On the news yesterday: “Putin asked the Donetsk People’s Republic to delay the Donetsk People’s Republic referendum on May 11th, 2014!”
This was an interesting move by Putin and today the finish of that move happened…
On the news today: “The council of the Donetsk People’s Republic won’t postpone the referendum on their region’s future as part of Ukraine, and will hold it as planned on May 11,” said Donetsk People’s Republic officials…
Now anyone who understands what is going on over here, would have known immediately that what Putin was talking about yesterday on the news, was the prerequisite to laying the ground work to putting the pieces in order as the west tries to manipulate and destroy Russia through Ukraine…
Therefore, the west begged, threatened and blackmailed Putin to tell them (DPR) to stop and he did! The issue is that East Ukraine is not Russia and they do not want to be in Ukraine under a Neo-Nazi government. They have a right to decide for themselves, for the real government of Ukraine was destroyed by western backed terrorists…
Putin is not their president and Putin humored the western world, by his actions. The outcome was preordained and set in stone, but the west wanted Putin to stop, what he is “NOT” doing in the first place…
But, Putin will most likely be doing just what he has not been doing, if the west keeps this round-robin up, as in games and manipulations…
This Donetsk People’s Republic issue will most likely start a chain reaction and I see panic building in the west over all this…
If the west does not watch it, Russia will take East Ukraine and they will do it in a heartbeat. Though I do believe Putin, when he says that he has no desire for anymore of Ukraine’s land… (Really I do!) 😉
Therefore, the ball is in the western world’s court and if they want to keep things from escalating, they need to grow up and get a life…

I have murdered too many cellphones, I am starting to feel bad over the wake of death I have left behind me with cellphones. To be fair, I have not destroyed them all myself. I have lost one when I was hit by a truck. The rest of them, I guess I killed by either dropping, soaking, smashing, falling and a variety of other ways, such as playing with the operating system…
Well I killed my favorite cellphone of all the other day. The indestructible Konka W880 bit the dust as I fell down some stairs out back. The phone broke my fall and saved me, but it suffered. It actually did not physically suffer visible damage, but something inside gave and it went to its grave. That proved my point, “Three Hundred pound bears can hurt when they fall on you!”
So I have gone retro and BlackBerry, I decided to buy a BlackBerry Pearl 8820 Flip phone. It has been ordered and since they are old, like me, they cost very little, around $50 including shipping from Asia. In a few weeks it will be here…
I was able to get my scratched and almost defunct LG GW-620 going and am using it. It still works, but the screen was soft and scratched easily. I have ordered a new screen housing cover and will try to replace it myself. Oh, that could be a murder waiting to happen…

Introducing to you the new, globalist American army: USAREUR… While Americans sleep, Obama and his team move unstoppable toward the globalization of America, whose military most certainly will become EURAMER or something like that because the end of America as such is coming.
Once again, the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner, American President Barack Hussein Obama, is preparing for action. This time, American troops are ready to step in for “helpless” Ukrainians facing pro-Russian troops. Meanwhile, back at home, the military are going through hard times. They are facing a historical record number of sexual rapes which, according to The Pentagon show a 50 percent increase in reports of sexual assault in 2013 over the previous year. Nine senior commanding generals have been fired, leading to speculation by active and retired members of the military that a purge of commanders is underway. Weakening the military more, the Obama Administration also succeeded in erasing all mention of Muslim terrorism, as well as the jihad threat, from FBI instruction books, training manuals of Department of Defense, CIA and others. No doubt keen on dropping Sept. 11 in the bin of history, the Nobel Peace Barack Hussein Obama has decided to deeply reduce the American army. His would be the smallest version of it since the Second World War, resulting from the sharply reduced military budget cut of $496 billion, by far the largest in the world. A week ago, the Commander-in-Chief declared: “Why is it that everybody is so eager to use military force after we’ve just gone through a decade of war at enormous costs to our troops and to our budget?” Then, he added: “Do people actually think us sending some additional arms into Ukraine could deter the Russian army?” Naturally. Instead, Mr. Obama’s Administration has deployed 150 paratroopers to Lithuania, a week before deploying a supplemental 600 U.S. troops to Poland and the