Well well…
A pair of Wrens have taken up our front gate. They are hiding between two boards at the gate lock area and that means that my gate has become inutile….not usable/worthless for awhile…
It just makes my walk to mom’s home twice as long. Yet I need the walking exercise and it is all okay!
Light blue speckled eggs and mommy wren does not trust me yet. Yesterday the nest was empty and wallah, today it has two eggs and a grouchy mamma sitting on it… 🙂
Actually a very safe spot…
So out the back gate and around the yard I go to mom’s home now to do my work…
I love baby birds and wren are a very good bird to have. I am looking for field sparrow nests also. I think they put them up very high in the maple trees and the pine trees? I was hoping to find them in the plum trees? No way so far…
