Cup of Chicory and some Monday Thinking’s in Russia…

My chicory this morning was great and I am glad that I finally have switched. I seem to feel better all day long and I am able to drink multiple cups all day. No caffeine is the plus factor and if you study the drink chicory you will find it is a beneficial drink: Although the medical usages of this herb are numerous, Chicory is known for the fact that it’s considered an excellent coffee substitute. Moreover it contains insulin – a substance from the saccharoids group, very useful for transforming the non-alimentary substances into biodegradable ones.  Read More >>>

Enough about that. I like it because it taste good and after a few weeks I have adapted to it. It is kinda like when you try to switch from Coke to diet coke. Once you get the new flavor in your system and head then the old flavor is not the same anymore. I use a little more milk than I did with coffee but that is okay because most of the time, that is the only milk that I drink anymore…

Several things that makes even more sense is that it costs so much less than coffee does and is much more water soluble than coffee. Other words 100 grams of chicory versus 100 grams of coffee, chicory wins all the way around… (unless caffeine is all you want!)

Well the same thinking’s are going on with or without coffee and chicory seems to do the job as well as coffee…

Today it was hard not to be thinking about what is happening in Libya. NATO went on a huge over the top bombing spree to help the rebels get into Tripoli. As predicted NATO (not the rebels) wins but not until almost 6 months, many thousands dead and billions spent. Besides after Qaddafi falls the fun really begins. (Just watch and listen!) Besides it is not over yet and there is so much miss information from the West that you really do not know what to think or do and it looks like someone forgot to tell Gaddafi it is over…

I find it sad that we as a Western world are celebrating his downfall (Just like Osama bin Laden) and ignore all the deaths of innocent people and the destruction of so many important landmarks to get to that point. Same in Iraq, same in Afghanistan and the same in a dozen more places over the years. As I have said from the start it was all wrong and all done for the wrong reasons. (Just like Osama bin Laden) But people seem to not care about right and wrong, they just care about the end result. The damage on the way to the end result is just called collateral damage…

Sveta and I are going to the village and spend a few weeks. I will post from the village as we now have the means and way. I am going to quit worrying about the world for awhile. It is time to look at Russia and her villages. We will be able to spend two Sundays in the village and that means we get to shop at the wonderful village market that is set up every Sunday. I plan on getting some pictures of the market this time due to the fact that I got my android camera phone going good again. It is so cool how they do these markets in the Russian villages. They take the whole main street and line it with booths from vendors. They sell anything from shoes to car parts… 🙂

I also get to spend time working on the car and I have my bottle of wax to give her a good wax job before Winter hits and believe me Winter is right on the door step as I write this article…

One last thinking: Internet Comment Trolls Suck and they really need to find something else to do. Spam and trolls are the scourge of the WWW…