NATO Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for infantry exercises. Speaking to reporters in Lithuania, Richard C. Longon, Deputy Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe, said: “I don’t think the deployment of troops is meant to be a message to Russia… It’s a message to anyone who will listen, and the message is that the United States of America will honor its commitments to Lithuania… Let me make this clear: should Lithuania need NATO, I guarantee NATO will be there.” Gen. Longon’s statement subtly introduces a shifting dance of words conveying the new and stronger mix made of the United States of America and NATO as part of the global agenda that countries worldwide are uniting to adopt as theirs. What is the U.S. Army Europe? The public in general may not be privy to “The United States Army in Europe.” In fact, “USAREUR prepares Soldiers and units, builds partnerships, reassures allies, and deters adversaries. We provide forces and participate in a range of operations with multiple Combatant Commands and adapt to a constantly changing security and resource environment.” In other words, USAREUR is America going “global.” Congress provided authority for those troops to be stationed in Europe and the commander of that battlefield has full authority to move them where he deems necessary. In fact, congressional approval is only required when an act of war is to be declared. Recently, an unlikely critic of Obama, the Iranian cleric, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami made harsh comments on Iran’s Channel One. The Middle East MediaResearch Institute (MEMRI) translated them: “Look what they are doing in Ukraine. What is going on there? Who the hell are you to interfere in the affairs of another people? Their vice president went to Ukraine, and a few hours after he left, people were killed there. What is behind these declarations? A cloud of war hangs over that region. This is what is called an ‘aggressive nature.’” Khatami criticized the United States and said that the Iranian president should “punch the American president in the mouth” if he “talks nonsense.” No argument there. Meanwhile, President Putin has refused to forget the uniqueness of his country by adamantly refusing globalization. No matter what his detractors may say, Putin has decided not to give up on the national identity of Russia. A Russian patriot, he refuses to bow to the rule of one global entity, which until now not many in the world know who that may be. Obviously, had President Putin not chosen the anti-globalization path, the globalist Western countries and their obedient medias, would not persist in getting at his throat. And, while President Obama is “tired” and reacts to international press-questions with golf-related answers, as an amateur youngster, at the other end of the world, there is a mature leader who vilified by many because of his rich experience as a former KGB operative is, nevertheless, a seasoned politician who far from being tired is inspired to make his country stronger and, yes, larger. There’s plenty good money to be made, supplying the army with the tools of the trade. Now come on generals let’s move fast, your big chance is here at last. Time you got out and get those Reds, because the only good commie is one that’s dead. You know that peace can only be won, when you blow ‘em all to kingdom come.” Vietnam Song, Country Joe and the Fish, 1969
“Corruption is strangling the land. The police force is watching the people, and the people just can’t understand. We don’t know how to mind our own business, ’cause the whole world’s got to be just like us. Now we are fighting a war over there, no matter who’s the winner we can’t pay the cost. ‘Cause there’s a monster on the loose, it has got our heads into the noose. And it just sits there watching. America, where are you now, don’t you care about your sons and daughters. Don’t you know we need you now, we can’t fight alone against the Monster.” Monster by Steppenwolf, 1969
First, Reduce the Masses Ability to Reproduce
A nation that refuses to take care of all of its mothers and all of its young children has no future.
“The United States was among just eight countries that experienced an increase in maternal death rates since 2003 – joining countries including Afghanistan and El Salvador….’There’s no reason that a country with the resources and the medical expertise that the US has should see maternal deaths going up,’ said Dr. Christopher Murray, Director of Institutes for Health Metrics and Evaluation and a co-founder of the Global Burden of Disease. ‘The next step would be to examine local-level differences in maternal deaths to look for patterns and the drivers behind those patterns,’ reports Jennifer Abel writing in Consumer Affairs. Actually there is a very good reason why the maternal deaths are rising in the USA. Most American leaders really don’t care who in America lives or dies—or why–and neither does the bulk of the American population. The elected representatives are merely a reflection of the callous, hollow nature of a long warring republic.
