Chronological Tracking of the Metro Bombers in Russia!

The two women’s upper bodies are very intact due to the fact that the bombs were around their waist. They say that Security knew! They say lots of things! But if you have ever traveled the Moscow Metro and seen 7 + million people everyday, day in and day out, you would understand that stopping someone who would want to bomb the Metro would be very very hard to do…

Machine Translated but you will get the gist:
Yesterday identikit pictures of terrorists and their mentors were distributed to all militia attire in Moscow and Moscow region. Also, pictures of suicide bombers sent to the North Caucasus – Chechnya, Ingushetia and neighboring regions. Personalities suicide bombers hoped to install yesterday. Papers with them was not, but there are other, equally important clues. But to expose the terrorist underworld itself will be harder. However, as it became known “MK”, investigators have tested several versions.

The technology of the attack almost opened. However, with the caveat: it is unclear exactly what the scheme used by criminals. The first thread – a ticket for one trip, bought one of the suicide bombers in the subway station “South West” is just a half hour before the explosion on “Lubyanka.” Otsmotrev literally every inch of video surveillance cameras on the “South-West” and in the car was blown up by “Red Arrows”, the opera came to a conclusion: suicide bomber sat on the train there. And it was accompanied by two women and a man whose image is also captured a video camera.

Therefore the whole Monday night detectives were checking-out of the station “South West” and the adjacent area. Here – a major interchange node, here come the same number of coaches. Finally, just come here almost everyone who flew in from the southern regions to the airport “Vnukovo”. Checks the version that the suicide bomber decided to blow up Moscow, “one day”. The associates met them at the airport, able to take the car to the nearest metro station, the road gave the explosives and “blessed” to attack. A similar scheme was used by terrorists in August 2004, when two planes were blown up. Only then the suicide bomber, by contrast, flew from Moscow. True, this version is the weakest link: in “Vnukovo” so early, no flight has landed.

By the way, yesterday at the station “South West”, which allegedly went into the subway bombers, special gain was not appreciably. At the entrances to the station stood silent woman in police uniform with a metal detector in hand. Guarded one of the entrances to the Interior Ministry colonel and a captain expressed confidence that the suicide bomber went down in the subway than on their station.

But where?

For this there is a version number two – suicide arrived in the capital for intercity buses. But not on “South West”, and to the stadium “Luzhniki”, where the market is very easy to get lost among his own kind. And the starting point for at least one suicide bomber was the closest to the collapse luzhnikovskomu station “Sparrow Hills”. Perhaps that is why it happened a certain lack of coordination in the actions of two suicide bombers. According to eyewitnesses, terrorist number 2 is very nervous when the train kept stopping on the track (the line has been virtually paralyzed by the explosion at the “Lubyanka”). Apparently, criminals somewhere outwitted themselves and violated the timing.

In any case, the fact that the two explosions occurred on the Red Line subway, is not accidental: the detectives realize that this is the main geo-referencing. Either the suicide arrived at Vnukovo, or arrived in the south-western region by bus or rented an apartment or house in areas where it’s best to get it to the station Sokolniki subway line. Perhaps it is about private ownership in the west suburbs. Incidentally, we recall that the terrorist, blew himself at a rock festival “Wings” in the summer of 2003 and the failed bomber Muzhahoeva (it cleared and then sent to the colony for 20 years) two days spent in hiding – in the usual rustic house in Tolstopaltseve.

In connection with this person suddenly pops up a native of Dagestan Kartakaeva Jacob, who was detained in mid-March in Moscow. Remember this? Jacob stopped by a patrol ATS Kuntsevo. Harmless, in general, the procedure, but Kartakaev in response to routine requests pulled his pistol and shot the policemen. Later he was caught in a village near Moscow, with friends. Even then source “MK” noted: Kartakaev not as simple as it seems. Countrymen Jacob confirmed that the young man was a staunch Wahhabi, he even seized extremist literature. Moreover, other reports suggest that Kartakaev could be misdirected in Moscow to prepare the attacks. In this case, it is understandable why he responded to a simple check of documents. The maximum that would have been a guest of the capital, if he was taken to the department – Article of the Criminal Code for possession of weapons. In addition, the mysterious “BMW”, the driver of which offered to help guards deal with the detainees, there could be no accident. It is possible that for Kartakaevym already being followed precisely those same passengers foreign cars. That is why information about the involvement of the driver “behi” the killing of policemen was quickly refuted by the official representatives of the militia. According to some reports, several hours after the events in Polotsk street chauffeur “BMW” himself to the investigators and informed about their role during the emergency. According to some reports, a man who was driving a foreign car, a police officer. According to the official version, the driver asked the guards, not whether you need to help them. Weird question: the usual, standard situation – two policemen inspect the documents of guest workers. And as soon as the shooting started, “assistant” immediately Srul …

