I have had several people ask about what we will do about the white lilacs we were sent?
Never fear, we will get to the village soon…
The lilacs are doing great and all lived…. Yes really, all of them lived… 🙂
Svetochka’s mother has taken the little ones on as her family and since the Tiny Russian Village home is hers, they are her little children, for they will be planted on her property…
She told Svetochka this morning that they have sprouted leaves and I knew that since we were busy, Sveta’s mother could make the difference between living and dying for the little plants…
So in a few weeks Boza, Svetochka and I will go to the Tiny Russian Village and take care of the place for the summer. While we are there we will tend to the rose, our little baby pine tree and we will plant our new lilacs. We will also get someone to help water them while we are still in Moscow. But, Boza and I will be in the village for at least a few months of the summer and fall. Then Boza and I will spend the winter there…
I will admit I am kinda peeved at having so much to do in the village and not being able to get there, but life comes first and my desires do not fit the plan. Boza and I need doctor stuff done and that is simply that…
Svetochka will go see her mother this week and I will remind her to get pictures of the lilacs. I want to see them also…
