Old Man Winter woke up…

What a night! The winter storm blew the power out all night, the drifts got bigger and bigger, and the world was coated again in fresh white. It was wonderful and I kept the stove going all night and Sveta slept as snug as a bug in a rug…

This morning we found this all around…

The moon was wonderful, the sun came up and was so warm and then along comes Old Man Winter and he is trying to snow on our parade again…

Getting ready to start splitting…

I got the internet going again, after last night. The wind was the worse I have ever seen here and I have been through tornadoes here. It looks like a piece of limb or wood, was thrown through the air and sliced the antennae cable in half. Cut as clean as if a knife did it. I found a board nearby, stuck in the snow and I think that is the culprit…

So with a bit of finagling and such, I got internet going strong again and all is happy…

Time to go move a ton of wood again…

Svetochka attacked the fish I steamed…

CaptureYesterday I said that it would be fish day and it was fish day. I cooked a big carp, with carrots, cabbage, onions and spices. Then used my double boiler, I have created and steamed that assembly of food until tender and delicious. I knew it would be good, but never dreamed that Sveta would attack the meal the way she did. All I heard was ooh and aah and the last I saw, the whole pan was empty and I had a very happy girl…

I took some bites, but could not resist watching her eat the meal. The whole meal and it was obvious that she needed a meal like this and needed it yesterday…

Sometimes we crave something and I knew that Svetochka loves fish and like all Russians; Loves Carp…

I know how to cook it and I took my time and made it perfect. This is why living at the Tiny Russian Village is so important. The food is fresh and real, the air is pure, our health becomes excellent and life is gentle and pleasant; even as the elements abuse you in their fury, life is good for you…

As all true cooks, I smiled and was satisfied inside, as I watched Sveta enjoy her fish to the utmost…

paper-coffee-cup-128x128I received another donation and it was also to be put toward a 4×4 truck. I have been surprised at the readers that read the article where I talked about Vova’s 4×4 sitting at his home. The 4×4 is old, but good and the real reason Vova does not like it anymore is because; it does not attract girls!

I decided that Vova is going through his male change of life and here in the village, you definitely do not get a Corvette, you get a 4×4 and a nice one at that. That gets girls, in a place that a Corvette would look stupid as it flounders in an inch of snow and ice…

Therefore, I give thanks for the donation and yes it will be used to get a 4×4. I know that Vova is in need of serious money and he has no love for the old truck. Thus the truck will sit there and rot before it moves again. That would be a shame…

Thanks again…

Just could not move all the logs cut yesterday. I just could not do it and will most likely not do it until a few more days have passed. I want to spend time with Sveta, for she leaves tomorrow and that makes me sad. Sveta is the best girl in the world and when she is here, I spend time with her…

We walked for several hours yesterday and that made her happy… (Plus Fish!)

I am going to finish my coffee and walk Boza. He is giving me those puppy dog eyes and sighs of waiting patiently, but not too patiently and wants to go out. Sveta is sleeping and it finally has gotten light outside…

So everyone have a good day…

Sometimes you wonder…

Sometimes you simply wonder, does it ever end?
Sometimes you just get tired of digging snow for months at a time…
Sometimes you get grouchy…

Sometimes the endless does end; for sometimes nature gives you hope; The forest is showing the ground around the trees and gives that light at the end of the tunnel a real meaning…

But all the time you smile at the wonderful life in the Tiny Russian Village…

Have a nice day, for spring is here and the snow is melting!

Yippy…

Fish Sunday…

Spring is here…

The lakes are being filled as you read this. That will take about a month to accomplish and we already have fish to eat. They sell the fish for 138 rubles a kilo, but as always we get it free. Sometimes in the summer I see so many fish that I am tired of cleaning them. But they are a great source of protein and good for us to eat. This Saturday started the fish cleaning for the new year 2016…

20160220_105324Here left is Boza waiting for a fish head. When I clean fish, you can just feel the eyes burning holes in you as I work on the fish… 😉

As I said last summer, Boza just loves fish heads and yesterday he got two heads to eat. Now that was one happy dog…

20160220_112550

Therefore today, Svetochka and I will eat some pan fried carp and it is going to be delicious…

-15 this morning and we call it spring! But it really is, you can just feel the difference and everyday, the snow disappears a little more. The world is slowly appearing, the world that you began to wonder if it was lost forever to a white blanket and never to surface again…

I want to post a thank you for several new donations and two of them in particular was for getting a weather station for the Tiny Russian Village. We got it and now after the snow clears away enough, I will put it together and we will have accurate weather readings from the village I live in…

It runs 8400 rubles and it will allow me to have even a connection to the computer to keep records of the weather here. I am excited and being paid for by several readers makes it very special indeed…

I found another donation this morning, made yesterday and I want to thank them for that donation. Thanks everyone and have a great day…

Vova and I cutting up the Oak Trees…

20160220_152831

Vova got his beast of a chainsaw fired up and he came down to cut up the oak trees brought in before winter. We got half of them cut up and the rest are still buried deep in the snow. Tomorrow, I will make a place to put the logs to get ready to split them. This is next years firewood for the winter and from the looks of it, we have about two winters worth here. But I suspect that Vova will get his share and I am hoping he will get a better supply of this good seasoned oak this next year, for the winter, for himself…

