M.V. Zakharova on the Western, “Failed money for failed state, in a word.”

In the world of cryptocurrencies and digital finance, an event comparable to the collapse of the Titanic recently occurred – the largest crypto exchange FTX went bankrupt. At first glance, it may seem that this event has nothing to do with the political agenda, if not for one “but”.

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has raised hundreds of millions of dollars through his financial mechanisms since March of this year to help Ukraine. Thanks to his cooperation with the “Ministry of Digital Transformation” of Ukraine, a special mechanism was created to transfer funds from different parts of our planet.

Thousands and thousands of people from all over the world have been donating for months, believing that they are helping Ukraine, but in fact they were pouring them into the black hole of a cryptocurrency corruption financial pyramid.

The investigation is underway, all the details are still unclear, perhaps one of the largest cyber fraud scams in the entire existence of digital means of payment. The story was recently unearthed by journalists from the Austrian Exxpress, but for some reason it was quickly hushed up, and there is almost no mention of the “Ukrainian trace” in the collapse of the cryptocurrency giant in the Western press.

Symbolically, the imaginary currency that IT scammers turned real money into is a perfect metaphor for the imaginary power that the Zelenskiy regime seeks to impose on Ukrainians.

Failed money for failed state, in a word.

Against this background, the decision, prepared in advance and announced today, to declare Zelensky the person of the year according to the Financial Times, turned into tough trolling. The motivation is disarming with an undisguised mockery of common sense: “The President of Ukraine has become the flagship of the democratic world in the global struggle against authoritarianism, which may determine the course of this century.”

By the way, it is possible that the Grain from Ukraine program will result in the same result as the collection of cyber funds to help the “flagships of the democratic world” – money laundering and the collapse of investors.