Officially, the Investigations Committee at the Prosecutor’s Office in Moscow version of Kartakaeva involvement in terror attacks “MK” is not confirmed. But we know something else: that the bombings will be, the enforcement agencies know about it!

According to unofficial information, shifrogramma the prospect of a series of terrorist attacks in Moscow distributed to leadership of the police department in the early 20-th of March. And it was precisely about the explosions in the underground with the use of extremist suicide bombers. And all last week in the capital to actively check of non-Russians, a little similar to the bombers. That is, apparently, clear from opers will not. But just in case the guards were preparing the order. And in one of the hospitals, according to unofficial data, the eve of the blasts were prepared place for a possible influx of victims.

Was it possible to prevent attacks? Probably … and staff 1 st Department of Internal Affairs on the subway, on duty the morning of 29 March at the red branch, and employees LOVD airport “Vnukovo” (as if the version with the arrivals of terrorists is confirmed) could check the documents of suicide. Could, but did not. Or overlooked in the crowd. Or even looked at the passport, but did not notice anything suspicious – as it was with the employee LOVD airport “Domodedovo”, missed the suicide bomber boarded the plane in the summer of 2004. So, most likely, in these units can expect layoffs. Or even criminal cases. The only pity is that the problem will not solve the terrorist

attacks.’s Most Wanted!

“According to some reports, the investigators already know the name of suicide number 2 with the station” Park Kultury “. By the way, she dyed her hair: natural hair color – dark brown, but she repainted them black. She was dressed in a black bolonevuyu jacket, shirt and bra, pants, socks and boots. No makeup, no earrings, no false teeth there. The feet – scalp. To look at her age 18, height 165 cm, presumably a native of Dagestan.

Signs of accompanying persons: male 25-30 years old, 180 cm, dense physique. On the head, dark baseball cap. Dressed in a blue jacket with white inserts. One of the women look 40 years old, of medium height, normal physique. A round face, head scarf-band. Dressed in a purple jacket with white buttons, gray coat. The second type of 25 years. It is of medium height and strong build. Face too round, the head bandage. Dressed in a gray coat.

A Day of Mourning in Russia!

The sign reads: Here in this place March 29, 2010 terrorist attack was carried out in a subway car that killed people. At this station will be a memorial plaque.

Svetlana travels this Metro almost everyday of her life and today she captured on film a Moscow in mourning.
One of the little known facts about this Metro bombing was that most of the victims are young adults suffering from massive internal injuries. That is because this was also known as the University line. (At least that is what I call it.) Students are traveling to the Moscow University to attend classes…
The massive internal injuries where caused in part by the fact that the explosives were designed on purpose to have excess shrapnel in them. The plastic explosive was embedded with nails, nuts, bolts and other small metal objects. Then when the explosion goes off it sends hundreds of projectiles in all directions to maximize injuries and death…
The dead and injured include students from around the world also. That information will be brought out later in time.

What The Two Most Powerful Men In Russia Are Doing Over The Metro Bombing…

Medvedev laid a wreath at the spot on the Lubyanka station platform where the doors of the second carriage opened and the first bomber detonated her explosives, killing at least 24 people.

The president said those behind the terrorist attacks would be tracked down and eliminated. “These are simply beasts, and regardless of their motives, what they did is a crime by any legal or moral standard,” Medvedev told reporters on hand for the occasion.
“I have no doubts whatsoever that we will find them and eliminate all of them,” he said, adding that everyone involved in the November bombing of the Nevsky Express had been killed. Twenty-seven passengers died in that attack, the first major terrorist incident beyond Russia’s North Caucasus since 2004.
While Medvedev was paying respect to the dead, Putin was checking on the victims that lived…

Putin flew in from Siberia and went immediately to the Sergey Botkin general clinical hospital Monday night to visit victims of bombings of the two metro trains. He went to the hospital straight from the airport. Earlier in the day, he had cut short a working trip to the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk and decided to return urgently to Moscow.

