Sanctions are a joke against the Russian people…

Yes the people and every time the west imposes more sanctions, the people pull closer together and more congealed against the west. A sanction to a Russian is not the same as a sanction to an American and you sanction Putin, you have sanction the people. You sanction the businesses, you sanction the people etc etc etc. There is no such thing as targeted sanctions, because one is all and all is one…

Russians literally never borrow money from a bank and Russians despise banks. So targeting a Russian bank only hurts the western companies trying to do business in Russia. If you told a Russian that he could never borrow money again. He would look at you like you are from mars or something like that. The thought of buying a car or home on credit is reserved for the small percent of the population in Russia that is either “rich” or “stupid.” Everyone in between pays cash and nothing but cash and or the equivalent such as resources…

That is an important issue to understand, Russia is resource rich and the people are use to and get cheap resources. Maybe their resources are not in the form of TVs and computers, but they get what they need to live and survive and it is dirt cheap. I live the same myself in Russia and when I tell you that people live easily on 10,000 rubles (300 bucks) a month retirement, I am not pulling any legs…

Here is the deal, unless you can sanction the Russian infrastructure that is self looping and self consuming and not reliant upon any outside influence such as finances and or external employment. Then you will accomplish nothing in the short or long term, because Russians do not have anything you can sanction…

Therefore, companies such as Visa, John Deere, Boeing, BP, McDonald’s, Wendy’s (They collapsed already by the way, over these sanctions!) and many many other companies tied to the west, are going to drop like files in Russia after a fly spray is used. These companies have not capability to absorb losses on the scale they will be required to accept, due to a renegade government in America trying to destroy Russia by sanctions…

How do you sanction a people that still cuts their own lumber by hand, grows most of their food in their little patch of land, makes their own brooms from tree limbs, still plows large swaths of land by mule and a single plow for food and creates auto parts from blank steel billets. How do you destroy thru sanctions a country that does not use the financial, moral and degrading human slaved material items that the west does…

Strange, but it took me several years here in Russia to understand that I knew hundreds of people and no one used credit from a bank to buy anything (I do know of one friend of Sveta’s and she had a loan to buy a car! That was a mess!) Everyone you meet does not make payments to a bank. They do not have house payments and they do not pay on a stereo system, TV, car, new carpet, house remodeling and a thousand other things. They also save money and it is in a jar buried in the back yard. So to say…

Strange again in Russia compared to the U.S.; Need to build a home in a village? Go ahead, cut your trees down and shave the bark and square them up and by golly, build a home. It is that simple and that easy. They built from scratch what is needed and if you can not build it, you wait for someone who can and barter with him. I laugh when I see America slobber all over housing starts data, for in Russia no one knows or cares if you build a house, just build the damn thing already. Once it is built then it is permanent…

Wait did I hear you say something about water, septic and whatever?

The only thing you need to worry about is electricity and get the meter attached to the outside of your new home. From there it is up to you to kill yourself by electrocution. Water is hauled from the local well and or stream…

Wait what did you say, “What about running water and a nice toilet to piss in?”

Sorry, but that is why you will not make it with sanctions and Russian will. The world is a bathroom and you need to use it and a bucket of water is a bathtub. I have a river nearby and that is running water and the outhouse is still standing, so I use it…

Even Muscovite’s grow half their food at their dachas, that is what a dacha is for, growing food. Good nutritious food…

Now what did I hear you say, “What kind of life does a Russian have not selling his soul to debt, not having a TV in every room and what kind of life would you have, with an outdoor toilet? (Gasp!)” 🙁

My answer is, “A damn fine life indeed!” And it is minus all the overhead of the life you are being slaved toward…

Go ahead America, sanction yourself into the grave and lay as you have the dirt tossed over your bodies. Sanction and sanction and sanction and sanction some more, because Russia does not bow down to your schemes and stands up to your games in the world. My what a pissed little baby America has become…

You think that Russia, a people who has burned their own Moscow to keep it from Napoleon and who died by the millions and millions in World War Two protecting the Motherland, give a crap about American sanctions?

Sanctions are a joke against the Russian people, as they plant their fields and create parts from scratch to fix what they have to work with.

How does sanctions change that?

Good question and I just answered it…
