Walked and checked out what is happening…

Okay, I have to say something sometimes about strange people I see…

The gal above in the image at the kiosk to order food gave the McDonald’s crew a heart attack…

She arrived at the same time I did. I ordered from the kiosk next to her. I got my food, I ate my food I sat almost a half hour and she was just finishing her order as I was getting up to go…

I stood in amazement and watched her scroll through 15 pages of food items that she ordered She is scrolling in the image. I could not see the price, but she had minimal of a hundred + sandwiches and that is not to say anything about sides, drinks and whatnot’s…

I did see her check 48 large coffees and 35 small… (They were large enough print on screen to read from my seat…)

When she paid for the order! By credit card…

The back of the house (kitchen) almost exploded. They could not see her from the back and had no idea that someone was ordering enough food to feed a whole city block….Out from the office exploded two hiding managers and the cooks, well they almost fell on the ground. And the moans of, “WTF and I hate customers!” Exploded from the back. It sounded as if Zombies had been let loose and mixed in were a couple of English expletives (much safer than Russian expletives)….For there goes their timed response that the main office watches constantly….I actually expected the screen where the order number shows up to explode off the wall and or print out something like, “Danger, Will Robinson!”

I walked by her as I left and looked at her. I wanted to see again in my life, what stupid looked like… McDonald’s really appreciates orders like this to be called in and give them time to make it. For as I walked out….twenty or so male type monkeys and two or three of their haggard beaten moms, poured into the place and believe you me, they had nothing to do with the teenage girl who was leaning against the wall waiting for her food and all her friends/coworkers/only god knows, food that she ordered…

That does not include the hundred more people waiting and eating already in the place…

Gravy Train; I am so glad I do not have to deal with that anymore….but I did almost ask the manager, “Do you want me to drag her outside and bury her body in a snow drift?”

Na, that would be too much fun…

The last few days, I have been a tidbit pissed. The workers shoved by tractor a mountain of snow & ice chunks against our car and you know we love our Sammy the Volga. Thus, I got rather testy about life…

Too make matters worse. This is the second time in just a few days that they have done this. The first time I cleaned it, I was going to move it the next day and they buried it again….Are They stupid?

I think so and since no one follows them around to make sure they do their jobs, they get away with murder…

Yes sadly Russians can be a tad stupid at times also and us people who live here have to accommodate that level of ignorance. Everyday, everyone who drives digs and digs and digs, while the workers shove snow all over the place and blocks the drivers and walkers into their spots. Nothing like walking a regular path/sidewalk and finding that someone just mounded snow in the middle of the path ten foot deep…

Today, I got the car dug out and moved…

Poor Svetochka, has to put up with my grouchiness…but she is a good girl and takes it all in stride, plus I love her dearly. She has learned that I get testy when people bother people & things dear to me…

But that coffee is sure good…

To live in a world with such a psychotic country as the US and knowing that they will attack at any drop of a hat or pin….is not a very reassuring thought. That thought is on billions and billions of peoples minds daily and every time the US sanctions, attacks, bad mouths and simply threatens another country. More people start thinking about, “Are we next?”

KIEV, January 22. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Batkivshchina (or Fatherland) party has nominated its leader, former prime minister Yulia Timoshenko to run for president. The decision was made at a party congress on Tuesday.Timoshenko’s electoral program emphasizes the need for a new economic policy. She said earlier that more than 100 experts had been working on a new policy for three years. “This is the country’s intellectual resource that can give us a chance, and we, politicians, will implement it provision after provision. This is a path towards success and revival,” she claimed.The Ukrainian presidential election is scheduled to take place on March 31.According to recent opinion polls, Timoshenko leads the race as 19.3% of Ukrainians are ready to vote for her. Comedian Vladimir Zelensky comes second (12.9%), while founder of the “Opposition Platform For Life” group Yuri Boiko is third (11.6%). Incumbent President Pyotr Poroshenko comes fourth (11.3%), followed by former defense minister, leader of the Civil Position party Anatoly Gritsenko.

Last week President Trump announced that the United States would no longer recognize Nicholas Maduro as president of Venezuela and would recognize the head of its national assembly, Jose Guaido, as president instead. US thus openly backs regime change. But what has long been a dream of the neocons may well turn out to be a nightmare for President Trump.

Why did Trump declare that the Venezuelan president was no longer the president? According to the State Department, the Administration was acting to help enforce the Venezuelan constitution. If only they were so eager to enforce our own Constitution!

It’s ironic that a president who has spent the first two years in office fighting charges that a foreign country meddled in the US elections would turn around and not only meddle in foreign elections but actually demand the right to name a foreign country’s president! How would we react if the Chinese and Russians decided that President Trump was not upholding the US Constitution and recognized Speaker Nancy Pelosi as US president instead?

Even those who would like to see a change of government in Venezuela should reject any notion that the change must be “helped” by the United States. According to press reports, Vice President Mike Pence was so involved in internal Venezuelan affairs that he actually urged Guaido to name himself president and promised US support. This is not only foolish, it is very dangerous. A Venezuelan civil war would result in mass death and even more economic misery!

Regime change has long been US policy for Venezuela. The US has been conducting economic warfare practically since Maduro’s predecessor, Hugo Chavez, was first elected in 1998. The goal of US sanctions and other economic measures against Venezuela (and other countries in Washington’s crosshairs) is to make life so miserable for average citizens that they rise up and overthrow their leaders. But of course once they do so they must replace those leaders with someone approved by Washington. Remember after the “Arab Spring” in Egypt when the people did rise up and overthrow their leader, but they then elected the “wrong” candidate. The army moved in and deposed the elected president and replaced him with a Washington-approved politician. Then-Secretary of State John Kerry called it “restoring democracy.”

It is tragically comical that President Trump has named convicted criminal Elliot Abrams as his point person to “restore democracy” in Venezuela. Abrams played a key role in the Iran-Contra affair and went on to be one of the chief architects of the disastrous US invasion of Iraq in 2003. His role in helping promote the horrible violence in Latin America in the 1980s should disqualify him from ever holding public office again.

Instead of this ham-fisted coup d’etat, a better policy for Venezuela these past 20 years would have been engagement and trade. If we truly believe in the superiority of a free market system we must also believe that we can only lead by example, not by forcing our system on others.

Just four months ago President Trump said at the UN: “I honor the right of every nation in this room to pursue its own customs, beliefs, and traditions. The United States will not tell you how to live or work or worship. We only ask that you honor our sovereignty in return.” Sadly it seems that these were merely empty words. We know from Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc. that this will not end well for President Trump. Or for the United States. We must leave Venezuela alone!