Earlier in the day Medvedev gave the orders for the government to get compensation in order for the families of the deceased and injured. Putin had everything done and in order even before he got back to Moscow.
I find myself amazed at times at how these two very powerful men work together like a well oiled machine. But anger does not seem to taint their judgment or their work. I have seen the anger flaring in Putin’s eyes at a press conference, as he was still in Siberia and we all heard Medvedev express the desire for the demise of the ones who performed this terrible act of terrorism. But both of them do their jobs together and never complain.
Time to watch what the future brings as Russia hunts down those who attacked her Moscow Metro and the innocent people that ride her cars everyday…

Medvedev Calls Meeting On Metro Terrorists Attacks!

Opening Remarks at Special Meeting Following Terrorist Attacks in the Moscow Metro:

PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA DMITRY MEDVEDEV: Two terrorist attacks were committed in the Moscow metro this morning. Let us first of all honour the victims’ memory with a minute of silence.

<...............>

Preventing these kinds of terrorist attacks and ensuring security in the transport system are very difficult tasks, as recent experience shows. We need to intensify substantially our efforts in this area and address this problem in comprehensive fashion on the national scale. It is not enough to focus on just one type of transport or just one specific location. We need to address this problem at the national level. The measures taken to date are clearly insufficient.

As for the concrete steps to take right now, we need, of course, to help the people affected, first of all, provide help and support to the families of those killed and help all the victims, help those now in hospitals. They must get all necessary aid from the Moscow authorities and from the federal government.

I have instructed the Government to hold a meeting today to discuss all of these issues in detail. I ask the Government to carry this out.

Regarding the situation in general, we need to remain vigilant. The sad truth is that these kinds of attacks are clearly always well-planned, calculated to cause as many victims as possible, and aimed at destabilising our country and society. The Interior Ministry and the security services must therefore work to raise public awareness and keep tight control on the situation. Of course, they must respect citizens’ rights, but keep things under tight control, intervening and responding as necessary if circumstances call for it.

Such practice exists throughout the world and in Russia too. Sadly, this is not the first time we find ourselves facing this sort of event. We therefore need to have precise and prepared responses in this kind of situation.

The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Investigative Committee must continue collecting evidence and conducting a thorough investigation, though without hampering traffic in the metro system, of course. Traffic must resume as soon as the investigations work has been completed, so as not to cause problems for the city.

All versions advanced so far need to be investigated as thoroughly as possible. This is very clearly a continuation of the terrorist activity we have already encountered, and the investigation will no doubt be based primarily on this version. Keep the investigation under your control and report to me on developments.

One final point I want to make is that we will continue our efforts to stamp out and combat terrorism in our country. We will continue our counterterrorist operations with unflinching resolve until we have defeated this scourge. I want all of you, the heads of our law enforcement and security agencies, to remember this and make it your guiding principle – we will act unflinchingly and not stop until terrorism is defeated.

We will hold another meeting soon on specific consequences of these attacks. Now we need to get on with our immediate duties, and so I propose that we all get back to our respective work.

Moscow Russia is in a Quiet State of Shock Today!

Photobucket

Life in Moscow goes on but with a much more somber tone today than normal. The president of Russia Medvedev has made his speech about what happened. The news media is on top of things and the cops are on every street corner, in our town! I am told that we have a excess amount of cops because our town is a major railway station. They are correct it is, a 20 minute walk and you are at a big train station…

So what happened?

