Looking out from a Russian Window: Are we worth Saving?

I wrote a humdinger of an article. I put my heart and soul into it!I looked up a hundred bits of information and I put my feelings down on paper. I had a goal and was going to tell you what is wrong with the world over that cup of coffee… (As you see I am still in that mood!)

In fact here is the first paragraph: The start of the day is always good especially when you can get your cup of coffee without any issues. It is necessary to have a good cup of coffee (or in my case chicory) to counter the lacking of keenness that comes across in the news. Now that is news both from the East and the West! The East has its stupid streak for news and it makes me laugh to read the propaganda against the West and that is what is is and not expected to be anything more. The East takes the truth and twists it to look like the new flavor of the month. Now the Western news is not even an attempt at propaganda anymore, it is just flagrant lies that do not have a inkling of the truth embedded anywhere anymore. What gets me is that people eat the lies up and want the information presented into what they want to hear. They do not want to hear the truth because as always the truth hurts, but a lie is cushioning, like a nice soft sofa

This article had Pakistan, McCarthyism, propaganda, East, West, Libya, Syria, lies, hate, confusion, stupidity, morals, Soviet Union, USA, Cuba, the 50’s, the 60’s, the 70’s, politics, war, Western press. Eastern press, Europe, guns, drugs and the kitchen sink to boot…

I went all out and then after reading it again and almost push the post button. I looked around me and said to myself, “Self, No one (in America or the West) gives a crap about what you just said, but it did feel good to get it off my chest!” So I trashed canned the article. For it was written to try to get even one person to open their eyes…

Are you interested in why I trashed it? Glad you asked…

Because I think that most of you out there are just simply plain happy living in ignorance and you do not want to hear or think about the truth. I think that you do not care what your government is doing and how many people it is killing. I think that you all think that as long as the deaths are in another country that you can not even find on a map, then all is fine and hunky dory…

I also came to a conclusion: After watching the scores of videos about this past last Black Friday, after Thanksgiving and seeing the hate, greed, confusion and violence. I realized that the people of America have what they want. A government that is doing what they do, think, act and feel. The government in America is a carbon copy of her people. The American government is just an extension of the people and it mimic’s the people closely…

It dawned on my that I am (and about 20%, give or take of the US population) a dying breed of person in America. People like me are labeled now! We are radical, militants, crazy, weird and unpatriotic. That is far from the truth but it is how we are labeled to keep us ostracized against the main population. Oh people want to say, “You know he could be right!” but they are all scared anymore. I know I was in America…

Then I wondered over my second cup of coffee: Are we worth saving or are we too far gone? Are we just too reliant on government? Are we too scared? Are we too weak? Are we too brainwashed?

Sometimes being out of the hornets nest, I think we are too far gone and until I see it different, then I will believe that we (U.S.) as a country have lost true patriotism, freedom, liberty and life to the terrorists of the world…

I look at America and sadly realize that Terrorists have won and they never really fired a shot at us…

But it seems to be what we want, because we do nothing about it. Voting in a career politician just will not do the job because with the exception of just a few like e.g.: Ron Paul. You are just replacing one rotten apple with another rotten apple… (Oops there is that crazy Ron Paul issue! You all know he is a little bit weird! The MSM says so…)

PS: Maybe I am wrong and one day before it is too late, we will wake up and put a stop to the lies and crap that are being fed to us 24 hours a day. Until we start thinking for ourselves and get off the government baby bottle. Until the federal government gets out of the business of running our everyday lives. That is just not going to happen…

PSS: Well I guess I still wrote a, “I hope one person will listen article! :)” Now don’t get me wrong I see Russia following down this same path and I see lots of the world following this path. I just care and get upset about America, as that is my country and my original home…

Ukraine: Stone People on a trip of ours…

I was drinking my second cup of coffee and I thought about how old civilization is in this part of the world. I really do not know how old it is, I was just thinking about it… 🙂

In our travels we c0me upon interesting signs that point down side roads to special places. It was just such a sign on a trip several years ago that said turn here and go to – “Stone People”. So we turned and after about an hour down a goat trail. We saw the remains of a civilization that carved statues from sandstone. All I can show you is some of the statues and the big pile of sandstone that they used to carve figures from. Cameras are great for memories…

