revolution…And there has to be a change…A better world needs to be built and the only way that is going to happen is by extreme methods…I will join with anyone, I don’t care what color you are as long as you want to change the miserable condition that exists on this Earth.”

That “miserable condition” will return with vengeance absent opposition from the multitudes.

The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse have arrived: Democrats, Republicans, Liberals and Conservatives are riding roughshod over Americans young and old. They are trampling, with impunity, the US Constitution, Bill of Rights and the ideals within the Declaration of Independence. Their ideologies blind them from seeing the damage they are doing. They speak only to each other through the mainstream media/websites and not to the American people. The citizens of the USA are little more than a compliant audience.

Americans need to respond to this by asking and answering some key questions. How much more low intensity conflict? How many civilian and military suicides are tolerable? How many more mass shootings at home? How many more vapid statements from politicians and military leaders? How many more school closings, furloughs, layoffs? How many more cities like Detroit left to the Hedge Fund and JP Morgan vultures? How much more intrusion by the American corporate-state (one dare not use the “F” word) into the lives of US citizens and millions more around the globe? How many more “big lies” on the economy and security? How much longer is the Cold War going to last (pivot to Asia and missile defense systems ringing Russia/China)? Why so much child poverty which sees Save the Children so active in America?

And just what does it mean to be an American citizen? Is Rahm Emanuel, the current Mayor of Chicago, Illinois, a good example? The same Rahm Emanuel that chose to volunteer with the Israeli Defense Forces during the 1991 Gulf War instead of with the US Army? What about those USA corporate citizens who pay no taxes and offshore jobs?

So what’s the game plan for your struggling city, town, state or region?

How useful would a program like the National Security Agency’s PRISM, or TRAPWIRE, be in rounding up those protesting in the USA against austerity, asset sales, pension robbing, child poverty and unemployment?

JP Morgan: The Euro area adjustment–About Halfway There (28 May 2013)

“At the start of the crisis, it was generally assumed that the national legacy problems were economic in nature. But, as the crisis has evolved, it has become apparent that there are deep seated political problems in the periphery, which, in our view, need to change if EMU [Eurozone] is going to function properly in the long run. The political systems in the periphery were established in the aftermath of dictatorship, and were defined by that experience. Constitutions tend to show a strong socialist influence, reflecting the political strength that left wing parties gained after the defeat of fascism. Political systems around the periphery typically display several of the following features: weak executives; weak central states relative to regions; constitutional protection of labor rights; consensus building systems which foster political clientalism; and the right to protest if unwelcome changes are made to the political status quo.

The shortcomings of this political legacy have been revealed by the crisis. Countries around the periphery have only been partially successful in producing fiscal and economic reform agendas, with governments constrained by constitutions (Portugal), powerful regions (Spain), and the rise of populist parties (Italy and Greece). There is a growing recognition of the extent of this problem, both in the core and in the periphery. Change is beginning to take place. Spain took steps to address some of the contradictions of the post-Franco settlement with last year’s legislation enabling closer fiscal oversight of the regions. But, outside Spain little has happened thus far…the process of political reform has barely begun.”

Citigroup–Revisiting Plutonomy: The Rich Getting Richer March 2006

“The data shows that the gap in incomes and wealth between the rich and the poor in the US shows no signs of significant change, and that the richest 10 and 20% of Americans continue to earn disproportionately high chunks of national income, and own an even higher share of the national wealth…While the average consumer might not be feeling great, the important consumers – the richest 20%, who account, as we’ve shown, for 58% of income – are in good shape…Finally, the dollar. The perma-bears told us that the current account deficit in the US was too high. It could only be lowered by raising the savings rate of the household sector which in turn would only be accomplished by rising interest rates and/or a dollar collapse. We disagree. To us plutonomists, the current account deficit is largely a function of the savings…rate, which is a function of the propensity to save by the rich. As we highlighted above, they are rationally consuming out of their stock of wealth (which incidentally, keeps going up) as well as from their incomes. To them, dollar devaluations are a mild inconvenience, but not a reason to change their spending and dis-savings habits…”

Memorandum of Understanding on Specific Economic Policy Conditionality between Greece and Financiers (9 February 2012)

“The Government [of Greece] will neither propose nor implement measures which may infringe the rules on the free movement of capital. Neither the State nor other public bodies will conclude shareholder agreements with the intention or effect of hindering the free movement of capital or influence the management or control of companies. The Government will neither initiate nor introduce any voting or acquisition caps, and it will not establish any disproportionate and non-justifiable veto rights or any other form of special rights in privatized companies. No further special rights will be introduced in the course of future privatization projects. The Government publishes and updates on a quarterly basis its medium-term staffing plans per department, for the period up to 2015, in line with the rule of 1 recruitment for 5 exits. The recruitment/exit rule applies to the general government as a whole. The staffing plans should be consistent with the target of reducing public employment by 150 thousand in end-2010–end-2015. If necessary, the Government will enact temporary hiring freezes…

