S-300 missile systems: Quote of the Day…

S-300 missile systems: Why it was just a few days ago that the western media word was out and about that, “Israel talked Russia out of delivering the S-300 missile systems.” Now Russia made sure to counteract the wishful thinking’s of the western world…

“We think this delivery (S-300 missile systems) is a stabilizing factor and that such steps in many ways restrain some “hotheads” from exploring scenarios in which this conflict could be given an international character with participation of outside forces,” said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov…

Other words: It has been proven that if the deterrent is not at a high enough level, then the West will destroy a country to produce the results that they want to happen. Or to gather resources to enable the western war machine to fuel its weapons…

I think it is time that Russia, China plus Iran get together and draw that red line deep in the sand. Make the West think twice before they jump that Rubicon river again…

Gazprom: The Dollar Deal with Kyrgyzstan

gazpromGazprom from Russia:

They say that a dollar does not buy much these days, but I have a gaz (gas) deal for you and it cost a dollar. Now of course there is stipulations that go with that dollar and one of them is that Gazprom will invest $640,000,000 in the next five years to build up the gas infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan. It seems that even with all the gas that Kyrgyzstan has under the ground, none of it is available to the country herself, as it imports all gas needed and Russia’s Gazprom will change that…

The understanding that I get from all this is that Kyrgyzstan needs 500 million cubic meters of gas a year and that will be supplied by Gazprom free of charge. Well not free, Gazprom gets the rest of the gas and sells it to the world. Seems to be a win win deal for both sides and Kyrgyzstan needs energy security, Gazprom will supply that and more…

Putin made this deal late last year and Kyrgyzstan has just now finalized it…

It is how deals are suppose to be done in the world and it helps both parties involved. Belarus has seen the light of cooperation and I am now seeing Ukraine waking up to the fact that cooperation gets much lower gas prices. I also see a world waking up to the fact that countries have to create their own financial, social and military aspects and use these new tools to help protect each other against bully countries that want to steal resources…

Lets hope that the world survives long enough to implement the new system and stop the spread of the false western democracy in its tracks. For if we do not put an end to the cancer, it will be terminal…

Memorial Day: Silence is the best way…

Memorial DayMemorial Day: I sipped that cup of coffee here in Russia and did some thinking’s about Memorial day. The day has several meanings to me and none of them are good. My dad was in Korea, several of my uncles in WW2, Grandpa in WW1 and then me in (Don’t want to talk about it! Silence!)…

I studied the comments all over the world coming from America about this holiday. It is either pretty hateful or very ignorant from what I am seeing and no one, but no one has a real grasp on what memorial day is really about. I see either 49% charge head long into worship of the dead soldiers or 49% worship the BBQ grill, cases of beer and a three day weekend. The 2% left over understand what is really going on… (Silence is best!)

I looked at a photo album of pictures of me and my friends, guys who have all been dead a long time now. They never made it back and they all died because we sent them to fight a war that was a lie… (Silence)

Memorial Day – Let me tell you a  story:

I was shot in the back, upper right shoulder. It was a spent bullet and had just enough oomph to embedded itself into my shoulder, with half of it sticking out. The doc at the time was named Stitches and he laughed at me and said, “Bet you think this is a million dollar wound? Nope sorry, it is a buck ninety five…” Then with that he took a pair of regular pliers and yanked that bullet out. Cleaned it up, dumped sulfur on the wound, finally stitched it up and wrapped my shoulder up. Then slapped me on the bad shoulder and said, “Go kill someone for shooting you!”

Two days later, I was holding a dirty muddy cloth against a chest wound, pumping out blood from a heart that had been hit with shrapnel, on that same doctor Stiches and as he died – he grinned and said, “Now that is a million dollar wound!”

I have a large lump where the bullet hit me and everyday it reminds me of life and how “easy come, easy go” life is…

Now that is a Memorial Day…

Have a safe holiday…

Recipe: Cottage Cheese Salad: from Russia.