You hear about the whole world and how old the remains of man are in areas of the world. Very little is said about how old the people in Russia are and the surrounding areas. I can tell you that mankind is old, in these here parts…

Man has been carving statues in Ukraine and Russia a very long time…

Picture 1, 2 and 3 are stone figures that have been found and moved to help preserve from theft and destruction. They are near a security building so that a watchful eye can see what everyone is doing to them. They allow you to touch them and they are really cool. Picture 4 is my beautiful Wife on top of the sandstone used to carve from. Picture 5 is what we had to climb through to get to top of the sandstone mound…

Sveta and I have so much fun on our trips and we love to just take a side road to whatever! The side roads to whatever are where the fun is… 🙂

Russia and her coming presidential election…

Of all the political parties, only the ruling party United Russia throws their weight behind Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in the presidential campaign of 2012. The other six parties will nominate their own candidates. However, the Russians should not expect to see any new faces in the elections of March 2012…

The Communist Party (KPRF) of Russia, Gennady Zyuganov will make it his fourth time in the race as president candidate in March 2012. He came second in the previous elections in 1996, 2000 and 2008. “We’re not even considering other candidates,” said Sergey Obukhov, secretary of the Central Committee of the party. The Communists hope to endorse his presidential nomination at the party convention on 17 December…

On 13th of December, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) plans to name its leader, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who has been a veteran of all presidential campaigns dating back to 1991, with exception of 2004…

Sergey Mironov, the leader of the center-left party Fair Russia, refuted rumors on November 29 that he would not run for president. Center-left party Fair Russia is scheduled to discuss its presidential candidate on December 10. Center-left party Fair Russia must choose between three people: Mironov, Nikolay Levichev, the party chairman, and Oksana Dmitriyeva, first deputy chief of party group in the previous legislature…

Mironov assured his followers that the party wants to win elections. “Participation is more important than winning is not our motto,” he said. Russia intends only to present the members of an alternative government at the convention to seal their intentions…

Parties not represented in the previous legislature intended to choose their presidential candidates through primaries. Although the political council social liberal Yabloko party recommended the appointment of party leader Grigory…

The right-leaning party Right Cause, will weigh in on the presidential election on December 8. Andrey Bogdanov, a member of the party’s federal list in the parliamentary elections, said he has proposed primaries. Bogdanov, who ran for president in 2008, did not say whether he expects to make another run this time. Right Cause chairman Andrey Dunayev has not yet confirmed his participation…

The left-leaning party, Patriots of Russia, has not yet picked its presidential hopeful. The party’s Deputy Chairwoman Nadezhda Korneeva said that everything would depend on whether the party manages to make it past the election threshold at the December, 2011 parliamentary election…

The deadline for candidates to apply for the presidential election is January 3, 2012…

Cyber Russia: USA pointed the finger but forgot to look in the mirror first…

(Evil) Russian Hacker..

I tried to ignore this unbelievably incredible story that the Western press was running with for over a week. They had just stopped talking about it when, today I see that all the hot air flapping from the western media was wrong. I have lots of articles in Fresh Coffee news and Russian news From Russia and you know me! I can’t resist a dig now that the Western media has shown her colors…

The Western press went crazy and posted this everywhere as to why the internet is evil and must be controlled: Foreign hackers caused a pump at an Illinois water plant to fail last week, according to a preliminary state report. Russia is the main culprit in this case and it was confirmed to have been Russian based. (Point finger at Russia right now and say, “Bad Evil Russia!”) Senior U.S. officials have recently raised warnings about the risk of destructive cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure and this (Cyber death of a water pump!) is an example of that possibility…

But, But, But – yes, as in oops –

But: When a water pump in Illinois collapsed in what appeared to be the first foreign country (as in “Bad Evil Russia” type of country) to publicly use cyber attacks in the U.S., the media eagerly jumped on this exciting deadly story of espionage, of a “Bad Evil Russia”. Now due to the hard work of the DHS and the FBI, however, it has been found that the failure was caused by an “American contractor” who was traveling around in Russia…

Hmm…

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was alerted Nov. 16 and sent a team to the water plant to investigate, according to a DHS bulletin. FBI officials also took part in the inquiry. The agencies concluded that there was no malicious or unauthorized traffic from Russia, as stated in the preliminary Illinois report…