Emergency preparedness is no longer just for the tornado or snowstorm but for the misery of austerity, job loss, and the aging relative with Alzheimer’s who must move home with the newlyweds because federal benefits have been cut, or, more likely, the diversion of more US resources to the nation’s national security apparatus and its defense industrial base. Mattress savings techniques are coming back.
If there were fully functional representative democracy in the USA—and with that a coherent US National Security Strategy that includes the health and welfare of its domestic infrastructure and its people—the USA would not be collapsing from within even as it stirs up mayhem, enmity and civil war nearly everywhere around the globe: Ukraine, Georgia, Syria, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Egypt, Pakistan and Xinjiang (PRC) are home to scores of overt and covert US officials, if not activity duty foreign internal defense operators. Dozens of 501C3, not for profit, non-governmental organizations–f
It is laughable that they proclaim as their mission “the teaching” of American values to foreigners. More’s the pity is the millions of US dollars being given to the usurper government in Ukraine to ensure a “free and fair” election in that country. President Obama says this: “The United States is contributing an $11.4 million package to support the integrity of the May 25 elections. These funds are being used to advance democratic processes – not to support a particular candidate or electoral outcome. These efforts include voter education programs, transparent election administration, effective oversight of the election process, election security and a redress of infractions, and a diverse, balanced and policy-focused media environment.” In short, American law firms, press relation groups and assorted consultants will be under contract to make sure the USA gets the outcome it wants in Ukraine. Some of those organizations that have done business in Ukraine are listed in the Foreign Agents Registration database. Wiley Rein and Tauzin Associates are among them.
Just what are those American values? Maternal death rates on the rise in 2014; 16 million children on some sort of food aid in 2014; 8.2 percent of children born below 2500 grams; 14 percent of Americans unemployed; and crushing debt loads for the bulk of students graduating from America’s colleges and universities. One would never know that the USA has severe structural issues with both its physical and mental infrastructure. Yet those problems are normally blamed not on American citizens/governm
Second, Take Away the People’s Livelihood (but legalize pot first)
According to Work in America: Report of a Special Task Force to the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare (1972): “Our Nation is being challenged by a set of new issues having to do, in one way or another, with the quality of life. This theme emerges from the alienation and disenchantment of blue-collar workers, from the demands of minorities for equitable participation in “the system,” from the search by women for a new identity and by the quest of the aged for a respected and useful social role, from the youth who seek a voice in their society, and from almost everyone who suffers from the frustrations of life in a mass society. Rhetorical, ideological, and partisan responses to these issues abound. But truly effective responses are far more likely to be made if the obscure and complex sources of discontent are sorted out, and the lever of public policy is appropriately placed.
Atonie is a condition of deracination–a feeling of rootlessness, lifelessness and dissociation–a word which in the original Greek meant a string that does not vibrate, that has lost its vitality. Besides lending vitality to existence, work helps establish the regularity of life, its basic rhythms and cyclical patterns of day, week, month, and year. Without work, time patterns become confused. One recalls the drifting in T.S. Eliot’s The Wasteland: What shall I do. . . .What shall we do tomorrow? What shall we ever do? When duration of unemployment has been prolonged, unemployed workers progress from optimism through pessimism to fatalism. Attitudes toward the future and toward the community and home deteriorate. Children of long-term unemployed and marginally employed workers uniformly show poorer school grades. There are so many unconscious and group needs that work meets that unemployment may lead not only to generalized anxiety, but to free-floating hostility, somatic symptoms and the unconscious selection of some serious illnesses.
Albert Camus wrote that ‘Without work all life goes rotten. But when work is soulless, life stifles and dies.’ Our analyses of Work in America leads to much the same conclusion: Because work is central to the lives of so many Americans, either the absence of work or employment in meaningless work is creating an increasingly intolerable situation. The human costs of this state of affairs are manifested in worker alienation, alcoholism, drug addiction, and other symptoms of poor mental health. Moreover, much of our tax money is expended in an effort to compensate for problems with at least a part of their genesis in the world of work. A great part of the staggering national bill in the areas of crime and delinquency, mental and physical health, manpower and welfare are generated in our national policies and attitudes towards work.”