Recipe_russian-saladIt is summer and it is also time for a cold salad recipe. In Russia cottage cheese is very abundant and very popular. Cottage cheese in Russia would be better termed “Tvorog” and is ideal for making a salad with. No excess moisture and delicious in flavor…

So as usual there is a million versions of any recipe made in Russia and since tomatoes -n- peppers are plentiful right now in Russia, lets make a salad that is healthy and delicious at the same time…

Ingredients for Recipe:

Tomatoes – 2 medium
Olives – 2-3 Tbs
Sweet red or yellow pepper- 1 each (or some of both)
Dill weed, parsley- to taste
Salt – to taste
pepper – taste (Russians are not big ground pepper eaters, but I am :))
Cottage cheese – 3 Tbs

Preparation of Recipe:

Slice tomatoes and olives. Cut sweet pepper into small cubes. Finely chop dill and parsley.
Mix all with cottage cheese and add salt/pepper to taste. Decorate the Cottage Cheese Salad with olives on top…

Thoughts:

Use any type of raw vegetables that you want. It is really a very simple recipe and as most Russian recipes, it is rich in flavor and protein. Russian usually make this salad at the cook out as it is that easy to make and everyone tries to get at least one serving as the bowl is passed around…

Kruzenshtern Barque: Russian Sailing Ship!

KruzenshternDid you know that Russia has the largest sailing ship in the world at her command? – Kruzenshtern…

The Kruzenshtern dated 1926, from the Bremerhaven, Germany shipyard. She was initially called the Padua. This sailing vessel is still used as a training vessel for Russia. The video tells and shows what it is all about!

I simple love these huge sailing ships and acquired a desire to sail from my Dad on a several small sailboats when growing up. (A windmill and Flying Junior – I know tiny!)

Lets see what Wikipedia has to say about the Kruzenshtern sailing vessel:

The Krusenstern or Kruzenshtern (Russian: Барк «Крузенштерн») is a Russian four masted barque and tall ship that was built in 1926 in Bremerhaven-Wesermünde, Germany, as shipyard number “S408” under the name Padua (named after the eponymous Italian city). She was given to the USSR in 1946 as war reparation and renamed after the early 19th century Baltic German explorer in Russian service, Adam Johann Krusenstern (1770-1846).

Of the four remaining Flying P-Liners, the Ex-Padua is the only one still in use, mainly for training purposes, with her home ports in Kaliningrad (formerly Königsberg) and Murmansk. After the Sedov, another former German ship, she is the largest traditional sailing vessel still in operation.

Originally, like all P-liners, Kruzenshtern was painted according to the colors of the German national flag of the German Empire era, black (hull above water, topsides), white (waterline area) and red (underwater body).

The Kruzenshtern led the majestic international procession of tall ships into New York Harbor for Operation Sail on Sunday, July 4, 1976.

The only thing that information lead me to do was see what a barque type ship is:

By the end of the eighteenth century, however, the term barque (sometimes, particularly in the USA, spelled bark) came to refer to any vessel with a particular type of sail-plan. This comprises three (or more) masts, fore-and-aft sails on the after most mast and square sails on all other masts. Barques were the workhorse of the Golden Age of Sail in the mid 19th century as they attained passages that nearly matched full rigged ships but could operate with smaller crews.

Any young man training on this craft will have many stories to tell later in life. I would have loved to have been on the crew of this ship (Kruzenshtern) when I was in my youth.

I have been on many ocean type vessels from destroyers to submarines but nothing ever matched sailing with the wind skipping you over the waters surface…

Photoshop Has Become Life…

PhotoshopPhotoshop the new window into the virtual world we now live in:

I was working on a photoshop image for the website. To do that you have many options and one of the best is to use “Gimp!” I was happily altering a photo to meet the conditions that I set for it and then all of a sudden, I stopped and realized something…

I just took a sip of that wonderful coffee here in Korolev, Russia and I then decided to start this article…

The term photoshop needs to be expounded upon. In the situation that I am using it in, means, “Any altercations in the “real world” by technical manipulations to accomplish the goals set at hand. These goals could be something as simple as just a photo to make yourself look like Superman, to manipulations of data to make a whole country believe in going to war. This twisting of data is not held to just photos, but it is expanded to all carbon based/non carbon based existence and more…”

We photoshop whole countries – Libya, Syria, Russia, America, Europe and in fact we alter the reality of everything on the planet. We do this even if it is a flagrant lie. We do this to create the reality that we want to present and effect the minds of everyone about what we present. We want everyone to see the world through our eyes and to believe like we do. So we manipulate the data when we can and hope one more person falls into the trap and follows our way of thinking. We – in this case is any one individual to a whole country of individuals that are being herded to a common goal…

