~~ The coffee granules used to taste better, now it’s the dust of the Brazilian roads. ~~

Up and down with the ages, coffee!

That perfect beverage that jump starts dead people and tastes like bitter heaven on earth…

“Nescafe Classic” use to be a perfect coffee and now it’s the, “Dust of the Brazilian roads”…

Remember the USA coffee drink “Postum” (the one that grew up on the bones of barley, molasses and sweeping dust from the barn floor) & more stuff. It was a normal blessed coffee to the likes of Latter-Day Saints, Seventh-Day Adventists, and Mormons…

My life has included ground acorns that were used to make coffee, as were multiples of various roasted chicory and grains within the USA and Soviet Union both. Soviets as we did in the US even drank beetroot when nothing else was available…

Nescafe Gold has become the old Nescafe Classic and Classic has become, the dust of the Brazilian roads…

Anyone got some Postum? Beetroot? Sweepings?

Grumbling aside…

Coffee is a barometer of existence. And it hits East and or West the same…

An existence that is worldwide in its effects. You know I can handle any slump and disaster anywhere in the world. But, when coffee gets messed up? That is too much…

The world will face coffee shortages for an “unprecedented” third year in a row due to lower-than-expected harvest from top grower Brazil, according to coffee trader Volcafe.

~~ Sweep harder Brazil. ~~