Third, Create War and Send the People to Fight and Die
Well come on all of you big strong men, Uncle Sam needs your help again. He got himself in a terrible jam, way down yonder in Vietnam. Put down your books and pick up a gun, we’re going have a whole lot of fun. And its 1, 2, 3 what are we fighting for? Don’t ask me I don’t give a damn, the next stop is Vietnam. And its 5, 6, 7 open up the pearly gates. Well there ain’t no time to wonder why, we’re all going die (Vietnam Song, Country Joe and the Fish).

Windows to Russia…
No cuss or obscene words in articles or in comments and Russians are backing the desire to clean up the immoral part of their world. I am not sure yet what constitutes a cuss word to the Russian government…
The monitoring of the internet started April 2013 when President Vladimir Putin signed a federal law banning the use of obscene language in “mass media” under threat of fines up to 200,000 rubles…
On Monday this week Vladimir Putin signed into law another bill concerning the use of obscene language in literature and art, including concerts, theatre, plays and public movie shows…
Do I disagree?
No, because I have, since the onslaught and hate that has invaded my comments and emails of my site, Windows to Russia, I have had to put a damper on the situation and I did that many years before the Russian government decided to do the same…
Then I have to express that a huge majority of the Russians will back this type of law, because they simply dislike cussing in any form. I have to say that all in all, the effects that the Russian government intrude in our lives in Russia, have a moral backing to them. Regulations concerning gay agenda, obscenity, morality, church, hate and propaganda makes sense when you see what it has done to the western world…
I have no issues with blocking your, “Call me every name but a white boy!” as you spread hate and discontent all over the world, for I have had my share of that hate right here on this blog…

Windows to Russia…
I know the answer and it is very simple, though it is not based on morals, honesty and peace. The answer is based upon greed, hate and immorality. Therefore, as I sipped that cup of coffee this morning and did some thinking’s, I realized that there is thousands of Little Napoleons running the U.S…
No one is in charge and large in the U.S., No one has the helm, No one has the reins, No one has control and definitely, no one cares except, “Each man for himself and to the victor goes the spoils!”
Now back to the situation…
Russia is trying to understand what is going on and if you try to approach the situation with logic, morals and sense. It just does not make any sense…
I hear asked, “The USA is supporting two exact opposite concepts at the same time, between Syria and Ukraine! Does anyone in America see this?”
Other words, “Why you hate government killing in Syria and support government killing in Ukraine?”
Easy answer, but very hard to understand and accept due to the moral clauses of life…
The answer is; The USA/West does not care about you, me, them, us, I, they, those and in fact anyone. The USA only wants to keep power generated by any means possible. Right now the west is allowing the USA to lead the pack of rabid dogs and the situation has run amok, but who cares? The dogs are all rabid and they all will manifest any situation that interests them, as long as they create power…
Henceforth, we support a terrorist sadistic killing regime in Ukraine and call it the government of Ukraine and they can kill their citizens and have the moral authority blessed upon them by the western world of power. Then at the same time we support a terrorist killing sadistic regime in Syria, but they are against the government of Syria and we bless the terrorists once again, but this time we point fingers at the government and decry the fact that the Syrian government is killing their citizens…
I have no issue in understanding what is going on and I have two eyes that still see very well and I have two ears that hear very well and I have a brain that still functions to a fairly high level…
What the HELL is your problem?

We all pay for life with death, so everything in between should be free. – Bill Hicks…
It just became a lot harder to leave the USA, without governmental control; this bill is simply a way to begin blocking anyone from leaving the USA at anytime. With a simple stroke of the pen the president of the U.S. is able to keep people from traveling to any country, for any reason. All you have to do is say, “I think they are terrorists and therefore I will keep people safe by not going there!”

