I was drinking my cup of coffee and was thinking about one of the favorite Russian fish to eat…

The Grass Carp!

In a grocery store in Russia you can go to the fresh fish area and you will find in many cases, live Grass Carp in a big tank. This fish is a delicacy to Russians and when it is in season you can buy the carp even on the side of the roads, for the trucks will sell to anyone that stops them. All centers of villages will have trucks sitting and selling carp to the people that live there. Carp is big business and our village is part of that business…

Those carp are raised and sold from the ponds that our village is part of and I have learned a lot about the carp business, by watching the ponds being worked…

When we go to the Village, we drive by hundreds of acres of Ponds or lakes as you will call them. The lakes are man made and they are full of Carp. These lakes were built 50 plus years ago in the era of the Soviet Union. Every lake has a guard shed, that people live in year around to to keep an eye on the fish and strangers…

Now I know that most Americans are making faces at the thought that Grass Carp is the fish of choice. America loves its Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Bluegill, Trout, anything but Grass Carp!!!

I was raised on grass carp and mud cats. They were easy to catch and grandma knew how to clean and cook them…

But it makes sense: The Grass Carp is a fast growing, easy to care for fish. It can, in a short time create a lot of food for the masses. So when introduced and farmed by the Soviet Union, it was the ideal fish. Besides the way Russians fix it, It Is Good!

Everyday that I live in Russia: I learn something new, everyday that I am in Russia: I realize that just because we grow up doing things a certain way, does not mean that it is the only way!

What stands between electricity and no electricity. Scary looking huh?

When I see the transformer in the last picture, I sometimes get an image of H.G. Wells “War of the Worlds!” I can just imagine this thing stomping all over humanity, as it tries to take over the world…

In the third picture down, notice the Yagis antenna at the top of the phone. That is the inspiration for my escapades in getting better internet and it worked…

In the second picture down from the top. That is a old gate, that was put in a new hole I made in the fence. It works and it works good, now I come and go from the back side, where I park the car…

The top picture is the village house and it is perfect…

It is cloudy 95% of the time here and so the photos are dreary and dim. That is pretty normal for Russian weather, cloudy and a chance of rain…

Yes by the way! If you see a Boza in a picture, that is because he is like my shadow and goes everywhere with me as I explore the world. He is a buddy and it is great when Sveta is here, for then I have two buddies to explore the world with…

Windows to Russia…

I hear people try to explain how the governmental forces in the US would never attack the people of the country. The civilians would be safe for no one would attack her own people, Right? Brother will not fight brother. Son would not fight father. Mother would not kill daughter. Friends would not turn on friends…

Well, to start with, just step back a short time ago in our history and look at the Civil War between the North and the South. To make this part short; All the above happened in the American Civil War and a whole bunch more on top to boot…

My dad’s side of the family was badly split by that civil war and it never reassembled after that. many deaths involved on both sides and brothers killed brothers. I have a book that explains the Keeton involvement in the Civil War and it was not pretty…

But hey that was many years ago and during a time when we still were barbarians and such. The world has changed a bunch since then and we would never kill our own people, not in this day of civilization and us perfect people would never dream of killing our brothers…

Time to focus on Ukraine; Ukraine should hit home with many of you reading this article…

Ukraine is a country just like America and the people in Ukraine would never have dreamed that the government would send the army against her people and then they were stunned when the army killed them. Their own flesh and blood turned against them and killed them with no remorse…

That my friends is what will happen in America, for the men who will come after you and kill you if you raise up against the government of America is the same men as in Ukraine killing their families and friends…

Time to face reality and the longer we wait for the other guy to fix it all, the worse it will be when we are fed up with all that is happening…

Beside it is too late, America is a Military State and that is signed sealed and delivered…

Windows to Russia…

This tale ended with all okay, but it could have turned out deadly, for when Boza and I went hunting for creatures like bear, lions and tigers, we never expected to come across the ruler of the lands and the ponds nearby, of course; A giant elephant eating hedgehog…

We had been confused as to why there was a lack of lions, elephants and other such wild creatures in the area and now we had our fears confirmed. What with a killer Chihuahua in the village (Link) and the surrounding territory being ransacked by a viscous carnivore of a hedgehog, we are at the mercy of nature it seems…

It started like this: Boza and I were stealthily walking, looking for any sign of prey, we had decided that a lion sandwich tonight would be a good thing to eat and maybe a tiger leg to chew on would be a good second best. That was when we heard the sound…

The dreaded huffing and popping noise that is associated with death in the fields. All creatures young and old, big or small, even weak or tough, run for the hills and hide when you hear such a sound…

Pop pop pop pop pop – hiss huff – hiss huff – pop pop pop pop – huff huff huff…

But since Boza and I are either stupid or the bravest hunters on earth, we searched the grasses for the creature making these noises and we found him and to say the least, he was pissed off and did not appreciate me taking pictures of his attitude as it was happening. I gathered from the pile of elephant bones in the nearby field, that he had eaten already and we were very lucky that he did not want a snack for dinner. For I am sure Boza could have outrun him, but I am not sure that I could have…

