The Fish Village makes most of their equipment…

I got to observe guys finishing a boat. It was in the main village and they were putting the last coat of tar on the seams. It is a heavy cumbersome boat, but they work and they are getting better as the years go by. I remember that the first boats they started to make several years ago, virtually sank as fast as they put them in the water, then they must have found the right recipe for boat making…

The boats they make now, are solid built and from what I see, almost unsinkable (I have seen them paddle them back to shore full of water, after tipping and the wood always keeps the boat at the surface.) At least they do the job perfect for feeding the fish from. They look good and seem to be able to sit for weeks in the lakes and not take on water. Looks like they found someone who can build a boat and they need to keep him…

But oh my, they are heavy and I see them take 4 guys to move them. I would like to have one though…

Then I discovered a huge barn, that they have in the fish village and I saw that they weave their own fishing nets in that barn. They were stretching this huge net and four women were working in conjunction together, the end result was a woven net and they can make them as big or small as they need. The cord they used to make it was being fed from a huge spindle like device mounted on the back of a small tractor and they just unwound what they needed as they needed it. After the four women wove, a fifth woman clamped something at all the connections that they had made. I assume that is to keep everything from unraveling easily…

This fish village also now has its own lumber mill and they have a fish feed processor somewhere, but I have not found that operation yet. I have found the barn they keep it all in after it is processed, but I am seeing huge trucks that come down a logger road and they bring the fish pellets from some elven house in the woods. This road is not fit for man or beast and while it may have been a byway at one time, it is terrible now. These trucks are like logging trucks, just hauling fish feed… 🙂

I would like to know what the feed is made from, for people use it for chickens, geese and other animals also…

They literally make everything for this village and in Russia that just makes sense…

This fish village does not rely up on modern tech to make it function and the only real issue I see is electricity. Electricity powers the pumps and that means water to fill the lakes. They have huge generators, but that is only good for as long as you have fuel. I know what I would do! I would get a stream powered turbine for the river and use the current to power the pumps. It is fast enough…

Or get a wind turbine and utilize the constant breeze that blows through this valley…
