The impetus of all these so called western self-professed experts and western think tanks is of course to indoctrinate people to prejudge with disgust anything Russia and Russian to make sure Russia never ascends as an corrival to the West and the western way of life. To be in equality with the west is a sin in western eyes. Just look at what is happening with China right now…
It is so easy to see (If you open your eyes.) through their (western powers) real scheme, but most western people have lost the convergence with education and lack the worldly experience to do so and most likely most others simply don’t give a hoot about anything but where their next shiny trinket comes from…
This is predominant on all levels of the Western Empire…
Maybe the west should embrace toga parties and mass orgies….it worked so well for the Roman Empire!
But upon biting into it, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was hot, flavorful, and more fresh-tasting than a typical Big Mac. At McDonald’s locations in the US, I enjoy the fries, but I usually find the burgers to be a bit tasteless. The Russian Big Mac seemed to have the same ingredients as its American counterpart— two beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and the signature Big Mac sauce — but it just tasted better.
I mowed completely Nikolai’s home and rebuilt the old screw on shutters into more or less permanent swinging shutters for the front two windows. I will build new shutters in the next few years, but the old revamped, will do for now. Nikolai would screw these on with a thousand screws and I am trying to repair the damage that was done with constant putting on and taking off of these covers…
So therefore, I took the old and added new and made actual shutters to cover the windows. They can be locked for when we are not there…
I wanted to keep the idea that he used to protect the home, but make it less invasive to the home with damage…
Mom’s home has finally gotten its new windows in complete. I have a touch more painting to do, but they look good. I am far from a woodworker, but I try and try to make things solid and reliable, if not ugly…
My work shed is looking good…
Oh my the plums are thick this year…
Mowed the grass and feeling blessed getting this home…
Today I need to travel to the Big Village and get stuff for me and some other villagers. Do not want to go, but since 99% of the villagers do not have a car, it is hard for them to get things out here in the boonies…
Poor Sammy the Volga has a leaking clutch slave cylinder and I was able to get the part the last time I was in town. I need to put it on when Svetochka gets here. I need someone to help me bleed the system. I am not able to bleed it by myself. So as I travel I have to use the clutch minimally and shift by “slip shifting” or “dead sticking”, I learned this method (also double clutching when appropriate per equipment) when very young on the farm…
Therefore other than stopping and starting, I get to town basically never touching the clutch pedal. Makes for interesting driving and the need to be more alert to get around, but it is fun and memories are fun to relive…
Too much Hollywood?Ukraine, not wanting to be left out of the loop in the latest trend of seizing tankers on the oceans of the world, has seized a Russian tanker, basically on hearsay…
Earlier, the Russian agency Interfax, citing an unnamed source, said there were about 15 sailors onboard the ship, all believed to be Russian citizens. Ukrainian prosecutors said about 10 crew members had been questioned.
Now this is going to be good for relations between Russia and Ukraine…
This incident triggered a thought in me…
Lately it seems that state run piracy is the latest capitalistic trend…
Iran tankers, British tankers, Russian tankers, tanker this and tanker that. Makes good distraction for the masses. Kinda like racism, sex crimes and many other sins of humans. Exploit stuff and keep people looking the other way and or try to start a war at the same time…
I guess can’t fight them, lets join them?
Piracy the new hot thing. Very much the late-capitalist style here!
Sealed the innside of the front door and the front porch again…
Rebuilt the rear door header completely…
Still allow air flow for damp weather times…
Sealed the work tool shed…
Rebuilt the barn door…
I am drawing up plans to stabilize the barn. Typical issue with these type of buildings. They are no different than a pole barn and the actual walls are non supporting in anyway…
It has been raining in the Tiny Russian Village, so I had to slow down yesterday. I read a book…
Today if the weather allows it, I will install fence posts in several places…
Before Sveta left, we had a big fat carp and we grilled it to deliciousness on the grill. Oh my it was so good…
Justa been working and Sveta has been in Moscow for the new baby…
Svetochka is now blessed with grand kid number two. So she hopped a train and has steamed back to Moscow to see the little tyke. A healthy baby girl was born and the mother had a slight bleeding issue, but is okay…
She was about 8 pounds when converted from kilos…
Svetochka has gone to see if she can help with the grandson, as dad deals with a mom in intensive care and a new born…
The Russian healthcare is amazing to watch at work with these births and they so far have always gone the extra kilometer to ensure that all involved are doing good…
Therefore, I am alone in the Tiny Russian Village again. It was fun while it lasted and now it is time to get all done I need to do. Winter is coming fast and it was downright cold this morning…
Life is interesting and it is amazing how life just keeps marching forward…
Well Russians are slow, but they finally start showing results, after two years. Remember that winters are long and hard and the ground is frozen, so digging holes is limited to a short time period…
Svetochka and I are going to sit back and watch how much of the Tiny Russian Village above us gets fenced off…
Svetochka said, “Maybe we need to install a tall privacy fence?”
Bear thought to himself, “Hmm, I think that entails lots of work…”
Bear said out loud, “Good idea!”
Fence it all off…
Need something? Want something?
Rain, snow, sleet or shine….the Babushka brigade will be ready and waiting to satisfy what ever material and or nutritional needs you have…
These ladies sell everything, from cigarettes to apples….and maybe some things you need to be more discrete about….like moonshine…