Two blasts in Moscow’s subway stations Lubyanka and Park Kultury occurred during the early morning rush hour with an interval of 40 minutes, the first one at approximately 8:00 a.m. Moscow time (5:00 GMT). According to preliminary information, at least 37 people have died and dozens were injured.
MOSCOW, March 29 (RIA Novosti)

I took a long walk with the dog and then again without the dog. I was watching the cops stopping people on the corners and pulling people out of businesses to question them. The store I go to and shop for food, had one employee at a time, go out side and talk to officers.
Everything was calm, cool and the cops acted very professional. They without a doubt had a particular type of person they had their eyes watching for. I had covered allot of territory while walking and ended up at the train station. It was abuzz with activity. They even had several German Shepard dogs patrolling around the station. I decided not to attempt to take pictures because I think that things are tense enough all over.
So I decided that a quiet day in Moscow is in order…

Two blasts in Moscow Metro, dozens killed!

Two blasts in Moscow Metro, dozens killed

Published 29 March, 2010, 08:26

Two explosions have rocked the Moscow Metro this morning, claiming dozens of dead and injured.

The first explosion happened in a carriage at the central Lubyanka underground station and has claimed the lives of 26 people, with more injured, informs RIA Novosti news agency.

The second blast happened at the Park Kultury Metro station in the third carriage of a train. 15 or more people are reported to be dead, the quantity of injured is unknown.

According to Russia’s Emergency Ministry, the first explosion presumably happened in the second carriage of a Metro train stopped at the Lubyanka station in the very center of Moscow, only several hundred meters from the Kremlin. At 9:30am Moscow Time, the Emergencies Ministry gave the number of casualties as 20 killed and 11 wounded on Lubyanka station and 12 killed and 7 wounded at Park Kultury station.

Rescuers are working at both scenes.

The explosions happened during rush hour. Both Lubyanka and Park Kultury stations are very busy interchange stations, with many people there at any given time, particularly on Monday morning.

It is hard to make any assumptions right now but some reports say the explosions were carried out by suicide bombers.

Meanwhile, all train services have been suspended on the Moscow Metro system for the time being, with security services on high alert.

A criminal investigation into a terrorist act has been initiated.
“It has been a planned action”

Viktor Linnik, Editor-in-Chief of Slovo newspaper, told RT that “this is obviously a planned action.”

“Probably there have been leaks on terror acts being planned in Moscow because there have been very strong armed patrols in Moscow for the past five or six days,” he said.

“What has happened is a shock, but not a cause for panic. We have seen it before,” Linnik added.

Previous blasts in Moscow Metro:

January 8, 1977, the first terrorist attack in the Metro. An explosive device filled with metal pieces killed seven people and injured 37 between Izmaylovskaya and Pervomayskaya stations on the dark blue line in the North-East of Moscow, along with two other blasts in two grocery stores. The three culprits were caught and executed after trial.

April 20, 1989, two homemade explosive devices were found and neutralized on the circle line, one at Pavelyetskaya to the south and the other at Prospekt Mira to the north.

November 24, 1992, a minor blast occurred on the orange line at Prospekt Mira, when some teenagers threw a firecracker on to the platform. Nobody was harmed.

June 11, 1996, a homemade explosive device equivalent to 400-500 grams of TNT was detonated on the grey line between Tulskaya and Nagatinskaya in the south. 4 people died, and 16 were injured.

January 1, 1998, a homemade bomb exploded on the orange line at Tretyakovskaya, near the center of Moscow. Three people were injured and hospitalized.

February 6, 2001, a blast on the circle line did not kill or injure anybody, but was officially acknowledged at Belorusskaya station, on the circle line to the north-west.

February, 6, 2004 marked the biggest Moscow Metro blast so far, with about 40 casualties and hundreds injured on the green line. This was between Paveletskaya and Avtozavodskaya just to the south of the circle line.

Is Putin suggesting where Kiev has messed up in the past?

Ukraine recently has said their price is “unreasonably high for gas, at $305 per 1,000 cubic meter” pointing to Belarus, which only pays $168 per 1,000 cubic meter.

Putin gave an answer: Russia and Belarus “are building a Union State and a Customs Union, and that is why we do not take a 30% custom duty.” Putin also said, “Here is Ukraine’s interest about integration in the post-Soviet space. It is essential that our colleagues (Ukraine) assess and weigh everything up and understand what is necessary and what is not.”

Moscow has not put a barrier up that prevents Ukraine from joining the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Kiev is the one that has looked the other way when offered…

Is Putin suggesting where Kiev has messed up in the past?
