All the Japanese living in the USA during the Second World War, most of whom were actual citizens and had been Americans for many years if not multiple generations were removed from society and interned in isolation camps within the USA and all criminal recourse by the Japanese found that the American courts chose the government process and not the legal Japanese residents. Thus, they were interned and kept locked away. I do not recall any German citizens living in the USA at the time, being put into camps and such…
If and when Washington declares actual war with Russia, do you want to take any bets how long before the Russian Americans, some citizens, some residents, will last walking around free before being rounded up based on the ugly demonization going on there now?
