I, as many in Russia am despondent about Medvedev, but…

SOCHI, May 15. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday presented his vision of the structure of the country’s new government. He handed over a draft decree on the new government to President Vladimir Putin….More: http://tass.com/politics/1004450

There are a thousand ways to look at almost anything. Why just ask a hundred people anything. That means at times you get a hundred answers and all are different….in Russia a land of intellects, you get a different answer from each person… 😉

I don’t try to analyze why Putin keeps Medvedev as Prime Minister of Russia. I know it works and seems to work good…

I do know that Putin and Medvedev are actually friends in life in general. They seem to have a working relationship and understanding what one or the other wants is available for all to see…

Medvedev is considered by many to be a 5th Columnist and too much align with the western viewpoint. Who knows? I do know that Putin and Medvedev work good together, as long as Putin is in the top spot. I know that Medvedev learned some hard lessons, during his term as the Russian President. The Western Empire burned his ass badly in Libya and several other deals…

Yet I find myself at personally being despondent of Medvedev as a leader…

Putin and Medvedev work good together. Medvedev has done very well with running the Russian Government and seems to meet his deadlines before the deadlines are due. He works hard at his job and in his way he is a Russian Patriot, just different than Putin…

It takes all personalities and ways at looking at things to make the whole picture (or country) come together…

Krym Bridge: Having crossed by ferry several times, this is a blessing in a time factor… (video)

A new 19km bridge connecting the mainland with the Crimean Peninsula has been officially opened, making Russia the host of Europe’s longest bridge. President Vladimir Putin personally drove a truck across it to mark the occasion.

This is nice. The ferry trip that saved a bunch of travel time, was fun for one time, but to do it all the time would have been yuck. Svetochka and I traveled it several times in our trips around Russia and this bridge will make life so much better and will allow “The Krym” to blossom…

Video of Putin tooling down the new bridge:

Looked a little bit wobbly at the end of the video. Keep it between the lines Putin… 😉

It makes no sense…

For about ten (+) years now. The US has been on a accelerated destructive path. I watch what the rest of the world is doing. I follow multiple news organizations from many countries and it shows me that the USA is very isolated and very unknowledgeable about the real world…

It is as if we Americans live behind a wall and never look outside that wall, even though that wall has windows, ladders and doors to allow us to see/climb and go through the to the outside…

The wall! Your success is on the other side. Can’t jump over it or go around it. You know what to do. – Dwayne Johnson

Therefore, we and our leaders in the US and the west seem to see the wall and think that is the end of importance…

China has never questioned the reliability of US suppliers in the past. But ZTE’s case suggests that US supply is not reliable. The global supply chain is fragile in the face of politics. Americans have started to reckon upon means to counter China’s rise and restraints on high-tech exports to China are their leverage. The US may use this tool more widely in future.

Oops…

Yup, Oops and we better back track very fast. Just as we have done with the Russian Rusal destruction of our USA industry movement…

Now the US found that we put or foot in our mouth again with ZTE and as with the Rusal aluminum fiasco, tried to sink ourselves. We have personal issues and they are getting worse. The ones outside our wall are gathering the tools to finally ignore us and it is all because of us, we, ourselves and you and I….all those around you…

ZTE is all about processors and using them as leverage. What we (Americans) seemed to not understand was that China has almost caught us in processor technology and now they will bypass us, for there is no trust anymore….

Every time we try to sanction, blackmail and twist someones arms in the international arena, we tell the whole world that we are weak and our future is unstable. This has been going on for a long time and while we spout rhetoric, threats and sanctions others are making the deals to change the situation and we are not invited….because we, excluded ourselves by our actions…

Now we have done it again with Iran…

As China has no intention of going along with any new US sanctions on Iran, the stage could be set for a rise in tensions – Source: Trump’s betrayal of Iran deal brings US-China trade war to a much scarier level | South China Morning Post

I will add to the above: Russia will not go along with the Iran sanctions also. This is evident by the stance being laid out by China and Russia in the last few days…

What will the EU do?

