Our new “Nikolai’s Home” is sitting on top of the world. At least it looks like it is at times. It is located such that it has a perfect view of the valley and you can see everyone who is trying to get to the village…

When Sammy the Volga demands attention, I give her attention. Working on the rear leaf spring on the drivers side. I need to change a shackle, but make that shackle 3 cm longer at the same time. Sammy is getting old and needs some tiny lifts here and there to keep her trim figure looking nice…

Not much traffic at the Ole TRV…

Every time I look at myself, I see my grandpa’s Stroud/Keeton. Mainly because my dad died at 50 and grandpa’s died at 83 respectively. So I saw my grandpas as much older than my dad when they all passed away….interesting to think how we perceive things from our younger years…

Apples are not big this year. Last year was gangbusters for apples and this year the trees will rest…

Guess who has two pears this year?

Yes we do and that means next year we will have a bunch of pears to much on. Yummy!

We also could have white lilacs next year and it looks as if our Chestnut Tree has survived. The T-Rose even came back and I really thought the last winter and very little care had killed it. So happy…
