⚡️Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine

▫️An attempt by Zelensky regime to resume offensive in Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog and other directions has failed.

▫️During unsuccessful attacks on Arkhangelskoye, Olgino and Ternovye Pody, the enemy suffered heavy losses and was pushed back by Russian troops.
Battalion of 57th AFU Motorised Infantry Brigade has been defeated near Sukhoi Stavok. The elimination of its remnants is currently being completed.

▫️12 tanks supplied to the Kiev regime by Poland have been sent across the Ingulets River to unblock the Ukrainian armed forces’ units. Heavy fire from Russian troops destroyed some of the tanks. Several tanks blew themselves up on their own minefield in the course of a disorderly retreat. Only 5 Ukrainian tanks were able to make it back deep into AFU-controlled territory.

💥During two days of unsuccessful attacks in Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog and other directions, Ukrainian forces lost 4 combat aircraft: 2 Su-25s, 1 Su-24 and 1 MiG-29. 3 Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters have been shot down in the air.

💥Russian troops have destroyed 63 Ukrainian tanks, 59 infantry fighting vehicles, 48 other armoured fighting vehicles, 14 pick-ups with large-calibre machine guns and over 1,700 Ukrainian soldiers.

▫️The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.

💥High-precision weapons strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces on a temporary deployment point of units of 10th Mountain Assault Brigade near Druzhkovka in Donetsk People’s Republic have destoyed up to 50 nationalists and 9 pieces of military equipment.

💥Concentrated strike on command post and ammunition depot of 56th Motorized Infantry Brigade near Karlovka in Donetsk People’s Republic has destroyed more than 40 Ukrainian servicemen and 12 units of special vehicles.

💥Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery strikes continue against military facilities in Ukraine.

▫️10 AFU command posts near Pervomaiskoye, Dobryanka, Belousovo, Lozovoye, Novovorontsovka in Kherson Region, Zelenodolsk in Dnepropetrovsk Region, Artemovsk, Soledar, Zaitsevo and Mar’inka in Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as 65 artillery units and 153 areas manpower and military equipment concentrations have been hit.

▫️3 missile and artillery ammunition depots near Ukrainka in Kharkov Region, Cherkasy and Ivano-Daryevka in Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as 1 Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile launcher near Dobrovol’e in Dnepropetrovsk Region, have been destroyed.

💥Russian air defence means have shot down 7 unmanned aerial vehicles near Chaplinka in Kherson Region, Novoukrainka in Zaporozhye Region, Borshchovka, Perovomayskoye, Kapitolovka, Izyum and Kransnoye in Kharkov Region.

▫️In addition 57 shells of HIMARS, Olkha and Uragan multiple-launch rocket systems near Velikiye Kopani, Berislav in Kherson Region, Antonovsky Bridge and Kakhovskaya HPP have been intercepted.

📊In total, 280 Ukrainian airplanes and 151 helicopters, 1,844 unmanned aerial vehicles, 371 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,592 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 822 multiple launch rocket systems, 3,360 field artillery and mortars, as well as 5,155 units of special military vehicles were destroyed during the operation.

❗️Kiev regime continued provocations throughout August 30 aimed at disrupting the work of IAEA mission and threatening a man-made disaster at Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

▫️In course of shelling of the territory of the nuclear power plant by Ukrainian artillery, 1 shell hit the building of the solid radioactive waste processing complex.
The shelling was carried out from AFU’s firing positions near Nikopol’, located on the opposite bank of Kakhovka reservoir. The enemy artillery unit in the area was suppressed by return fire.

ℹ️ Radiation situation at Zaporozhye NPP remains normal. The staff monitors the technical condition of the nuclear power plant and ensures that it runs smoothly.

⚡️Russian Defence Ministry statement on threats of shelling of schools by AFU

❗️The Kiev regime continues its deliberate shelling of socially important facilities in Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics and other areas liberated from nationalists during the special military operation. Schools, hospitals, kindergartens and residential buildings have been hit.

▫️Long-range strike means supplied by the US and European countries have significantly increased the Kiev regime’s ability to launch criminal strikes against residential infrastructure and educational institutions with Western-made artillery and missile weapons.

▫️Such actions are a war crime and require the entire international community to take urgent measures to prevent the Kiev regime from shelling schools and killing children.

