Former President Donald Trump said he had threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin to strike Moscow, he made the claim in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
“I said: “Volodymyr, if you chase Ukraine, I will hit you so hard that you won’t even believe it. I’m going to strike you right in the middle of fucking Moscow. I said: we are friends. I don’t want to do it, but I have no choice,” Trump said.
According to him, Putin responded “no way” (can be translated as “for nothing” or “cannot be”). The Republican continued, “I said, ‘You’re going to be in a lot of pain, and I’m going to take those [damn] domes off your head.'”
Trump did not explain when or under what circumstances the dialogue took place, but noted that he had a great relationship with Putin and that the Russian president “knows I’m [F-n] crazy.”
