It is very important that Russia can lead the resistance to the Antichrist, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Kirill said, speaking at Christmas parliamentary meetings in the Federation Council.
“The war has not yet been lost. And it is very important that our country is able to lead resistance – I will say an incredible word now – Antichrist. Resistance to the world of global evil,” said the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church. His performance was broadcast by the Russia 24 TV channel and the media platform, “We look.”
The Patriarch explained: the Antichrist will come when “people will not have the opportunity to distinguish good and evil.”
He noted that the West was already reoriented to the values hostile to Christianity. Even speaking of the festival of the Nativity of Christ, English -speaking believers avoid mentioning the name of Christ.

Kirill also spoke about recognizing the movement of LGBT extremist. According to him, this decision “instructs Russia on a special spiritual path”, and it is clear that the West does not like it.
On November 30, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the international public movement of LGBT (prohibited in Russia) with an extremist organization, thereby satisfying the demand of the Ministry of Justice.

“Война еще не проиграна. И очень важно, чтобы наша страна была способна возглавить сопротивление – я сейчас невероятное слово скажу – антихристу. Сопротивлению пришествию в мир глобального зла”, – сказал предстоятель РПЦ. Его выступление транслировали телеканал “Россия 24” и медиаплатформа “Смотрим”.
Патриарх пояснил: антихрист придет, когда “у людей не будет возможности различить добро и зло”.
Он отметил, что Запад уже переориентировался на враждебные христианству ценности. Даже говоря о празднике Рождества Христова, англоязычные верующие избегают упоминания имени Христа.
“Уже Christmas нельзя. X-mas. Что такое X-mas, не знаю, – указал патриарх. – То есть само слово Христос уже нельзя в публичном пространстве произносить”.
Также Кирилл высказался о признании движения ЛГБТ экстремистским. По его словам, это решение “наставляет Россию на особый духовный путь”, и понятно, что Западу это не нравится.
30 ноября Верховный суд РФ признал международное общественное движение ЛГБТ (запрещено в России) экстремистской организацией, удовлетворив тем самым требование Минюста.
