Windows to Russia
I walk everywhere. It is safe and wonderful. So far I can not find all the horrors that are presented in the western media about Russia. The people are nice, the kids are never eaten, they like Americans, you can walk anywhere and something very important….people help each other all the time…
This is in a Tiny Russian Village and or the humongous city of Moscow…
Russia is doing very well and the people are happy. Well as happy as a bunch of introverts can express happiness… 😉

Again the Russian stories are back to lies and more lies…
I received this comment and received hundreds more yesterday. They are caught in my bot (automated production) comment filter. They are all over the internet, in the same form. News sites, blogs and whatever gets these automated comments…

Forget North Korea, Russia is the most dangerous nation on earth because it’s dying. This dying has led to Russians eating and consuming their own children. Just like North Korea and Venezuela does. Putin has stashed 1.5 trillion dollars and his comrades are so poor that they stand in lines for bread days at a time. This is all fact from UN and WHO files on Russia. Russia must be destroyed before it destroys us!
This is a typical comment received and it is found in the bot file area. That is because my system asks and blocks simply efficiently: Anti-spam plugin blocks 100% of automatic spam messages (sent by spam-bots via post requests). It does not block anything manually entered by hand and thus an occasional Spam gets through…
But when I desire, I can see what is being attacked and some of the comments are very sick…
It is a sign of a sick society that is allowing billions of dollars to be spent on propaganda and attack other countries with lies. Grab a comment sometime, a comment that you see as being seriously ignorant and you most likely will find it plastered all over the internet. A real good example is a bot called BritBob….
Argentina and the Falklands: is his favorite subject and he cuts and pastes on at least twelve sites I have seen. I get them on WtR all the time and they are bot driven…It also functions in many languages, such as Russian, English, Spanish and so on…
They are destroying our internet and hoping you a real person, will go away…

Internet off one of the days and just plain lazy the other days. Thus, I did not post. Yesterday, Svetochka and I walked and walked and walked….holidays are over…
We walked to the church I found and the new housing district of thousands of units. Going to be a huge place one day when it fills up. We also found a five denomination church section….Baptist and whatnots…
The building above is part of a large section of fenced off area and in it are five churches. One is even, The Divinity Church…. I have showed this picture before. I was wondering what it was about?
Near it is the Orthodox church I have talked about. So we have a churchy area nearby…
Going to take it easy today. I am feeling rough. The weather is changing like the breeze blowing today and it will get cold again in a few days. Just -10 this morning and is plain warm, but soon it will be looking at -20 again…
That is Russia for you. Middle of March, snowing and blowing frigid cold…,it is one reason why I love Russia…
The new housing is huge and goes on and on and on. It has a beautiful walking type many lights boulevard and this summer it would be perfect to walk around. It is about a kilometers one way. It is really amazing and would be a wonderful place to live, if we did not have such a wonderful place now to live. 😉
Lots of moms and dads pushing babies/kids in strollers, sleds and or dads carrying their kids on their shoulders.. Children running everywhere without any need for supervision and that is another reason I love Russia…

March 8th, International Women’s Day…
Just as in the rest of the world, you must know which holidays are important in the country that you live in. Because what is important in one country does not mean “Jack Squat” in the country that you may preside at the time…
However, there is also a special day for women in Russia and I suggest that you do not miss this day for that Russian woman, even if she is no longer living in Russia! It is called International Women’s Day—which is celebrated in the first month of spring on March 8th. One might associate March 8th in Russia with Mother’s Day in the West, although the Russian holiday celebrates all women, including mothers, grandmothers, daughters, and girlfriends and just plain any girls that you may know. The importance is the difference between life and death for Russian men…
Now you know the real reason for Russian men having a short life span… 🙂
Cut Flowers is the main gift, followed very close by and usually accompanied by Chocolates!
Chocolates is another interesting issue in Russia and just buying a Snickers, Mars Bar, American candy bar or any chocolate but the best chocolate, will get you in trouble…
That is: just a Hershey’s bar is not going to do it! Russian women know their chocolates and you better know yours also, as they will rate you on your ability to purchase the correct chocolates. Chocolate has to be the correct percent of chocolate and the correct percent of bitterness and the correct percent of sugar. Every woman has her favorite and you better know that brand…
I was worried at New Years once a few years ago, as I had bought Sveta’s mom a different brand of chocolate than what I should have. I insisted to give her this chocolate. I knew it was good and that was my decision. Sveta was tisk tisk tisking me, but she went ahead and gave it to her mom. I found out a few weeks later that her mom really liked the chocolates that I gave her and that made my life better…
Sveta’s mom is the most wonderful mother in-law that any guy could have…
I am lucky with Sveta: She does not want chocolates due to too many calories and she dislikes cut flowers as they serve no purpose in life, except to wilt and die….thus a sweet potato pie is her choice….but I thought calories are important to think about… 😉
Now Misha, Sveta’s son has the opposite issue. His girlfriend (now wife) loves cut flowers and for Xmas/New Year she got 101 roses. I said, “Oops now he is in trouble! He should have worked up slowly as he now has to give that many or more every time, or he looks like a bum!”
Please have a great upcoming March 8th and even if you do not have an Eastern and as in my case a Russian woman in your life. Remember that this is International Women’s Day and that means even your woman in the western world needs to get a box of chocolates or a whatnot…

