Iran will never give up its legitimate right to develop a nuclear program:

Iran’s representative at the IAEA, Ali Asghar Soltaniyeh, said in his commentary on the report of the Agency, which states that Tehran is developing nuclear weapons. The Iranian official also said that Iran is a responsible nation and observes the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty… (NPT and that is something that a nuclear Israel does not respect and observe.)

The IAEA report circulated Tuesday night and that is when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia expressed its disappointment at the document and said it could start generating tension around Iran…

The report’s authors claim that Iranian researchers have developed computer models that are commonly used to develop an atomic bomb fuse…

Why the two faced world we live in?

After reading the report linked above in the article it is obvious that it is a propaganda tool used by the West against Iran…

It seems strange that Israel is not a member of the NPT but Iran has signed. Iran signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in 1968. Iran has asked many times why does Israel a known Nuclear Power ignore the NPT? It seems to me that the more that Iran tries to do what is right the less respect they get and when you compare to Israel and the constant threats of attack all year long by Israel against Iran, you start to wonder who is the country that has a screw loose…

Iran would be better off doing what Israel did and ignore the NPT. Because Israel ignores it and no one cares…

Also why does Israel get to threaten Iran with bombing and the West just says “Oh – That is nice!” But let Iran threaten Israel and the Western press goes crazy and will even interpret the translation wrong on purpose to exasperate the situation…

Stroganoff a Russian Favorite…


In Russia – Stroganoff is a popular dish to serve to friends when they come over. I think that it dwells from the fact that you can use a tough meat and cook it until it is tender. I never see fine cuts of meat used and most of the time any meat is used along with the beef. So in effect Russians just call it stroganoff and no one worries about what kind of meat is in it…

Stroganoff in Russia is not just served on noodles as is common place in America. Stroganoff is served with french fries, rice, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, pasta noodles, grechka, bread and anything else that catches your fancy. If it is a starch or grain it can have stroganoff on top of it. In fact many places that Sveta and I have gone to eat at use stroganoff as a side dish on grechka…

I saw in the grocery store five years ago in Russia when I first came here. That they take old french fries not sold for the day and put them in a plastic container. Then they take a stroganoff and ladle over top. The container is sealed and priced then chilled and sold as a meal. Cold like a sandwich would be sold and I see that most stores do this to use up left over foods. The restaurants take it to a new level and serve it as a main dish with all the trimmings…

So lets have a Russian favorite that will be easy to make and you can ladle it over top of just about anything that you so desire. Maybe even that left over pizza that you have from last night… 🙂

Lets make a simple Stroganoff…

Ingredients:

1 lb stew meat or any meat and cube it
1 pkg brown gravy mix (store bought)
1 small can mushroom stems and pieces
1 pint sour cream
2 tablespoons dehydrated onions
1/4 cup cooking wine or not if you so desire but stroganoff has this as a real ingredient for flavor.
1 cup water

Directions:

First cook the meat in a skillet at medium heat. I prefer this to get the blood cooked out before adding to the rest of the ingredients. You can cook this a day ahead of time is you desire…

Then once you have the meat cooked add the meat, gravy mix, dehydrated onion, wine and water in crock pot on low temperature for 6-8 hours. Please make sure that you put the lid on the crock pot…

After around 6-8 hours remove lid, increase temp to high, add mushrooms, cook some more until liquid thickens. About another hour. Yes you may want to add some more gravy mix to thicken it if you desire…

Then stir in sour cream and serve immediately over rice, noodles, grechka, slice of bread or what ever…

Yummy…

PS: This is a recipe for people that work and need to have food easily available for the family when they get home. This whole dish can be created in a skillet and in a few hours. Just use raw onions and a tender meat and cook in the same skillet that the meat cooks in. Just add sour cream at the very last because it will water out real bad. You want a thick creamy product…

After 13 years of laying the groundwork and two years of being built, the Nord Stream pipeline will flow its first Russian gas to an estimated 26 million households in the EU on this Tuesday. The Nord Stream pipeline, which passes under the Baltic Sea from Vyborg city in the Leningrad region of Russia, to Greifswald in Germany, will be unique in many ways. It is the longest undersea pipeline in the world – more than 1,200 miles – and will operate under the highest pressure permissible to modern times…

The pipeline capacity will have reached 1 million cubic meters per hour at 4 pm Moscow time, which calculates to an annual supply capacity of 8.5 million cubic meters. This should grow to 27.5 million cubic meters of gas a year and after the second line is launched in the autumn of 2012, deliveries will double to total of 55 billion cubic meters per year…