▫️On the eve of the new school year, we inform that 1,422 schools in Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, as well as in Zaporozhye, Kherson and Kharkov regions, will open their doors to 326,438 pupils on September 1, 2022.

▫️The Russian side implements a set of all necessary measures to protect educational institutions’ data from any threats.

▫️At the same time, for the unconditional safety of students and teachers, the Russian Ministry of Defence have sent to the UN, international humanitarian organisations and the Ukrainian leadership the addresses and exact location data of all schools starting on September 1, 2022 in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, as well as in Zaporozhye, Kherson and Lharkov regions.

▫️We demand that the United Nations and the entire international community take effective measures to prevent the shelling of schools by the Kiev regime and guarantee that these facilities and their surroundings are excluded from fire by the Ukrainian armed forces and other paramilitary groups.

⚡️Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine

▫️As a result of the defeat of the Ukrainian offensive on Zelensky’s personal orders in Nikolaev-Krivoi Rog and other directions, the enemy suffered significant losses.

💥 Effective actions of the Russian grouping of troops have destroyed 48 tanks, 46 infantry fighting vehicles, 37 other armoured fighting vehicles, 8 pick-up trucks with large-calibre machine guns and over 1,200 Ukrainian servicemen.

▫️During repel of the enemy offensive the Russian troops have defeated units of 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of AFU redeployed from western Ukraine.

▫️5 soldiers of this brigade laid down their arms and surrendered.

▫️The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.

💥 High-precision ground-based weapons near Aleksandrovka, Dnepropetrovsk Region, have hit a temporary deployment point and an ammunition depot of 1st Tank Brigade of AFU.

▫️More than 200 fighters, including about 40 foreign mercenaries, more than 20 armoured vehicles and a large quantity of artillery shells have been destroyed.

💥Concentrated strikes have been carried out near Konstantinovka in Donetsk People’s Republic against a temporary mercenary position of Foreign Legion formation as well as a command post of Kraken nationalist formation. The strikes have resulted in the destruction of over 100 militants and 7 units of military equipment.

💥In Krivoi Rog city in Dnepropetrovsk Region, Russian Aerospace Forces precision weapons have destroyed the production shops of the Intervzryvprom plant where explosives and other products for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were being manufactured.

💥Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery strikes continue against military facilities in Ukraine.

▫️5 command posts have been hit, including those of 108th and 65th Mechanized Brigades near Vodyanoye in Donetsk People’s Republic and Veselyanka in Zaporozhye Region, 35th and 36th brigades of AFU Marines near Nikolaev, a nationalist formation in Kharkov city, and 52 artillery units, 142 areas of manpower and and military equipment concentration.

▫️3 missile and artillery ammunition depots near Sarny in Rovnenskyi Region, Krivoi Rog in Dnepropetrovsk Region and Vernopol’e in Kharkov Region have been destroyed.

💥Russian air defence means have shot down 2 Su-25 airplane of Ukrainian air force near Krasnoye Znamya, Nikolaev Region.
5 UAVs have been also shot down near Valeriyanovka in Donetsk People’s Republic, Chubarevka in Zaporozhye Region, Kapitolovka, Izyum and Krasnoye in Kharkov Region.

▫️3 Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missiles, as well as 53 shells of multiple rocket launchers have been intercepted near Kherson, Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson Region, Antonivskyi Bridge and Kakhovskaya HPP. Including: 44 of HIMARS, 5 of Olkha and 4 of Uragan.

📊In total, 278 Ukrainian airplanes and 148 helicopters, 1,837 unmanned aerial vehicles, 370 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,539 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 822 multiple launch rocket systems, 3,357 field artillery and mortars, as well as 5,136 units of special military vehicles were destroyed during the operation.

▫️Kiev regime continues provocations to threaten a man-made nuclear disaster at Zaporozhye NPP.

▫️On August 29, Ukrainian troops used 4 strike drones at the nuclear power plant. All the drones were intercepted by Russian means. One of the drones fell on the roof of Special Building No 1, which stores US-made nuclear fuel and solid radioactive waste. Damage and casualties were avoided.

▫️In addition, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian artillery fired 2 shells into the territory of the nuclear power plant, which exploded near Special Building No 1. The shelling came from artillery positions of AFU near Marganets, Dnepropetrovsk Region. Russian Armed Forces artillery return fire have suppressed enemy firepower.

▫️Radiation situation at Zaporozhye NPP remains normal.
