Moscow has become one of Europe’s top five cities in investment appeal…

Moscow ranks first among Eastern European cities.

Moscow has been ranked fifth in an investment appeal rating in Europe, moving beyond Helsinki, Warsaw, Berlin and Stockholm. The Russian capital moved up two places from its previous position. The rankings were published by The Financial Times international daily newspaper.

Moscow has become the leader among Eastern European cities in investment appeal for the second time. Warsaw is second and Bucharest is third.

“The Russian capital has improved its standing in the authoritative ratings of European cities in investment appeal. This year Moscow is one of Europe’s top five cities in this indicator for the first time, and ranks first among Eastern European cities,” said Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department for Economic Policy and Development Vladimir Yefimov.

He emphasized that investors find it profitable to work in Moscow owing to benefits and preferences. “In implementing a comprehensive investment support programme, Moscow has become one of Europe’s leading metropolises in terms of simplicity and convenience of doing business. The many benefits and preferences granted by the city make it more profitable for investors to operate here. Largely due to this, every year the city attracts about half of all investment made in Russia,” Mr Yefimov said.

The Financial Times compiles its rating twice a year, using its database on direct foreign investment. The rankings are the results of 97 indicators that are divided into groups like economic potential, employment, cost of doing business, infrastructure and a business-friendly environment.

We could be watching a equipoise…

Time will tell if what we are witnessing is nothing but a alteration of the outward fixture, or if what we are seeing is a true solidity of corporeality…

I have a desire to see Europe get off its ass and become something worthy of being called civilized, but I have my doubts as to what is really happening. The EU is talking the talk right now, but can the EU walk the walk?

“At this point, we have to replace the United States which as an international actor has lost vigor, and because of it, in the long-term, influence,” President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said while speaking to Belgium’s Flemish regional parliament on Wednesday. He went on to say that Washington had been turning away from constructive international relations “with a ferocity that can only surprise us.”

I will make it simple: Equipoise means, “balance of forces or interests” and that is totally necessary for the world…

The USA is a perfect example of what happens when outside and inside forces run amok and lose site of right and wrong. I voted for Trump to do just what he is doing. I realized, good or bad, he was going to turn things upside down and not necessarily for the better. Trump could never fix anything (the issue was past fixing,) but he was capable to upset that applecart and maybe, just maybe he has. That means my vote was worth it…

I also will say that the EU has enough issues to choke a horse, but they need to make sure that the issues are their issues and not someone else’s issues being dumped on them…

Therefore, the EU better grab it while they can. Fix issues and take care of her people. This means to get out from under the coercer called America. The EU is much more in alignment with Russia and China, for its future. The USA is not able to offer a future for the EU, or at least a future that is not riddled with pain and suffering in financial and warmongering ways and means…

I can only hope that Europe will wake up and start turning the ship in the correct direction. Russia and China will help and support such a move. The USA has lost its way and has to see the bottom, before getting its act back together again…

I see that a fork in the road has been reached and the decisions made in the next few weeks could make or break the world. The EU has been given a tough row to hoe….Stay with the old and hope for the better and or grab something new and make something better out of what you grab…

Most likely made in China… 🙂

Dr. Seuss said it best…

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. – Dr. Seuss

Wake up people….no more reliant upon others who have no interest in your future. You must do what is good for you and your loved ones, your country and your country’s people. Grab an oar and row, if you have to…

As I talked about yesterday:

Those who do support the US and those that don’t…

Maybe the EU would do better letting Britain get on out?

We will see!

