Svetochka has been at the grandkids and I been busy!

So I rebuilt Sveta’s childhood doll…

Sveta brought him home from her mothers and he was in pieces. The glue holding him together had dried out and powdered away and his sack of onions/potatoes/cabbage was empty. His mustache was also half gone and what was left was kinda rough…

So I stripped him to the basics and gave him a bath. Then we dressed him again. After looking at him, I decided Gino from Italy was a good place for him to be named and from. Actually he looks a bit Cossack and I am probably insulting the original makers of the doll…

Filled his sack with goodies and he is a happy guy again…

Sveta got the doll as a child…

Pet peeve of mine with new construction. Year old sidewalk…

New housing complex and all the sidewalks are crumbling. I despise brick sidewalks, because they use bad/cheap-ass bricks as a cost saver. Poor walking conditions and such. I prefer asphalt, so much nicer on the feet…