I need to cut a short path for the wheelbarrow and then figure out where to stack the splitting logs. Still kind of a bunch of snow, as you can see… 🙂

Spring is here and the sun felt so good today. Svetochka took pictures while we grunted and groaned at the heaviness of the trees. As you see we used a smaller tree to pry the big trees out of the snow and I held them, as Vova used his saw. I was impressed with that saw, it is named, “Дружба” or Friendship! That is what is stamped in the steel of the engine case and it is an old Soviet Union chain saw…

Just another day in the Tiny Russian Village…

Sveta taking pictures…

Sveta took a bunch of images yesterday. Her camera is a Samsung Smartphone, one of those Zoom Phones and it works in just about any temperature. Thus she is running around and she is getting me grouchy and taking images, even if I do not see her taking them and by taking so many images of me! 😉

Svetochka takes great pictures, I just wish I could take nice ones like her. She has a touch for finding the right spot. I just take a picture and go, she stands for ten minutes and finds what she wants to take an image of…

Sveta is a Sweetie Pie and it is so wonderful to have her in the village…

Coffee = life...
Coffee = life…

It looks like maybe, I will be able to get the Volga out by the end of this next week. If the sun continues to shine and the temperature rises? Then out we will go and be able to get to the Big Village. Sveta is leaving Tuesday of next week and it seems that warmth is coming. I also have to plan a trip out of Russia and most likely will do that sometime at the end of march. Looks like business dictates a trip and hopefully the last trip to Ukraine. We will see, for I do not trust Ukraine anymore…

It is planned that by the next two years, that I will have citizenship in Russia and that will be a blessing of many types. It is a shame I am not some famous person, for they seem to get Russian passports left and right; and here is someone (me) who really loves Russia for who, what and where Russia is and I could no more get a instant passport than fly to the moon…

Hey Putin, I am over here!

* * * * * * * * * *

Time to see if Svetochka is up. She is making little noises and Boza is next to her watching her. Looks like soon she will gather herself back to the living and that means I must go and think about breakfast and more coffee…

Rob Peter to pay Paul? Then some coffee thoughts…

CaptureLast night I paid domain money issues due for this mess that has been created for and called Windows to Russia or known as WtR. At one time I was able to pay extremely cheap USA based hosting and that started with places like GoDaddy, HostGator and several others in North American based hosting. Then I tried India, Europe, Russia and several other countries. This all accounted to lots of money being spent for no reason and I even had to move domains and all, out of the clutches of the U.S.A.’s reach…

In fact all my troubles started when I was noticed and singled out on Blogger Blogspot. I had thousands of articles and it was all free for me to write and write and write, like millions of others do and they never have issues, for they love sock monkeys and are good little boys and girls. That started the onslaught of attacks by the US government and they have never stopped since. That is what I get for being a bad boy…

But lets get back to last night; as I meander around in memories!

Last night for the first time ever, I was able to officially pay for domains, fees and hosting for WtR and I did not have to “Rob Peter to Pay Paul!” It was an unbelievable feeling and almost made me cry, when I realized that after all these years, that WtR finally paid for itself and that really is all I wanted to start with…

Windows to Russia started on kylekeeton.com and after a few years I decided to put it on its own domain and bought windowstorussia.com; that was a mistake and Google hated me after that. Thus, Google has finally forgiven me and now WtR is growing again. Google does not appreciate too many and too much chaos on your site and after the attacks started, that sealed my come back issues and sat WtR in a deep hole to dig out of for many years. I never gave up and never stopped. I stood by this site, while other sites have come and gone and other sites are now in the dust bin of death. WtR has stood against the time and survived, albeit weakened and saddened, but still functioning…

Thus, I want to thank everyone who donated. The fact that I did not have to take from a food budget, or utilities budget to pay for WtR is a miracle and blessing. Yes, I still have money for other projects that was sent to me also and I promised and mean it, that, that money will go to what they sent me money for. One day they will see the fruits of their labor right here on WtR, as I post about such deals and stuffs… 😉

Robbing Peter to Pay Paul; Kinda sucks…

* * * * * * * * * *

I have put a weather widget on the sidebar of WtR and it shows about what it is weather wise in a nearby village. The village is called Paniki and it is just out of sight from our village…

It is winter still in the Tiny Russian Village…

Svetochka took a picture of my favorite tree. I am really happy and this image is a true illusion, that tree is over half a kilometer from the bell tower area. I like it…

We made it to the Big village yesterday and restocked on food and such. Down to the last roll of toilet paper if that tells you anything! now we are stocked and fat, happy and sassy. The stores were busy, the people everywhere and the businesses thriving. Russians are tough and the fact that the US and EU are trying to sway Russians to believe in their lies and ways of life is really a sad state of affairs in the world. Illegal sanctions are nothing new by the west, but that does not make it correct: Does it? I would rather die than to go back to the western immorality of my soul. I will keep my soul happy and keep it away from the west…