Hmm…

I saw so many articles about this you would have thought that America needed to “Nuke Russia” just because they suspected that Russia was attacking through the cyber world and turned off a water pump (like in one pump). I saw some really crazy comments about this subject and I have to say that Americans are becoming a little bit lunatic over anything from the outside world of her borders…

I wonder if the traveling contractor will go home after this? Wonder if he was Iranian? Wonder why he is in Russia? Wonder if he is part of the Russian Mafia? Who is this man that  almost caused WW III, OMG do you think! Hmm… 🙂

Libya to Syria With Humanitarian Care Packages by the West…

As we all know, I made it clear that I thought that what we did to Libya was and is a sick pathetic expression of war in disguise as humanitarian care. Now we have stepped from destroying Libya to banging the drums ever so rapidly and loudly over Syria. The lies are in full swing and the build up to humanitarian care (war) is on its way. With humanitarian aid like what Libya got, “Who needs enemies – When the (good guys) will kill you first!”

DAMASCUS, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) — Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid al- Moallem on Monday accused the international community of turning a blind eye to the fact that armed groups are behind the violence in Syria, as the United States and its Western allies seem determined to accuse Syrian government by urging it to “halt violence immediately.”

At a press conference held in Syria’s capital of Damascus, Moallem charged that the Arabs and their Western backers refused to believe in the existence of armed groups in Syria, but instead “they accuse the Syrian army of committing crimes against the Syrians.”

Moallem also urged neighboring countries to stop the smuggling of weapons and funds through borders, as well as to stop all campaigns of media provocations by Arab TV channels. He noted that armed and terrorist groups have stepped up their crimes following the withdrawal of the Syrian army and security forces from some cities.

Syria has, from the start, accused what it called “armed terrorist groups” of carrying out attacks and crimes against civilians and army personnel with the aim of plunging the country in bloodshed.

Okay it looks like a repeat of Libya. Libya said that al qaeda was in there and yes they were. Libya said that outside forces caused all the issues and yes they did. It is simply the same thing that is happening to Syria and Russia has been calling for the West to quit the crap…

PS: Yes I am against what we (America) are doing in Syria also…

My eyes wide open now and a Cup of Coffee…

Cup of Coffee...

Anyone of my readers that wrote these comments below will recognize their statement. I only added a parenthesis after Georgia because of Georgia the country. The rest is how I got them minus the names of course…

“So I’m guessing you appreciate Russia just a bit more now.”

“Russia is looking like a paradise compared to the US!”

“I am moving to Mexico – it is safer than my home town.”

“When you left Georgia (USA) it seems that so did everyone worth a decency. Time for me to pack it up and hit the road!”

“The World scares me but the US scares me more lately.”

“Remember what we had to learn? The enemy will die, never hesitate to shoot the eye!” 🙁

“Sorry about the abrupt end on conversation on phone. But you never know who is listening! I do not have the freedom to speak like you do in Russia! The phones are always listening now.”

“Hallo, I am in South America and dreams are still good here! Unlike the past in Kentucky!”

“I finally got my USA passport and went through hell at the airport trying to escape America. They scanned me, poked me, felt me and made me explain three times about my metal hip socket. You know, they made me start my computer and take the battery out of my computer and cell phone. You know, I went to Brazil and they said hi and thanks for coming. I left and they said, sad to see you leave and please come back. They never tried to play with any of my body parts. I jumped to China from Brazil and stayed in China. They were twice as nice as Brazil except they asked me a funny question at the border. They asked am I happy in the US? Well maybe that is not funny question anymore, is it? My eyes wide open now! Maybe Russia is next stop because I will never go home again!”