WtR

Those who do support the US and those that don’t…

I cannot stop telling the truth, if I do then I become no better than you and them, by hiding my head in the sand…

The Old Empire of Britain and the New Empire of the USA has done this because the division line for the battle is being laid. It is a desire by the dying Empire to see a definite split between those who do support the USA/Britain and those who don’t…

It is interesting that people never seem to see what Britain did as they died as an Empire and shifted everything to a new Empire. No one wants to accept that Israel was started as part of that dying Empire to a new Empire. Everyone wants to think Israel is blessed by God! I think they are blessed, but not by God…

This is by design and it is worrying because the big change is that Russia and China have finally said enough. Now it is very simple for Russia and China, they have been and have to bide their time and allow the west to implode. But imploding can be very very bad for the world….and patience does run out. This is why you see the US constantly antagonizing chaos continually all over the world. Be it foes and or friends…

This is simply the biggest division the world has ever seen in our times. It is happening right before our eyes, the split has happened. The pieces must now fall where they may and may the toughest win. It is a division between East and West….the lines are being drawn and the ground work being laid. We are marching toward WW3 and there is nothing us little people can do about it…

I think the ones in charge of the world itself are terrible, all consumed with bitterness, greed, lust, power and their only goal if they do not get it all, is destruction. Unless we give it to them, they will take the world with them. This all about total control and Egomaniac souls demanding a World War unless we get everything and I mean everything. They want your soul and the soul of the world…

Yes, Hate is all they know…

It is like:

We have a core of good humans all over the earth, but we have viruses that have invaded us and we do not know how to remove this virus without killing the host. I do truly believe that humans are good…

If civilization is to survive, we must cultivate the science of human relationships – the ability of all peoples, of all kinds, to live together, in the same world at peace. – Franklin D. Roosevelt

And, I see even great men in positions of power understand reality. but we never listen to such men and or destroy such men and or such men turn upon their own souls and destroy themselves when in that power…

Not to worry, when the world finally fractionate into Oceania (US & UK), Eurasia (Russia) and Eastasia (China). After which the real wars (not just financial and moral) between the Oceania and the latter two commence and blossom, fueled by propaganda beyond our wildest imaginations…

Of course, life in Oceania is the most depressing of the three because it will crash the farthest. Even for its silk-stockinged, who garnered their wealth from the good old days in NYC (USA) and London (UK)…

Stick around. You’ll see….we humans sitting in the east have so much less height to fall from our pedestals than the people in the western world…

PS: The next factor yet to be answered is, “What will the EU do?” – Remember the EU is not Britain and or UK….would be nice if the EU grew a pair and broke from the US and became smart about the games going on. But….yup right!

Russian deputy prime minister “monkey with a hand grenade” in 2013…

I was reminded about this….and it has been proven true to the word of what he said and proven to the world about what he said…

“The Western Countries are acting like a monkey with a hand-grenade in response to the Islamic world,” wrote Dimitry Rogozin, Russian Deputy Prime Minister on his twitter account…

Putin: “the dollar monopoly is unreliable”

“We need to increase the level of our economic sovereignty but this is not a straightforward decision,” the Putin said. “Oil is traded in dollars on the exchange,” He said. “Certainly, we are thinking about what we need to do in order to get free of this burden. Furthermore, our partners are helping us by introducing all these unlawful restrictions and violating principles of the global trade, because the whole world sees the dollar monopoly is unreliable; it is dangerous for many, not only for us,” Putin said…

and

“This is not merely a separation from the dollar; this refers to the need of strengthening our economic sovereignty,” said Putin.

and

“Our gold and foreign currency reserves undergo diversification and we will continue to do it,” Putin added.

An Open Letter to Vladimir Putin – by Stephen Lendman

It’s out of character for me to advise a political leader on what I believe is best for his or her country.

I’m writing to you personally because of what I believe is the most perilous time in world history – far more serious than anything preceding WW I and II, as well as throughout the Cold War.

You have detailed intelligence I’m not privy to. You surely know the threat my country poses to yours, many others, and world peace – Trump’s disgraceful JCPOA withdrawal and reimposition of nuclear-related sanctions the latest example.

I’ve explained many times that Washington wants all sovereign independent governments replaced by pro-Western ones, wars of aggression and color revolutions its favored strategies – Russia, China and Iran its key targets for regime change.

America has been hostile to country since the 1917 revolution – with brief periods of better relations, followed by resumed hostility.