Defender of the Fatherland Day is a Russian holiday on February 23, 2016! This is the day that Sveta leaves the village and Vova has already determined that he will be drunk and I will have to drive his Niva to get Sveta to the train station. Yesterday, Vova bought three liters of Moonshine and I realized that if I made moonshine, I would be a rich boy here in Russia. Actually, that is an idea… 😉

Therefore, Vova has his medicine to have a wonderful day on the 23rd of Feb. Very strong high proof moonshine will make him wish for medicine the next day on the 24th, I am positive…

Have a nice day…

Boza and I…

boza and kyle

Sveta keeps taking pictures of Boza and I. Every time we turn around, look up and or look at Sveta, we have our picture taken. I also get a bunch taken behind my back… 😉

So now you can see the grouch and Boza the wonder dog…

Boza finally found and dug up his favorite ball. Boza and his ball is a special thing and he plays ball all spring, summer and fall. Winter buried it and it was hidden from sight…

Now we have a dancing, prancing and happy dog…

Obama the King of Puppets or just plain doltish…

I think Obama has either lost his mental functions or he is so crushed under as a puppet that when he says things like these quotes yesterday. Either way he is mentally impaired…

Coffee-icon“If somebody’s strong, then you don’t have to send in your army to prop up your ally,” President Barack Obama said on Tuesday, taking a break from the ASEAN summit in California to speak to the press about the US Supreme Court and the Syrian crisis.

“They have legitimacy in their country, and they are able to manage it themselves, and then you have good relations with them,” Obama added. “You send in your army when the horse you’re backing isn’t effective.”

Then as I read these things he said and look at how allies of the US are weak and inefficient and look at how the US has worked years to destroy Syria. I realize that if anyone is bought and paid for to say the things the higher ups want said, then Obama is that man. But maybe he is just plain doltish and if you think about it. Either way he is a controlled puppet…

Think about the slam he just made against Japan, South Korea, Germany, and dozens of other countries, where the US has huge military forces and bases. I guess, “If somebody’s strong, then you don’t have to send in your army to prop up your ally,” only applies to Russian allies?

Land of Chaos strikes again…

imagesThe U.S. is always in a turmoil, it has the uncanny ability to slither from one upsetting chaotic untruth type issue to another, just as a snake seems to be able to transverse a tree full of leaves and you never see it coming, until the last second. And the death of Judge Scalia is another in a long list of intentional screw-ups to keep the public dancing to a tune, that is better than the actual song of demise that is playing behind the scenes…

Presidio County judge Cinderela Guevara, a local justice of the peace, told the Associated Press that she declared the 79-year-old dead of “natural causes” without seeing the body herself, having “consulted with Scalia’s personal physician and sheriff’s investigators, who said there were no signs of foul play.”

and this…

“We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled,” said Poindexter.

and this…

Sorry no more, it is just that there is a dozen or more truths flying around in the wind…

I do know as with Bin Laden and his burial at sea. The fact that they do not perform an autopsy on Scalia is all the reason for me to understand that there is more to this than we will ever know. He was old (79) and he should die, as he was old. I only hope I make it that far in years. But the bottom line is; Our system, government and others have made this to be more than what it is…

One minute we have a death announced and no one really sees the body, except close personal doctors, a sheriff type and some friends. We then have a pillow on his head, on his face, then it becomes above his head and I just heard, under his head, now. We have we have we have…

This to me is simply an old man died, but being a “Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States,” don’t you think that we could handle this in a way to stifle such run amok, crazy and loony crude that everyone and their brother wants to spout about?

Lets say as in Bin Laden we had given proper data about his death and let the world see that we did kill the demon that we proclaimed terrorized America and the rest of the world. Maybe no one would have any questions about Bin Laden and his death…

Now we have what most likely is an old man dying, we do that you know? Die at old age. You will die and I will die, we all will die, unless we found the key to immortality. I doubt that though, thus we die…

So lets say we be truthful and upfront and do an autopsy as they would do to you, when they find our body laying in bed stiff as a board. They determine death! In the case of a man who is one of the most powerful men in the USA, it seems prudent to have an autopsy to determine if, by some accident, there is foul play and in the same stroke of being thorough, we will stifle conspiratorial issues that are unnecessary…

But instead, we fan the flames of uncertainty, we light fires under the facts and we allow the games to commence and we use them to cover up important issues…

As in the case with Bin Laden; we do not see the body of the most notorious terrorists on the face of the planet. The man who single offhandedly, according to the news, brought down the twin towers on 9-11. The man who was a super-god of terrorists, is not even brought before the adoring public to witness the final resting place of such a magnanimous man to all terrorists on earth…

Scalia deserves to have the truth about his death known. But alas, as in Kennedy, Bin laden and a thousand more. We most likely will have to settled on all the expert opinions of the “he did it, she did it” theorist and make a Hollywood movie out of it sometime in the near future…

And that is exactly what our governmental services want you all to do. For then the truth is never necessary and or even needed by the masses. Thus chaos rules again…

So please, do not demand truth of what really happened. For the games are so much more fun to play and besides the truth means that someone is correct and someone is wrong and neither side wants to be the one wrong…
