On Monday, TASS reported that Senator Andrey Kutepov, a legislator in the upper house of Russia’s parliament, had produced the draft law, which sets out legal principles governing robots and their interactions with people.

I hope that the minds better than the average Upper House representative in parliament has in Russia, does the research and expertise work on such an important issue?
Something about ‘sharpest tack in the box’ and ‘politicians’ seems to be a good contemplation this morning…
Three Laws people….just remember the Three laws! Asimov has already done the work for us…
1. A robot may not injure a human being or,
2. Through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm…
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.