I know my country’s history from inception, a deplorable record of belligerence and betrayal – waging endless wars of aggression, consistently and repeatedly breaching treaties, conventions and other deals agreed on.

It can never be trusted. How abysmally it’s treated your country in the post-Soviet period alone is clear proof of its ill intentions.

It’s hostile to you personally for championing world peace and stability, wanting cooperative relations with all other nations, respecting rule of law principles, and advocating multi-world polarity.

Democracy in America is pure fantasy. None whatever exists, an anathema notion from the nation’s founding, rejecting it at home and abroad.

US aims under Republicans and what I call undemocratic Dems pursue goals opposite yours. They want you replaced with pro-Western puppet rule, Washington gaining another imperial trophy.

Conflict in Syria was launched by Obama for regime change. There’s nothing civil about what’s going on.

Trump escalated what his predecessor began, wanting Iran isolated ahead of something similar against its government – using ISIS and other terrorists as imperial foot soldiers, supporting the scourge it pretends to oppose.

Washington considers Russia its mortal enemy, not your “partner” politically, economically or militarily.

Patience isn’t always a virtue – never in dealing with a hegemon seeking unchallenged global dominance, wanting planet earth carved up for profit, people everywhere exploited, sovereign states turned into vassal ones.

I once said Putin’s Russia is back, proud and re-assertive, not about to roll over for Washington.

I strongly support your September 2015 intervention in Syria at the behest of Assad to combat terrorism.

Yet today, US forces control about one-third of Syrian territory, according to its UN envoy Bashar al-Jaafari, a distinguished figure I respect greatly.

I feel the same way about you – but extremely dismayed. Despite combating terrorism in Syria, twice you reduced Russia’s minimal force in the country unwisely, believing war on ISIS was won – clearly not nor against other US-supported terrorists in the country.

Al-Nusra and likeminded groups remain resilient, ISIS weakened but not defeated. US and other foreign-supplied weapons, training and funding support them.

Geneva, Astana and Sochi conflict resolution talks achieved no significant breakthroughs because Washington and its imperial partners want endless war and regime change, not peace and stability.

Passivity in the face of its aggression encourages more of it. Failure to supply Syria with S-300 air defense systems left it vulnerable to repeated attacks – in my judgment heading for something much more serious than already.

The only effective way to deal with US, Israeli and allied aggression is by confronting it forcefully – something you haven’t done, encouraging escalation, I believe things likely heading for full-scale war you haven’t tried to prevent, relying on failed diplomacy.

I’ve explained confronting Washington forcefully is high-risk. Failure to do it, I believe, is higher risk.

Appeasement doesn’t work with hegemons – not with Hitler ahead of WW II or bipartisan extremists in Washington now, their actions risking unthinkable nuclear war if not confronted and stopped.

I urge you to reconsider your current strategy in dealing with Washington. It surrounded Russia with hostile military bases, imposed countless illegal sanctions on numerous individuals and entities.

Your government was falsely accused of “aggression” in Ukraine, “annexing” Crimea, involvement in downing MH-17, meddling in America’s electoral process, interfering in European and upcoming Mexican elections, Brexit, mass doping athletes, mischief-making Russian trolls and bots, cyberwar, sabotage, hybrid warfare, the Skripal incident and more – endless US hostility, including vicious propaganda proliferated by government officials and supportive media.

Failure to forcefully confront US rage for dominance encourages escalated belligerence. Appeasing or inattention to hegemonic Washington risks something far more serious ahead than already.

In the interest of world peace and stability, I strongly urge you to challenge US aggression in Syria to prevent having to defend your homeland against it.

You understand all of the above far better than I do. I wish you’d pursue a course I believe is most effective in dealing with hegemonic Washington and its warmaking partners.

Challenging their imperial agenda forcefully is the only language they understand, the only effective strategy. Years of diplomacy accomplished nothing.

Nor will it ahead with Washington. Continuing what hasn’t worked is defeatism. I hope henceforth you’ll go a different way.