Windows to Russia…
As the fog of war descends, it is important to shout a few main points from the rooftops before they get lost in the details. A coup-appointed junta in Kiev, designed, engineered and controlled from Washington, has begun a massive armed assault on its citizens in the east. This supreme and original war crime, reinforced by the Nuremburg Tribunal, is no longer in doubt. Nor can there be any more doubt about who is pulling the strings. The illegitimate junta have pulled out all the stops, as their IMF masters demanded they do just the other day. Pointedly–and tellingly–the mafia enforcer organization of western capital issued a statement saying that the crushing austerity agreement–already a death sentence in its own right–might have to be ‘revised’ if the chosen cabal could not control the rebellious and resource rich eastern regions, the grand prize in the whole ‘democracy’ charade. The junta, using a rump military and their fascist shock troops, has dutifully complied–a shameful and disgusting moment in world history. It is also, however, a moment that I think will be transformative in ways we can’t even yet understand.
For a moment, I was afraid that in a fully militarized phase the resistance would be less able to access its chief asset–the people. When war breaks out, soldiers are not forced to confront the humanity of their opponents, and we would no longer see scenes like cordons of ordinary people trying to stop tanks with their bare hands. I was wrong again, I fully admit. The struggle, like life, teaches me something new every day. The people’s resilience is love itself, and I am in awe of their courage; I wake up every morning glad to be alive because I’m glad they are still alive.
And a giant middle finger to the “peace” community, the apologists of the war machine, and especially liberals and elements of the first world left who are always the last to see that their purist intellectual detachment is always–*always*–suspiciously close to empire’s agenda, who watch (and cheerlead!) while the US and its proxies slaughter innocents and thwart the will of the people from Afghanistan to Zaporozhye.
The League of Nations (let’s call a spade a spade) is dead. They have exposed themselves as an eager and unabashed tool of western supremacy and apologist for the crimes of empire. They will be discarded along with the other detritus of the old world. UNjust, UNequal, and UNwilling to break the yoke of the western paradigm, I think the organization is much worse than useless. I actually think this is the death knell for the UN, along with the IMF/EU/NATO and all the other western organizations who act in concert to try to force billions of people to believe that 2 + 2 = 5. They are the problem, and they have no solutions. As it should be–for as Eduardo Galleano gently reminded us, “it would be strange if the remedy should come from the United States, the same place which brings us the disease.”
Amid the lies and distortions of a bought-and-sold press and a government propaganda machine, we can still cut through the bullshit and see the hustlers for what they are: pitchmen of a war machine hell bent on selling us more death and destruction. We all have it within us to refuse the pitch. Each of us has the ability to grasp a Michael Corleone moment, in that scene from The Godfather in Havana in 1959, when he knew instinctively that he was right and Hyman Roth was wrong. He was no fan of the revolution, but he saw that it was a bad investment when Castro’s revolutionaries would rather kill themselves than be captured.
The current crisis presents many such opportunities, not the least of which are those stories and images of people stopping tanks with their own bodies. One moment of particular clarity for me came in an absolutely stunning interview by Graham Phillips of a man on the street in Kramatorsk, who condensed what it’s all about in two and a half minutes for the people of East Ukraine. Eloquent, impassioned and clear, it still brings a lump to my throat.
“Furthermore, the Banderites who have now come here and want to impose their ideology on us have given us a precious gift because they have awakened for us in East Ukraine our patriotism, which had been dormant for many years.
“This happened because people had forgotten more or less who they used to be, who they had become. The collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 led to a kind of depression. People saw this event, the collapse of the Soviet Union, as a kind of natural disaster. The Soviet Union fell apart, and the rain came. People didn’t understand what had happened–they were demoralized, they used to believe in their leaders.
“Now people understand that it is not necessary to believe in leaders. We don’t need to believe in any Yanukovich, we don’t need to believe in a Party of Regions. We need to organize ourselves *by* ourselves–and to remember our own history, remember our own culture. That is our foundation.
“So thank you to all the Banderites who have come into Kiev, and who have made people remember who they are, who they are in the world, and above all *why* they are here on this earth.”