I watched the manipulations happening all the time: Boston, Washington DC, Moscow and now look at London! A man with a meat cleaver and a knife in his dripping bloody hands, expresses sorrow at what he had to do and he politely gave what seems to be an amazing interview to a person who just was on his way to a job interview and filmed all that happened like it was a reality show on TV… (All the while 50 people stood and watched it all happen…)

All this spouting about photoshop by me is just my way of saying that nothing is real anymore. What you see as feelgood or feelbad images, articles and data is nothing more than a manipulation of qualitative or quantitative variables, that perform a needed function to arrest and desist a real flow and reality of perceptions. To be guided to the false premises that all is wonderful or terrible, whatever fits the requirement for that given second in life…

I am going to sip my coffee and return to my “Gimp” photoshop and alter a photo to try to change your reality and perception about the death you ignore, and actually you demand that death of millions of innocent people, all over the world, by silence is approval of your governments actions…

Now that is reality…

Wild Roses: Blooming in Russia…

Wild Roses are some of my favorite flowers.

I have waited and waited for them to bloom around our place in Russia. So I was really excited today as I found some wild roses blooming and the pictures came out wonderful. Boza did not care of course and he tried to ruin the pictures, as he found a cat to worry about, but you got to love that Galaxy Note camera…

wild roses

Then lets have one that is open all the way…

wild roses

It has been raining and really dreary for days. But today a little sunshine opened up in the form of a wild roses. Now that is sunshine without the sun shining…

I missed the blooming of the lilacs in the village, as they were just starting to flower as we left this last time. So I have enjoyed the lilacs blooming around Moscow. That is another one of my favorite flowers. They smell is heavenly…

So today while walking the dog, my soul uplifted and smiled. The wild roses are a testament to the beauty of nature and the ability to produce beauty if just left alone…

I also say that as the world looks at Moscow and Russia herself as dreary and dim. I say, “For those that look any place on the planet will be found beauty and sunshine as wonderful as the wild roses…”

I think of this poem by Wendell Berry as I think of Svetlana my sweetie:

Sometimes hidden from me
in daily custom and in trust,
so that I live by you unaware
as by the beating of my heart.

Suddenly you flare in my sight,
a wild rose blooming at the edge
of thicket, grace and light
where yesterday was only shade,

and once again I am blessed, choosing
again what I chose before.

Have a nice day and go out and smell the roses…

Adopted Abused Russian Siblings in US…

Adopted Russian Children have escaped from their abusive life in Texas, USA and all because of a brave American woman who never gave up and put her own freedoms and liberty in jeopardy…

adoptedThis is the Adopted Russian children that I have been talking about several times on my website, I was happy as a “pig in a mud wallow” when I saw this. Diane Black contacted me on Facebook and asked me if I had seen anything on the news yet. That made me put out the alerts and checks and then it popped up after a few hours…

adopted sistersTwo orphaned Russian siblings Kelly and Cloe, known in Russia as Anastasia and Svetlana Klimov, have been temporarily placed with a new US foster family, after years of abuse by their adopted American parents.

The announcement was made today by Diane Black, a psychotherapist and human rights lawyer who has been working on this case since she was alerted to the abuse the children suffered at the hands of Michael and Penny Deckert from Texas.

Ms. Black said she called up the girls today to check if everything was fine, and there were tears of happiness in their voice as they repeated “thank you, thank you, thank you.” The human rights activist said she hoped adopted Anastasia and Svetlana found a home at last.

