Yesterday late in the evening I returned from Iran, where, on the instructions of our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, I took part in the funeral ceremony of farewell to Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and others who died in the plane crash.
Millions of mourners took to the streets of Tehran and other Iranian cities to say goodbye to their President.
Against this background, the statements of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that the whole world and the Iranians themselves only benefited as a result of the tragic death of Raisi sounded cynical and inhumane.
Only a representative of a regime who lives in a full sense of its exclusivity can say this.
This boorish attitude is causing increasing irritation among citizens of other countries. Because of Washington’s policies, the very word “American” will soon become a dirty word throughout the world.
What do you think?