This was all necessary because Gazprom has forecast that the usage of gas in Europe would rise to 200 million cubic meters a year by 2030…

This pipeline opening today has caused a stifled squeak and squeal from two transit countries (Ukraine and Belarus) and they see transit money in the billions and billions of dollars being skirted around their countries now that Nord Stream is a fact. These countries were given the opportunity to correct their attitudes years ago and they chose to follow a path of self destruction…

This was a huge operation for Russia and Putin was a driving factor in this pipeline. He overcame many obstacles and now has helped secure energy stability in Europe. The days of Ukraine and Belarus holding Russia/Europe hostage with gas blockage are ending and that is just right…

But the final coup de grâce is the South Stream Project that will finish the need for troublesome transit countries.

Baby Box in Japan...

The so-called baby boxes installed throughout Russia, like in Europe and Japan, are for mothers to anonymously leave the unwanted newborns, health officials said Monday…

The action is intended to provide sanitary conditions of unwanted children, instead of having “babies left in trash dumpsters,” officials said…

Five baby boxes have been placed in the territories in the south of Russia, Krasnodar and two more will be purchased shortly. Baby boxes – which cost about $ 10,000 each – were placed near the hospitals in the areas…

“So far no woman has left a child in them [the boxes],” said health department official Perepelkin Tamara Krasnodar…

He said women would not be prosecuted for abandoning their babies…

“Our goal is to save children’s lives,” said Perepelkin. “We have created baby boxes … in remote video cameras and security, “he said.

He said six women had been accused of killing their children or leave their children in danger, from January to September.

The project will begin to involve the Siberian city of Perm, Tomsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk Russia and the European city of Kirov.

In Russia, the Empress Catherine II was the first to open an orphanage. The establishment of Moscow had a maternity hospital for poor pregnant women members.

This morning over that cup of coffee the thinking’s were back on Libya. Now that the Al-Qaeda flag is flying high over all other flags and even being flown on the military vehicles. All is wonderful in Libya as the West ignores the truth of what we did there and point our fingers at Iran and Syria with more vehement…

But lets not leave Libya just yet and lets look at the turmoil that is beginning. While armed men have now gathered outside a hotel building in Tripoli. Most of them tried to break the glass doors and break into the building, other soldiers have fired into the air. Several protesters even said to  CNN that they would topple the new regime of Libya as Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown, unless the situation around back wages was not resolved soon. NTC officials have so far refrained from offering comments… (Hmmm!)

Oh really they want money for doing what they were suppose to be doing because it was their land and they wanted freedom? We were told that they were civilians fighting for what is right! That we had to protect them and now we find out that they were just paid mercenaries. But someone is not paying up the money and the rats are getting upset…

You do understand that it was the West that enticed, enhanced and engaged the Al-Qaeda to over throw Gaddafi? If you remember correctly Gaddafi said that Al-Quaeda was behind all this. Remember? The West denied this and I told you that the West lied…

I remember and I remember ignorant people telling me I was wrong. It was this act by the West that stunned Gaddafi because he had been in close workings with the West on keeping terror issues under control in the world…

Cup of Coffee and it is cold this Sunday Morning…

Woke up at 8 am and checked the temperature outside. Negative 9 degrees Celsius and that is about 16 F. for us non converted. Once again Winter is here and now we start the long frozen time in Moscow. The ground is hard as a rock and will stay that way until somewhere around April or May (7 – 8 months). No more mud, just dirt frozen so hard it is like steel…

So that cup of coffee is wonderful this morning while I am doing some thinking’s…

I have been preoccupied with thinking’s on my health. I have been running some tests at the lab that I use for blood, urine work and such. You know the kind! The collect urine for 24 hours, don’t eat for 12 hours before taking blood and the bruises on the arms from needles not finding the vein type tests. Things are not in line right now and I can tell with my body. So Sveta and I are having a whole bunch of different tests run on me and we will see what comes out of these tests…

One thing that I like is that we get all the tests to take to the doctor. The tests are our property and we do not have to go see a doctor just to see the results as is so infuriating in America…

So far what I am getting back as results is not that good. It looks like time to see some specialists on certain things. Luckily we have a good choice of doctors to get many opinions through and lets hope that they can figure out what’s up…

One of the big things is that even with medication my blood sugar levels have gone off the scale to the high side. That bothers me because it seems to be getting worse. So it is time to see my endocrinologist, cardiologist and my practitioner. Then go to who they suggest that I see, after they study my lab results…

I have to apologize that I have not been writing as many articles and I will get back on track as soon as I get all these tests run…

I swear that these labs are full of vampires that only care if they drain all your blood… 🙂