I have a good answer: First thing is to look a world map. Then after realizing what side of the pond the EU is located on; Call Russia, call China and become fully invested in the Silk Road by China and embrace with confidence a Russia for cheap stable fuel supplies. Plus as an added bonus, I would expel a bunch of non important spying US diplomats from the EU. Learn who the real friends are and the real foes are….Oh while the EU is trying to grow a pair of balls, drop the dollar completely….Russia and China will embrace the Euro, as it is to their advantage also…

It all makes no sense to be the whipping boy. To stay on top you must embrace change and treat others with respect. Long term relationships are vastly more important than short term gains…

Moscow has become one of Europe’s top five cities in investment appeal…

Moscow ranks first among Eastern European cities.

Moscow has been ranked fifth in an investment appeal rating in Europe, moving beyond Helsinki, Warsaw, Berlin and Stockholm. The Russian capital moved up two places from its previous position. The rankings were published by The Financial Times international daily newspaper.

Moscow has become the leader among Eastern European cities in investment appeal for the second time. Warsaw is second and Bucharest is third.

“The Russian capital has improved its standing in the authoritative ratings of European cities in investment appeal. This year Moscow is one of Europe’s top five cities in this indicator for the first time, and ranks first among Eastern European cities,” said Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department for Economic Policy and Development Vladimir Yefimov.

He emphasized that investors find it profitable to work in Moscow owing to benefits and preferences. “In implementing a comprehensive investment support programme, Moscow has become one of Europe’s leading metropolises in terms of simplicity and convenience of doing business. The many benefits and preferences granted by the city make it more profitable for investors to operate here. Largely due to this, every year the city attracts about half of all investment made in Russia,” Mr Yefimov said.

The Financial Times compiles its rating twice a year, using its database on direct foreign investment. The rankings are the results of 97 indicators that are divided into groups like economic potential, employment, cost of doing business, infrastructure and a business-friendly environment.

We could be watching a equipoise…

Time will tell if what we are witnessing is nothing but a alteration of the outward fixture, or if what we are seeing is a true solidity of corporeality…

I have a desire to see Europe get off its ass and become something worthy of being called civilized, but I have my doubts as to what is really happening. The EU is talking the talk right now, but can the EU walk the walk?

“At this point, we have to replace the United States which as an international actor has lost vigor, and because of it, in the long-term, influence,” President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said while speaking to Belgium’s Flemish regional parliament on Wednesday. He went on to say that Washington had been turning away from constructive international relations “with a ferocity that can only surprise us.”

I will make it simple: Equipoise means, “balance of forces or interests” and that is totally necessary for the world…

The USA is a perfect example of what happens when outside and inside forces run amok and lose site of right and wrong. I voted for Trump to do just what he is doing. I realized, good or bad, he was going to turn things upside down and not necessarily for the better. Trump could never fix anything (the issue was past fixing,) but he was capable to upset that applecart and maybe, just maybe he has. That means my vote was worth it…

I also will say that the EU has enough issues to choke a horse, but they need to make sure that the issues are their issues and not someone else’s issues being dumped on them…

Therefore, the EU better grab it while they can. Fix issues and take care of her people. This means to get out from under the coercer called America. The EU is much more in alignment with Russia and China, for its future. The USA is not able to offer a future for the EU, or at least a future that is not riddled with pain and suffering in financial and warmongering ways and means…

I can only hope that Europe will wake up and start turning the ship in the correct direction. Russia and China will help and support such a move. The USA has lost its way and has to see the bottom, before getting its act back together again…

I see that a fork in the road has been reached and the decisions made in the next few weeks could make or break the world. The EU has been given a tough row to hoe….Stay with the old and hope for the better and or grab something new and make something better out of what you grab…

Most likely made in China… 🙂

Dr. Seuss said it best…

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. – Dr. Seuss

Wake up people….no more reliant upon others who have no interest in your future. You must do what is good for you and your loved ones, your country and your country’s people. Grab an oar and row, if you have to…

As I talked about yesterday:

Those who do support the US and those that don’t…

Maybe the EU would do better letting Britain get on out?

We will see!
