It is extremely symptomatic that the nation (Turkey) which had fought dozen or so wars with Russia since the late 1700’s and has generally been considered main regional rival to the Russians (except briefly, during the Stalin-Ataturk rapprochement in the mid-to-late 1920s), is now consistently a more friendly and reliable ally of Russia than it is to United States, the nation it practically never warred with (except very, very briefly and on an insignificant scale) with which it was militarily allied since at least 1949…
The United States government should seriously and as a matter of the highest national emergency, analyze what it is about its international behavior that is turning off and away friends and foes alike and transforming them into sworn enemies…
May I respectfully suggest that general dishonesty, duplicity, cynicism and total unreliability of the American officials and casual, nonchalant pragmatism (read: Wild West Gangsterism) of the American foreign policy and blatant in-your-face lack of respect for the rest of the world may be to blame…
