MOSCOW, December 2 (Itar-Tass) – Russian audiences have sent in about 700,000 questions to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who is expected to appear in a major annual question-time show on Russian television and radio Thursday afternoon.
Officials at the Prime Minister’s press service said they have received about 470,000 telephone calls, 150,000 sms messages and 37,000 letters to the program’s Internet site at www.moskva-putinu.ru.
Putin will face the nation on major television and radio channels and also via the Internet December 3 as part of a tradition that has taken shape over the past eight years.
Mobile television units will be placed in different parts of the country for people to be able to ask questions live on the air.