Pushing 13,000 steps this morning. Blood sugar at 6.1 when I got home and heart rate at 75 bpm….now time to write…
I ate at Globus and Globus was a madhouse this morning. Tomorrow is International Womens day and in Russia that is one holiday that you better not forget…
March 8th in Russia is Very Important! (International Women’s Day)
I am warning guys in the world to get it together. This is one important day and from what I saw at Globus, scores of guys were shopping for all the women at their jobs. Torts (cakes & pies) were going out by the shopping cart full…. Who says that only men are able to be enticed by their stomachs?
Chocolate bars (lets add “real chocolate”, not milk chocolate,) cards, torts, stuffed animals and flowers and flowers and flowers. Did I say flowers…
Four and five guys at a time arguing over what to get. These guys had shopping carts just cram packed with goodies….This is truly the holiday that women rule…
I will get up early tomorrow and bake a “Sweet Potato Pie.” That is all that Svetochka wants and by-golly, that is what she will get. I will have it baking as she gets up and she will have hot fresh pie to go to work on….going to smell so good…
One group of guys were buying hundreds of flowers sets for their women at work. Globus had lots of people running flowers to all the stations and they could not keep up. Globus had all the registers running and it looked like Christmas shopping going on, except mainly men…
You could sense the fear in the air. The fear at not doing enough to satisfy the rulers of Russia…
Yes the women rule Russia to be truthful… 😉

Well Russia is killing spies again, well at least according to the fake news from Britain. They have no evidence and it is very unlikely they will have evidence, but that does not stop the media and politicians in the EU from dancing to the tune of “Russia did it!”
The Russia did it whining, without any evidence is becoming a sickness of the western mentality, and too commodious, for the faltering west. It seems that Russia has outwitted the west on several escapades, and is showing up the (if you can call them leaders) western leaders, for what they really are; a juxtaposition of persona. So, the anti-Putin besmirching campaign continues. Its all rather formulaic, and piteous. Very unbecoming of civilized nations in the modern world…

Looks like I am going to have to get scheduled for an MRI. I need to verify that my brain tumor is still under control. I fought a year plus long battle against a brain tumor many years ago and it is time to see if all is good. Lets hope…
Got home from walking and my blood sugar is at 5.8 mmol/l, that is perfect and I am very thankful. I walked almost 10,000 steps, ate at Globus and enjoyed life, watching the mothers dragging the kids to school by sled, feet and literal dragging them. It was -20 when I got up and for some reasons some kids get grouchy at this temperature! 😉
Svetochka said someone told her that workers had been stolen from us outer cities and taken to Moscow to clean up the big city yesterday. I kind of disagreed and yet today I am seeing a doubling of the workers in our city, cleaning up everything. So I admit she was right. I guess it makes sense? Moscow is the hub of Russia and it has been snowing like crazy. Unless you live up north like Moscow is, you can not fathom about what to do with enough snow to equivalence to a blanket 10 feet deep over the whole city and it never, but never goes away. Unless you scoop it up and truck it away. It has to go somewhere and it never melts…

I am going to talk about diabetes again…
I cannot say enough. Too many people loose limbs to the disease and there is no reason except, not caring enough about yourself. I have walked off over three kilos in the last few weeks. I have cut my sugar pills (as I call them) and try to eat proper. One thing to get under control is pasta, rice, potatoes and or those wonderful and delicious starchy treats of life. I would take an order of fried potatoes any day over a candy bar, but the repercussions of doing so is detrimental to my health. You are no different than I am and you gotta stop those creamy mash potatoes with gravely on top of them. Also stop eating bread. It will kill you, if you are diabetic like I am…
Eat starches in very modest moderation. That order of french fries will kick your ass for days…
Try Tofu… (I bought a pack today!)
I can eat it at supper and not wake up with that diabetic coma feeling…

USA is shipping natural gas and leaving itself short on the substance, just as with oil and gasoline. the UK just plain does not have enough storage and Russia keeps helping out. Yes I realize they sell it, but seriously, would you buy and or sell something to people who treated you like dirt and wiped their feet on you?

I walked around the church and I have to take my sweet Pea there. Air is fresh, new snow, about a foot added to the past accumulation and schools are in session. Looks like no melting until April, Oh Well!
Walking is so wonderful, even if it is cold and snowy…
