I have been waiting patiently and it has paid off:
Almost 6 gigabytes of new OS for my Huawei Mate 30 smartphone. I have been messing with it and followed the little notes it popped up, such as before use, charge the phone for 30 to 60 minutes before using, stuff like that. Then I have lived with it for a bit and found that everything has become so much better and that is after I thought that it was as good as it gets in the first place….did not lose any data from the old system and HarmonyOS still uses EMUI 11 look that is Huawei trademark. Thus, everything is familiar…

I can feel the changes much more than see them as the phone has gone from Android 11 to HarmonyOS 2.0 and it feels like a brand new phone. Talk about a purchase of delights, since I bought the phone used a while back (in February of 2020)….at half the price no less. Sometimes you find that perfect phone!

This was going on many years ago and not due to sanctions (Website Blocking)
We lost several domains and many sites as lawsuits and threats went on for years. When that failed them, they proceeded to DDOS attack for many more years. I had the coffeetalk website and it reached unbelievable popularity and finally GoDaddy based in the USA sold it out from under us and gave the domain and name to someone else….it did not matter that I had it first….I could not grease the wheels at GoDaddy with money to get what I want and or keep what I owned…
That was the straw that broke the camels back and made us realize that if the domains are even a tiny bit in any jurisdiction of the US, they will be able to get to you in some way…

Gonna get in the mid 80’s F. for a week or more. For Russians that will be hot and miserable….this Russified American will agree nowadays. Last year it last about one and a half weeks, then started back down again. I am watching to see what happens this year. We have had some bad years of harsh heat…

The simplest way to deal with them and keep the stink under control?
Dish detergent and water in a sprayer….I read up about what to do and for some strange reason, everyone raves about Dawn Detergent as a stink bug killer. Why just Dawn Detergent? So I grabbed my dish soap called Fairy Detergent and filled my sprayer with a liter of water and three squirts of Fairy Dust Detergent. Then made sure it was mixed gently to keep foam and bubbles down…
Do not spray everything….just the stink bug and if you can, after doing such a mean thing as spray stink bugs, wash the soap off the leaves. The stink bugs die. I mean within 10 seconds they drop and wings come apart to show the red body under them and cease to exist. Once they drop? I of course give them a good soaking again to make sure that they are officially dead and it also makes me feel better to be thorough….you don’t want no zombie stink bugs, now do you?
Just a cheap sprayer that I bought for 100 rubles, water, cheap dish detergent and not being too lazy…
I mean….it works and so simple…
Mamma and Papa Wagtail watched me and asked, “What you doing?”

Decree on temporary measures to resolve the legal status of foreign citizens – PDF download
In order to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population and to regulate the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation during the period of overcoming the consequences of the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), guided by Article 80 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, I decide:
1. To suspend from June 16, 2021 until the expiration of 90 days from the date of lifting the temporary restrictions on transport links with a foreign state introduced by the Russian Federation:
a) the course of the periods of temporary stay in the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are in the Russian Federation and have citizenship of a foreign state or a residence permit or other document confirming the right to permanent residence in its territory, the periods for which such foreign citizens and stateless persons are registered at the place of stay, as well as the validity periods of the visa and migration card with the stamps affixed in it, issued to these foreign citizens and stateless persons;
b) during the validity period of certificates of a participant in the State Program for Assisting the Voluntary Resettlement of Compatriots Living Abroad to the Russian Federation, valid as of March 15, 2020;
c) during the validity periods of temporary residence permits in the Russian Federation and residence permits valid as of March 15, 2020, if foreign citizens and stateless persons with such documents are outside the Russian Federation;
d) the duration of the stay outside the Russian Federation of participants in the State Program for Assisting the Voluntary Resettlement to the Russian Federation of Compatriots Living Abroad and Members of Their Families, as well as Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons who have received a temporary residence permit in the Russian Federation or a type for a residence permit or highly qualified specialists, if the participants of the said State program and members of their families, foreign citizens and stateless persons did not enter the Russian Federation before the expiration of the 6-month period of stay outside of it, necessary for making a decision to cancel the certificate of the participant named State program, a temporary residence permit in the Russian Federation, a residence permit, a work permit issued to a highly qualified specialist.
2. Establish that:
a) until September 30, 2021, inclusively, in relation to foreign citizens and stateless persons who are on the territory of the Russian Federation (with the exception of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are released from places of detention, or who have violated the legislation on the state border of the Russian Federation, or who pose a threat national security of the Russian Federation, including those who advocate forcible change of the foundations of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation, or who assist in the commission of terrorist (extremist) acts or commit them, as well as by other actions supporting terrorist (extremist) activities, or encroaching on public order and public security, including those participating in an unauthorized meeting, rally, demonstration, march or picketing), no decisions are made on administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation in the form of forced expulsion from the Russian Federation, on administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation in the form of controlled independent departure from the Russian Federation, on deportation or transfer to a foreign state in accordance with the international treaty of the Russian Federation on readmission, decisions not to permit entry into the Russian Federation or the undesirability of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation , on the reduction of the period of temporary stay in the Russian Federation;
b) foreign citizens and stateless persons who arrived in the Russian Federation before March 15, 2020 and do not have legal grounds for stay (residence) in the Russian Federation as of June 16, 2021, have the right to apply to the territorial bodies until September 30, 2021 inclusively Of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with a statement made in an arbitrary form about the settlement of their legal status or to leave the Russian Federation.
3. To suspend from June 16 to December 31, 2021 inclusively during the periods of temporary or permanent residence in the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are in the Russian Federation, the periods for which foreign citizens and stateless persons are registered at the place of residence, as well as the validity periods of refugee certificates and certificates of temporary asylum on the territory of the Russian Federation.
4. Establish that from June 16 to December 31, 2021 inclusive
