Almost got the Russian Village Home painted…

Had a few people express that I should be done painting! Well come and help if you care that much… 😉

But regardless it is getting done. What I call one coat of paint is actually two coats of paint. The wood is in very bad shape and soaking up the paint as fast as I put it on. So I call two coats one and the final coat of paint will look very nice…

Sweetpea thinks it looks fabulous…

I hope today, if the mosquitoes and horseflies and them damn deer-flies allow me to, get done trimming out the back walls completely. Then grab the roller and paint the last coat of paint….maybe by this weekend I will be done…

Next year I will paint Mom’s home and I told sweetpea to get with her mom and figure out what color they want everything. It is up to them, for I will (if not told) paint it white, with green trim and be happy. A white house is just home to me…

At first, I was unsure of the orange trim work and foundation….but yet it has become what is correct. The house draws people to take pictures of it as they come to the monastery and I feel it is just right for the color combination…

Not too much orange, yet accents it pretty good. I dunno!