15,000 redundant staff will be transferred to the labor reserve in the course of 2012, in connection with the identification of entities or units that are closed or downsized. Staff in the labor reserve will be paid at 60 percent of their basic wage (excluding overtime and other extra payments) for not more than 12 months, after which they will be dismissed. This period of 12 months may be extended up to 24 months for staff close to retirement. Payments to staff while in the labor reserve are considered part of their severance payments….The minimum wages established by the national general collective agreement will be reduced by 22 percent compared to the level of 1 January 2012; for youth (for ages below 25), the wages established by the national collective agreement will be reduced by 32 percent without restrictive conditions. Clauses in the law and in collective agreements which provide for automatic wage increases, including those based on seniority, are suspended…”

G8 is Past: BRICS is Becoming

G8 is a relic of a decrepit and descending group of countries, mainly made up of western powers. Canada, France Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom and the United States. Out of these countries one does not fit and that is Russia. Why does Russia not fit? Lets look at the graphs below…

G8

Now these numbers a few years old, but they hold true and the debt issue has grown considerably for all the G8 countries except Russia. Actually Russia has decreased her debt during this time as the rest of the G8 has increased at a tremendous pace…

G8 is hate: BRICS is the gate…

The G7 + 1 as Harper from Canada says while spitting hate at Putin and Russia. Is true, Russia does not belong and needs to tell the G7 that they are a drag upon the world and upon herself. Russia needs to go where it counts (BRICS). She needs to turn face to the real world and not stay talking with a bunch of has-been, rejects who have democracies built upon a of slavery driven, debt riddled, unrealistic, no morals and is superannuated…

I am not sure why Russia evens wants to be with this group in the first place and at the very least, a gathering of countries should be the G20 at a minimum. The G anything below 20 means nothing and has no bearing on what is happening in the world. When 99% of the countries that play this game are broke, then what the hell does it matter. Are we going to listen to a bunch of broke democracies (G8) tell us how to solve our problems, when they are the problems to begin with?

It has been hilarious to watch the degrading and slander of the western press and leaders as they bad mouth Russia and Putin. Putin has stood up to them (G8) over the Syria issue and the fangs have been bared as they retaliate against someone who has the balls to take them on. This is as much a personal issue with the leaders as a country issue. Putin scares these G8 leaders and as to the fact he could physically whip the shit out of anyone of them at any given time is a serious hormone factor at play here. Not to say the least of the fact, that Russia does not have any debt to speak of…

That my friend is the most important thing on the books. Russia has money and no debt…

Letnie Schi or Russian Green Soup

Letnie Schi is one of my favorite soups in Russia. Russians have long been only using what is available in Russia. That means most of the foods are only what can be produced and bought locally. This soup is a perfect example of making something from what you have on hand at all times and that is what Russians do best for they have never had abundance as a common factor…

So lets make a Letnie Schi and your family will wholeheartedly appreciate your efforts…

Letnie Schi:

Letnie SchiIngredients for Letnie Schi:
24fl.oz. water
8oz spinach
8oz sorrel
2 medium onions, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
3oz of celery root minced
2 medium potatoes, diced with or without skin (Russians say no skin!)
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp freshly chopped dill
4fl.oz. cream

When you Serve Letnie Schi:
Two sliced up hard boiled eggs
Sour Cream

Instructions

Place the water in a large saucepan, bring to the boil. While heating water add the onion, carrot, celery, spinach, potatoes, salt and pepper and once boiling, cook for 10 to 15 minutes…

Then add the sorrel or watercress, mix well then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. I prefer to reduce heat and onbe boiling is done, add the ingredients…

Then remove from the heat and stir in the cream and fresh dill. This is important as the cream will curdle and the dill will turn dark if you heat it too much…

Serve with slices of egg and a tablespoon of sour cream, laid onto the surface of the bowls of soup. Serve with black bread to give it that authentic Russian flair…

Enjoy…

Vladimir Putin: Red is the Color of the Line…

Vladimir PutinThe Russian president, Vladimir Putin, issued a blunt warning to the west tonight not to arm Syrian rebels who “eat the organs” of their enemies.

Following talks in Downing Street with David Cameron, he said the brutal behavior of the rebels was inconsistent with the “humanitarian and cultural values” of Europe. While he strongly defended the supply of arms by Moscow to the “legitimate” government of the Syrian president, Bashar Assad, he stressed that he wanted to achieve a diplomatic solution to the crisis.

He believed the G8 summit, starting on Monday in Lough Erne in Northern Ireland, was “one of the most appropriate means” to seek an end to the conflict.

At a joint news conference, Cameron acknowledged there were big differences between them on who was to blame for the conflict but insisted they could be overcome.

Vladimir Putin, who has made no secret of his opposition to US president Barack Obama’s plans to send arms to the rebels, was unsparing when he was asked about previous comments by Cameron that those who armed the regime had “the blood of the children of Syria” on their hands.

“The blood is on the hands of both parties. There is always a question as to who is to blame for that. One should hardly back those who kill their enemies and eat their organs,” he said, referring to an incident when a rebel fighter was filmed taking a bite out of an organ he had cut out of the body of a dead Syrian soldier.

“It is hardly in relation to the humanitarian and cultural values Europe has been professing for centuries.”

Putin has also reacted sceptically to evidence produced by Britain, France and the US that the regime has used chemical weapons – crossing Obama’s “red line” for intervention.

Vladimir Putin has just made a red line in the sand…

This could get real bad, Putin does not bluff…