Filter this in among the ludicrous and increasingly obvious slanders about “pro Russian separatists,” “pro Russian Russians” and other ill fitting and deliberately vilifying terms to synch up with the ginned-up Russophobia now polluting virtually all western airwaves. One might consider the similarly bizarre yet more honest term “pro self selves,” or “pro self humans.” Or simply, “People who object to being killed.”
As the helicopters and missiles start flying, you can feel the desperation of a people under attack, as in this more pointed Letter from East Ukraine, from those whose grandparents fought and died to defeat fascism:
“Each Banderite scum, each rat of the National Guard and other gangs must know this: you came to our land with weapons! You’ve come to kill us in our land! So don’t expect any mercy from us! You will find only grim death! Because you have not yet tasted Slavic-Russian anger! But it will overwhelm you in a severe, violent flame! Do you think we are afraid? We, Russians in the South-East afraid? You are very, very deeply mistaken. And not many of you will be able to understand, as few of you will get to return from the South-East.
“So ask your parents, wives, sisters, from the heart to prepare coffins for their husbands, sons and brothers. Or at least a place in the cemetery, as most of the bodies may be hard to find.
“We have nowhere to retreat and we are Russians, though for a while yet with Ukrainian passports. We are Russians, who never give up! We will defend ourselves to the last bullet, the last grenade, to our last breath! And if we die, we die for the glory of the Russian land! We will never be under the Banderite fascist scum!
Brothers, Slavs, Russians, if we perish, avenge us. Death to fascism!”
Even more astonishing, beyond geography and cultural ties, an experiment in Western Ukraine is quite eye opening. Ukranian TV in the central western town of Zhytomir sent Maidan activists posing as armed south-eastern rebels to the town center asking for directionsThey were apparently quite surprised that local residents willingly helped them – even giving details on how to avoid police checkpoints. Then they stood for a time–armed–by the local police station, and no one paid them any attention. In other words, the mask is off, and the junta is done.
Massive, suppressive violence is the only way for the western puppet junta to maintain power. They will kill a good number of people, but their deaths will be avenged, and the world will be transformed. It is an amazing moment.
I often dig into my repertoire of Irish Republican songs, a wellspring of sentiment that defines moments like these, encapsulating the often vulgar determination of a people with their backs to the wall:
Go on home, British soldiers, go on home
Have you got no fucking homes of your own?
For eight hundred years we have fought you without fear
And we’ll fight you for eight hundred more
A new world is arising right before our eyes, and those who still don’t see it will be consigned to the dustbin of history. Are you ready? Do you hear the people sing? The heroic people of Southeast Ukraine are taking a stand for us all, on behalf of the peoples of the world and against the sick and sorry world the Washington consensus wants to sell us. It is developing and unfolding now, and we can’t quite predict its course. We do, however, have the power to choose whether we want to be on the right side of history. In the words of the old gospel spiritual:
Get on board, little children
Get on board, little children
Get on board, little children
The ark is a gonna move!

Windows to Russia…
Curiosity is still prevalent after death and this cemetery that Sveta and I just did some work at for a family member that has passed away, is full of curious souls…
We basically got it done and I need to make one more trip to finalize everything. Fix the gate, clean some more and Sveta wants and I agree, that we need to turn the lettering on the stone to black color from a white tint. In the image the stone we set, is laying at an angle downward from the old stone, so the water drains and the lettering on the stone is just too weak. They said only white or gold color when the stone was purchased? I have been asking why no black? But hey I am American; right!
Then after I set the stone and read it once again, then as I sat there and felt the eyes on me from all directions and I shuddered with the energies that flowed all over the cemetery. I said, “5 years! It has been five years since she died!”
Sveta looked at me and then I saw the realization hit her also and we both realized how much time we have been together and how much we are going through together. I also sat and thought about what the future is going to bring, for things are going to get rough…
A babushka and her granddaughter appeared at the graveside next to ours. I was able to see tradition at work, as the two cleaned up the enclosed area, left crumbled cake on the enclosed table, sprinkled grain seeds on the grave-site, left other tidbits of crackers and food stuffs. The young granddaughter worked so hard and the babushka was a happy grandma!
Sveta and I did not do all that as they did, but the souls were happy just the same with what we did… 🙂