I have a lot of contacts in America that read this blog daily and many of them are either people who leave the country (US) often or have left permanently. The reason that all this is on my mind this morning while I sip that delicious cup of coffee, is because of this article below, along with the comments I got the last few days, printed above…

Papers, Please: by John Brennan – America has elevated common policing to a well-managed, military operation. When the line between small town police and military becomes blurry, you had better beware. Nazi Germany was very thorough in creating such an environment. Everybody was in uniform. Fear and intimidation were the preferred tools of those in power. America may not be a true police state yet, but it certainly has become an over-policed country. Oh yeah, this is still a free place all right, as long as you do what your told. The thing I find most frightening about this new “persona” my country has adopted, is how quickly and easily it has been embraced by all those in positions of authority. I don’t care for it one bit, and am sad about what my homeland has become. I don’t pretend to be some enlightened creature able to see the future in some crystal ball, but we are headed down a dangerous path. Read More >>>

I realize that he is just one person (John Brennan) to write an article about leaving America. But there are becoming many many more articles about the subject and most people who leave, do not write at all and they just silently disappear into the wood work. I like many of us that leave are ex-military. There is something about waking up from the brainwashing that America does and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. It is a good light… 🙂

I also see that people who are leaving America are a totally different person than that who stays stuck in America like a prisoner behind bars. Feeling all safe and sound because the bars are so strong and tough…

Now that leads to the hateful comments I get and I learned that the delete key is my friend. So I am able to see by the hateful comments that many people are happy to be stuck within the borders of America and that is fine with me. That is their choice and their life, just as it is my choice and life to escape the American borders. What I have not understood is why do people have to give out so much sarcasm and hate when they try to tell you that you are stupid, unpatriotic and an idiot for leaving America. Why America was founded on people who left their mother country when life became overbearing and somewhere else looked auspicious compared to back home. Those comments make me glad that they do not leave because the world does not need that crap running around it. The world is being abused enough by the American government without 300,000,000 American citizens acting like it is Black Friday after Thanksgiving everyday all over the world. I do not have a hard time imagining all those crazy Walmart shoppers with their welfare and subsidized money destroying a store in China because they can buy a iPhone at half the cost of the very same made in China iPhone in America…

That last thought brings me to an interesting concept. I really think that most people who discover that the rest of the world is a better place than America, keep their mouth shut. They do that because they do not want  to ruin the rest of the world. The world is like a secrete to the main brunt of Americans. It is like the depths of the ocean or the wilderness in Siberia, Russia. They are overwhelmingly beautiful and untouched in many ways. I realize that I have these thinking’s now about how I really do not want to see the Walmart crowd come to Russia. For that would ruin the beauty. It is bad enough that McDonald’s is messing up Russia in a bad way…

Take it or leave it, how ever you want, but these are just my ramblings today and it is what I believe in. This does not mean that I think you should move out of America but it does mean that I think that you should do some thinking in life. Sometimes life catches you unaware. Enjoy that cup of coffee and maybe your eyes opened a little more today…

Washington’s reset in the relations with Moscow ended in a failure…

The End of Reset:

This article is by Leonid Ivashov, President of the Geopolitics Problems Academy, Professor with the Moscow University of Linguistics, Strategic Culture Foundation expert, was published in International Affairs magazine.

US Department of State spokeswoman Victoria Nuland announced on November 22 that the US stops supplying to Russia the data on conventional arms in Europe. Furthermore, Russian inspectors would not be admitted to US military bases in Europe. What could be the reasoning behind the radical US step which, it must be noted, fits with a wider trend in Washington’s decision-making?

First, the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE), which was pompously penned in 1990 and imposed constraints on the deployment of nonnuclear arms on the continent, was supposed to be a deal between two blocs – NATO and the Warsaw Pact.

Secondly, its underlying compromise was political rather than military in nature as naval weapons, cruise missiles, air defense, etc. remained outside of the CFE Treaty’s scope.

Thirdly, the world’s configuration changed since the time the CFE Treaty was formulated, with new independent states coming into being and some of the former Eastern bloc countries joining NATO. Automatically, the Treaty’s provisions did not account for their existence.

An amended version of the CFE Treaty signed in Istanbul in 1999 similarly reflected a compromise of a political character. It grew out of negotiations which, even though campaign was occasionally served in the process, dragged on with great difficulty. On top of that, the subsequent ratification took ages – the refreshed CFE treaty was ratified by Russia only in 2004, with Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine following the lead shortly. NATO countries showed even less enthusiasm to ratify it. Russia eventually suspended the CFE Treaty in 2007.

As it follows from the above, this November Washington scrapped a de facto meaningless agreement. Back in 2007, Russia’s foreign ministry bluntly confirmed that the CFE Treaty was dead when it released a comment explaining that the agreement signed in the Cold War era was long out of sync with the realities of the transformed Europe and could not contribute to the international security. Gen. Yu. Baluyevsky who was the Russian army’s chief of general staff at the time even charged NATO with exceeding the ceilings set by the Treaty by thousands of units.

