I understand and I don’t accept all this crap that keeps rolling like a snowball downhill…

UEFI, CSM, patch in a UEFI GOP, dance a jig, sing a song and spend more money than your whole system cost in the first place to get a decent graphical base visible for your Windows 11 and to top it off they mess things up with every update and you sometimes have to start over, just to get past the black screen of death at boot…

Yet, I use it to learn and by that I mean learn to alter and adapt Windows 11 into a OS that is nothing like Windows 11. I slice and dice and I simply rewrite what needs to be…

I have a very wonderful Graphic Card, a NVIDIA FX 1700 Quadro and yes it is old, but it is a fantastic card for graphics and such. I am not a gamer and will not be a gamer and all I want is quality monitor usage. I want my screen crystal clear and I do not want to spend thousands of dollars to be doing it on a new video card…

But, that said…

I have just ordered a more modern card from AliExpress, brand new, but much more modern and well within the Microsoft Bull Crap changes, that always makes me come back to say, “Microsoft Sucks!”

There is so many ways that companies force people to buy and buy and buy and people do simply buy and buy and buy…

It is happening right now and I hate to tell companies this, but people do not have the money to simply toss out the old and buy a brand new latest and greatest whatchamacallit…

Thus, comes reality and friendliness for a better life from and in China…

I ordered a brand new, but old card that I found on sale. About $40 gets me a GTX 750 Ti. Now I know you just, being from the West, look all stupid at the computing device you are reading this from and saying, “This guy is stupid. The card is from 2014, it is only PCIe 2.0 and AliExpress sucks!”

Granted all is true basically, except AliExpress is vastly better than Amazon, I know my stores and the card is really brand new, I am jumping from PCIe 1.0 to 2.0 and I am only (as my grandma would say) half as stupid as you are…

Yes the Quadro should be 2.0. but it is not and or it will not be read as such. (?)

I ordered, they shipped same day and it will be here in basically a week…

I might buy the latest and greatest for my SweetPea? But, for me? I use what I desire and develop with. under powered and or not…

This new card for me, will allow me to do other things than simply try to keep a desktop computer going against Microsoft wishes and greediness…

Last update really pissed me off. I run, as opposed to what I let Sveta run, a very hacked system. SweetPea runs stock Windows 11 Iot Enterprise LTSC. I run a system that has very little in common with what most people run. Thus, I am forced to grudgingly upgrade my video card a tiny bit…

Yet here I am and running a old 2007 FX 1700 Quadro at the moment and my screen is beautiful and it satisfies all my needs for computing… (old 2007???)

Gotta go hack some more Windows… 🙂

Trump said that if the President of Russia doesn’t resolve the Ukrainian conflict, “it is not going to be good for him.” So just another one of his endless threats.

If the ‘business peacemaker’ is talking about Tomahawks, then that statement is wrong. The delivery of those missiles would not be good for anyone. First and foremost, it will end badly for Trump himself.

It has already been said a hundred times, in terms even star-spangled Uncle Sam could understand: it’s impossible to tell whether a Tomahawk carries a nuclear or conventional warhead while it’s in flight. Their launch wouldn’t originate from Banderite Kiev, it would be controlled by the United States. In other words, by Trump. So how is Russia supposed to respond? Exactly.

Let’s just hope this is another empty threat, brought on by long talks with the cocaine-fueled clown. Sort of like sending nuclear submarines “closer to Russia.” You know how it goes – a submarine suddenly surfaces somewhere in the steppes of Ukraine.

The Kremlin spokesman said that if Tomahawks were launched at Russian targets, Moscow would have to take into account that some versions of the missile can carry nuclear warheads.
