It is how long I will live?
I tip the scales at 185 pounds!
At my worst moment in life, I was around 355 pounds or 160 kilos and right now I am basically 83 to 84 kilos or about 185 pounds. That means I have lost, give or take a pound or two, 170 pounds!
I have basically lost half my weight that I carried at one time. And yes, I do not miss that other guy. He was Fat as a Pig…
A whole me that no longer is on my back and I have to carry around to work and play all day…

Now it is reassess time. I have done what I had to do and yet I still am fat in areas and that may not ever change. I am struggling with what weight should I allow myself to get down to?
80 kilos is 175 pounds, give or take pounds. This kilo to pounds things is not an exact science in my eyes. Kilos sound so much less, but there is about 2.20462 pounds per kilo. Not exactly an easy instant conversion. So dropping 5 kilos is a whole bunch different than dropping 5 pounds as we do in the USA. That 10 pound drop for that summer bikini time is nothing. If you dropped 10 kilos (22 pounds)? Then you find that the numbers look more disheartening…
Since I know I am not 6’3″ anymore due to getting old and grouchy. I suspect I am more at 6’1″ now. Age does that and I will not get back that youthful height…
So what does my weight need to be at 6’1″? (Reality time!)

166/202 lb – Male

Regardless of height, I now fall into the safe category of weight and fat levels, muscle mass and whatnot’s are all in line, basically. That is the health issue that I want maintained…
At my bone structure? 75 kilos will be too thin and 85 kilos is to fat. So to reach 80 kilos may be the answer? For me?
I watched my dad at 50 years old try to crash course weight loss. It was to fast, to late and he did not make it. Died at 50. Too young. I learn from mistakes, even if they are not my own. For me this has been years of work and now I have to look at the reality that I cannot lose weight forever. I may always be working at staying at a certain weight, but I have to figure out the balance. that is the key, how do I switch this mindset of being a fat pig to staying stable and being just a grumpy bear?
My grandfather Stroud and I have said this before, was exactly whom I take after. He weighed around mid 300 pounds in youth and went to 175 pounds in his older age. That is exactly what I have done and the question I get asked is how did I do it?
The answer: We are what we eat!
That means that we have whole generations of humans in the world that are Fat Pigs and we as a society have promoted being Fat Pigs…
So simple: Eat like a pig? Look like a pig!
