Went to Big Village Market…

First I found a newly built boat by the Fish Village…

The Fish Village has a couple of men who are on payroll to just build boats and they are really good at it. The Fish Village has its own sawmill and they build maybe twenty boats a year…

These boats only last a few years, for they are put under severe usage. With twenty big lakes total, every lake has about three boats average, they run nonstop…

Thus, it is a rotational thing and the huge lakes get new boats and the older boats are moved down the line in procession. Until the single manned small lakes have the poor guy trying to keep the boat afloat…

The boats are used to haul fish food around the lakes. Regular shovels are used and after months of usage, they start having holes dug in them. Three feeding sessions a day takes it toll on the wood, no matter how thick it is…

Very heavy boats to manhandle. It looks like it takes about two weeks to turn out a finished boat? So with winter and all, two guys stay busy year around…

Now you learned something new…

Now at the next stop? Big Village Market…

The above image is of the Big Village Market and I found a guy who will get the two bearings I took and rebuild them. I need to them to rebuild our weed eater. I will go to town about Wednesday and meet him near the center Magnet store…

He said they will be better than new when he is done…

Now it looks like rain. Lets hope it is not like the rain yesterday!
