I have no more animals to sacrifice and I guess I will do like the Russians and ignore the fact that they missed the deadline….yes that is normal Russian way to do things also…

PS: Update: 2 p.m. hot water flowed….the gods love us again….Or maybe they were tired of us all stinking like a pig farm?
Every year (Here in Moscow, Russia.) we pray to the “Hot Water Gods”. They are a persnickety group of gods. Everything has to be perfect and exact before they turn our hot water back on. It is a process requiring great precision and expertise. I am sure they work hard 24/7 until it is done? Never mind why they have to do such a thing in the first place? It is something that the gods do every year and I feel they enjoy such moments as we have to take cold showers and wash everything in cold water….Today we hope that we have sufficiently sacrificed appropriately to the “Hot Water Gods” and thus they will allow us a trickle of hot water to cleanse our souls with…. They are a very powerful god and we do not want to upset them…
Today (13th of August, 2018) is the day that it should get turned back on… (?)
But the day is half over and we still do not have hot water?
Therefore, such is life in the big city…
Maybe I should burn meat on an altar to these persnickety gods?

Many things were said, they were not things said by a raving lunatic…
I agree something snapped in him, but he was not crazy (whether you want to believe it or not) and he, by his words, represented a whole bunch of issues that is becoming serious. We do lots of nutty things in life and I have seen some real doozies as I have walked this earth…
Something very forewarning about this whole situation and that is something we should try to understand. I am not alone, the comments about what happened are either very callused individuals and or people who feel something wrong…
I myself have some thinking to do about this issue….this is a time for understanding what triggered this. It is more than just a one issue happening. This is a highly intelligent, self taught individual and he stole this jet…

I love this traffic circle that has sputnik in the middle. It is a wonderful, beautiful spot in our city. There are lots of these type of places, but this one makes me stop and realize our history in the world. It is amazing to think I live as an American in the heart of the Russian area that gave birth to Sputnik…
I walk by these pigeon homes all the time. This home is full of pigeons and soon the owner will come to let them all out. Russians love their pigeons, in fact it is amazing as to the extent they will go to assure these birds have homes. There are thousands and thousands of these pigeon hotels all over Moscow. Even in the small tiny Russian Villages have such places. Remember I have said that even Vova in the Tiny Russian Village we have a home at, has a pigeon home for his buddies…

The USA and the west does want that war very badly. As the US is Trillions ($) in debt and lives off foreign loans. America lives in a much more fragile monetary bubble than you realize and has much more to loose than 99% of the world…

I give Russia credit where credit is due, it has done everything it can to preserve peace and avoid a nuclear war even though it has the major advantage in its nuclear arsenal over the USA….

Sveta has a love for tracking us as we ride bikes…
I do not like riding around town, but once you get out of the busy section, life is good. We have kilometers of forest, single dwelling homes and nice paved roads to ride on. We also have lots of trails through the woods to ride on as well….and we have some terrible, but fun roads to ride on also. I call them goat trails…
Actually we rode bikes in the country roads of our city. We are lucky to have so many forests around us. Russia is good about making sure that people have access to wonderful parks and such to ride in and walk in. It is a good trait of Russians to have lots of playgrounds and lots of nature areas to play in…
This is all part of that exercise that fat people like me need!
The more I ride and walk, the less fat I have to deal with and the better my diabetes gets….the ride caused my blood sugar to drop faster than normal and this morning one hour earlier than usual, I was in the 4’s and it was time to get up and eat a bite of food…
Exercise makes a difference, diabetic or not…

WASHINGTON, August 8. /TASS/. The US authorities are imposing new sanctions on Russia because of the Skripal case, the US Department of State said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Following the use of a ‘Novichok’ nerve agent in an attempt to assassinate UK citizen Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia Skripal, the United States, on August 6, 2018, determined under the Chemical and Biological Weapons Control and Warfare Elimination Act of 1991 (CBW Act) that the Government of the Russian Federation has used chemical or biological weapons in violation of international law or has used lethal chemical or biological weapons against its own nationals,” the statement runs.
The sanctions will take effect on August 22, the State Department noted.
On March 4, Sergei Skripal, 66, who had been convicted in Russia for spying for the UK but later swapped for Russian intelligence officers, and his daughter Yulia, 33, were found unconscious on a bench near the Maltings shopping center in Salisbury. Police said they suffered the effects of an alleged nerve agent.
Later on, London claimed that the Novichok-class toxin had been developed in Russia. The UK rushed to accuse Russia of being involved failing to furnish any evidence. Moscow refuted the accusations stating that neither the Soviet Union nor Russia had ever done research on that toxic agent.