This is one of the articles:

Diane Black: Three Abused Russian Adopted Children Texas, USA

I am so proud of Diane and she stood by these kids. She was even arrested for try to help these adopted children. That gives me the state of America, right there in a nutshell…

Sadly the boy is still missing, but the girls have been relieved of a life of abuse. Lets hope the boy is found before it is too late…

Another abusive American adoption family bites the dust…

Don’t tell me that it is rare! I have hundreds on case file right now, all located in America and all abusive…

Putin: Speed Up Naval Warship Deliveries…

putinPutin has demanded that ship building in Russia increase the production rate. United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) the largest ship builder in Russia is under the gun to get warships out on or before the 2020 deadline of completion…

I saw this information and then it struck me as to what is going on and why Putin is slamming the fist down…

The Russian Navy is expected to receive 24 submarines and 54 warships of various classes by 2020, according to the Defense Ministry…

Then along came Medvedev after Putin and in a CSTO underlining statement…

“It is essential to offer weapons which are superior to our world counterparts, and pay special attention to strengthening cooperation, primarily with our partners in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO),” Medvedev said…

Well this is not anything new to me as I live in Russia, but it maybe new to you and Russian has been on a huge push to upgrade the military for several years now. Something big is on the horizon and along with India and China, Russia is getting ready for it…

The Russian Navy’s new Borei-955 class submarines will each carry 16 Bulava intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM).

Yes Russia is trying to get 24 subs with 16 nuclear tipped missiles ready as fast as possible. That equals 384 nukes floating around in the great blue yonder we call an ocean. That is enough to deter even the toughest big bullies around…

Then 54 warships is a huge increase in the surface abilities…

I read in between the lines of all that is being said by Putin and Medvedev: “Build these damn ships and subs! Build them like you have no tomorrow. For you may not have a tomorrow, to build these ships in.” I also read that the CSTO needs weapons and weapons now as the counter balance against NATO has to begin…

With all that said, the USC has decided to hire outside forces and do what it takes to get those damn warships done, “Come hell or high water…” As Putin scowls and says, “You better get er done!”

The wind is blowing people…

Coffee from Russia and Life…

coffeeThat cup of coffee this morning was perfect. It is around 13 Celsius here in Moscow and the hot beverage made for a wonderful morning. In fact I am on my second cup of coffee and the first was encompassed with lots of thinking’s on my part…

Coffee and Life:

Coffee and life seem to be important to me. I tried to break that coffee habit and failed. I have failed a thousand times. I tried one time to stop smoking after 30+ years and succeeded. I do not drink alcohol and never had to drink in the first place. Alcohol is a poison and it really needs to stay out of the body. Smoking is a poison, just like smoking anything is a poison to your body and anyone who tells you that sucking down smoke from marihuana is okay for you! Well they just want someone to join them in their bad habit. I laugh when I read about how smoking pot is so much better for you than cigarettes. Like inhaling any form of burning leaves is good for your lungs… 🙂

My last bad habit is coffee and I really think that I will keep that bad habit. For a cup of coffee and thinking about how beautiful the world is, well is just perfect. The world is a wonderful place and it is so full of fantastic and marvelous things, that only “a fool and his money” can not see the world for what it is…

So if coffee kills me, “Then so be it!”

About Life:

I once was asked in the heat of a battle, “Are you scared!”

I said, “Hell yes. Scared enough to live!”

I though about that later and realized that fear I expressed was the edge that kept me alive, when all around me have passed away. For those that become complacent die a quick death on the field of honor…

Life is what you make it and there is no one out there who is going to carry you. For we so many times make our own graves by the injustices that we do. Believe in god, but do not expect him to block the bullet that is coming straight at your heart. You have to learn how to keep from getting in the way of that bullet. I just have an issue with the god that does not step in the way of people who kill for no reason, except greed, money, lust and power. I agree we must learn and grow, but so much death is upon the weak and helpless. They have a life to live also. Survival of the fittest is also the fittest to help others survive. There are many people in this world who do not realize that they have a bullet to step out of the way of, because that bullet should never be there in the first place…

About Coffee:

I was once asked by a captor, in a deep dark jungle, what if I had to make a decision about the peacefulness of the rest of my life, between a cup of coffee or a pistol laying on a desk, he said “Chose between that cup of coffee or the gun!”

I said, “I would take the pistol and shoot your ass and then drink the coffee before it got cold!”

4 months later, after being beaten a hundred times, I was asked the same question again, by the same guy…

This time I answered, “I would drink the coffee first, because last time you took to long to die, the coffee got cold! Then – I would shoot your ass!”

For some strange reason known only to him, he let me go…

That sums up life to me and I realize that my summation of life is different than yours, because I have been places and done things that you will never do. Just as you have done things I will never do…

Have a nice day…
