Russia will always be “under the gun”, so to speak, from the western countries who see it as a competitor to the west’s world authoritarianism. Russia for a longtime now has offered an ait of stability existing surrounded by flowing waters of hate. Russia is hated for its diversity of people, faiths, culture and soul. Russian Soul is a good description of its historic past, all within its organization and teachings.
In such a repressive world environment it is a natural consequence that Russia must develop technology attuned to itself, so as not to be held hostage. When Constantinople fell in 1453, Christianity was forced by blockage to moved eastward under constant coercion. What developed from this spreading was a varied fake sects in the western world. Thus it could be called a “Santa Claus Christianity” where Churches were turned into burlesque side shows. They tried to kill true Christianity with the Bolshevik Revolution, but you have serious renascences since 30 years now within Russia….the Orthodox has flourished again…