Mrs. Nuland of the US Department of State did say that the doors were open for further talks, but the remark read as a mere tribute to the norms of diplomatic politeness. If, as US officials assert, Washington is interested in reanimating the Treaty or attracting Moscow to new negotiations over its subject, the natural first step for the US would be to take the locks off the doors. For example, NATO could express readiness to keep sticking to the Treaty quotas, to account for the Baltic republics’ military potentials in the overall balance, etc. It is clear, though, that the US is not going to do anything of the kind, as otherwise it would have to pull some of its forces – tanks, armored vehicles, canons, and copters – out of Europe and thus weaken its grip on the continent.

Moscow responded to Washington’s move within hours: President Medvedev made a statement pertinent to the key element of the reset policy framework – namely, the recent New START Treaty. Upon mentioning that the treaty confirmed the linkage between the offensive and defensive strategic armaments and allowed Russia to withdraw from it under appropriate conditions, the Russian leader made it clear that Russia “reserves the right to discontinue further disarmament and arms control measures”. The statement could impress the media but not the Pentagon where, no doubt, the present-day modest capabilities of the Russian army and military-industrial complex are assessed with full realism.

Washington’s heavily advertised reset in the relations with Moscow ended with a fabulous failure and no other outcome could be realistically expected from the outset. The reason is that over roughly the last 150 years the US was building a vision of the world such that Russia – Soviet, post-Soviet or sustaining any other social and political system – was a prior regard as an enemy. From A. Mahan to Z. Brzezinski, US geostrategies were centered around crushing Russia as a prologue to the US global primacy. A couple of illustrative examples are given below.

A. Mahan wrote that the US should gain control over the entire part of South Asia stretching from the 30 to the 40 parallel and start pushing the Russian nation to the north. His plan was that – as, by the laws of nature, the termination of growth necessarily leads to decline – the Russians would be doomed if locked up in their northern territories. Z. Brzezinski, in his turn, coined the thesis that the new world order would be built on the wreckage of Russia, at the expense of Russia, and would be used against Russia.

It is not surprising, therefore, that US President W. Wilson suggested partitioning Russia in 1918 or that US President R. Reagan used to condemn the Soviet Union as the “evil empire”.

A credible reset in the US-Russian relations would take a reset in the minds of the US politicians and financial players who would have to embrace a completely new geopolitical vision and delete irreversibly their absurd dream of world dominance.

This needs to be said again because hundreds of times a week I get nasty comments as to why Windows to Russia does not talk about this or that subject. Why are we silent about things that are important to the world… 🙂

We are not!

You have to look around. There is simply too much data to be encompassed by only one website. News has a thousand posts a month as does Fresh Coffee. Windows to Russia has an average of 100 posts a months and these are all followed up by hundreds and hundreds of monthly posts on all the other websites in the system…

Windows to Russia is a huge database of information that covers Russia from A to Z. We have 200 posts of real pictures from Russia that we take, in our photo site. We have around 700 true Russian videos in our video site and if you want to read some old fairtales and stories from Russia, then read our Russian stories. There is 55 stories from the old days for you to enjoy…

We receive over a 1,200,000 page views a day now an all our sites. Why just yesterday Windows to Russia itself was slaughtered and the host almost could not keep up with the demand. This is while news is recieving 4 to 5 thousand views a day and now coffee has decided to start growing and has exceeded 3000 views a day now. Coffee if you remember, was destroyed by Blogger Blogspot and after a couple of years it has now started to come back…

So lets make it clear again! Windows to Russia is not just one site and only one site. Windows to Russia is a huge network of sites that encompass a lot of data on Russia. The main site Windows to Russia is my site to express what interests me and only what interests me. If I could care less about a Russian plane crash then I will not write about it. But I can tell you that on the Russian News Site you will find articles about the crash. You will find articles from all over the world about Russia…

Also the original Windows to Russia is still functioning and it gives you a wonderful place to start by being able to see all of the main blogs in one page. It has 5 of the latest articles that have been posted on each site…

So if you want to know about Russia came to Windows to Russia…