I recorded the monumental event and then Boza and I turned to thoughts of fighting the creature and Boza looked at me kinda skeptically. All I had brought with me to fight with, was a special walking stick. It is extremely efficient at bringing lions down (with Boza’s help,) but a hedgehog and a hedgehog this big, was a different story. I most likely would not be here telling the store now, if we had confronted such a creature in the wilds…

Therefore, we left quietly and swiftly

Therefore again, Boza and I will gather our strength, weapons and abilities that have been finely honed to protect the lands with and hunt another day, when we are more assured of victory against a superior foe…

Windows to Russia…

Eighteen days (Actually 16 days left, but who is counting?) of sticking a needle in my leg and then following up with about a month of pills to subsidize the same stuff I just injected. It is called Vessel Due F and it is suppose to help with plaque in the veins and arteries. Plus, I get to do this twice a year for the rest of my life…

To be honest, I think it helps and it only is an issue while I am taking it. It does cause some headaches and such, but again who is counting? The benefits outweigh the detriment during dosage…

As per usual, I can waltz into a drugstore and receive this medication prescription free, yes as in free (No doctor charges a fortune to write a note from mommy to tell the pharmacist to give me what I need to get well!) and that is the same for 100% of my medications and every medication I take everyday, is a prescription drug in America. A drug that you can not get without a note from mommy. That is that freedom thingy situation, that I keep talking about. That tidbit of real freedom…

Now I did not say cost free, but I will say that medicines are an eighth the cost of the same in the western world, called America. Oh, but I forgot, you have Obamacare now and that makes it all better…

I am going to add another thinking to this post, as I just came back from walking Boza for an hour…

Sveta left yesterday to go back to Moscow and that makes Boza and I sad. The thing about all this is that Sveta has rediscovered her love for the village. She, like her mom, lost the love of the village. The Russian family is very big on what is best for the kid in the family and this village home was a purchase long ago for the baby in the family, Misha. Misha is grown and getting ready to get married himself and he has no interest in the village, what so ever. That act alone destroyed the desires of the rest of the family and therefore, the village home went the wayside…

It was more than just that Misha lost the desire for the village, he never had much choice, as they used the village to fulfill the aspect that Russians believe that children should spend as much time in the country as possible. Russian children need to be exposed to nature, animals and fresh air. The village also lost the grandpa that knew and cared to fix the home and land. He died just before I came to Russia and it has taken me years to get the blessings of everyone to continue working on the village property and that is what I am doing. Erasing the effects of time and weather on the home…

Now Sveta has gained a new purpose in the Russian Village called Sunrise to Freedom and she is in love with the village again. She wants to live here again and she sees that I am getting better, much better, now that I have left the crushing pressure of Moscow. That includes any city in my case, for cities are for strange people in my eyes and countryside is for real life and real people…

I use to say, “As long as I can piss off my back porch and no one can see me, or care, then I still have freedom!”

Thank God I found that freedom again…

U.S. citizens have no desire or interest in supporting a neo-Nazi coup government in the Ukraine, and yet the U.S. government not only supports it, but even initiated it. Similarly, citizens of the E.U. have no desire or interest in losing relatively inexpensive Russian gas, but the E.U. governments have endangered that supply by supporting the coup in the Ukraine, and even by halting construction of an alternative pipeline. As such, we are no longer representative democracies, and we the people are paying for that. I say turn off the gas! Maybe the coup will run out of gas…

Time to turn it off and send the gas to the east, where they will appreciate it and pay for it…

I woke at 5am and the first thing I see is more reports and videos on West / Kiev Ukraine using white phosphorous on her East Ukraine people. Then I see where in a form of retaliation, a transport plane with at least 30 paratroopers from West Ukraine, has been blown out of the sky and all dead…

Okay; Well I call that civil war and there is nothing else to call it. The more Kiev does to try to stop it the worse it is going to get. East Ukraine does not want to be part of the immoral, corrupt and western controlled West Ukraine. The failed country is now very much a East Ukraine and West Ukraine and the American back West Ukraine is doing nothing but killing the east and now the East Ukraine is starting to fight back…

The East Ukraine has been slowly waking up to the monstrosities that the West Ukraine has been doing to them. Seems to me that Ukraine was never a unified country like Syria is and deserves to be ripped in half, unless they get Ukraine pride going and pull together against the western propaganda and corruption…

You see a big difference between Syria and Ukraine and exactly the same tactics were used on both of them. It failed in Syria as the people are really behind the government, as the government is behind the people and it succeeds in Ukraine because the government is against the people and the people distrust the government…

Me thinks that there is a lesson for the USA to render out of these messes they are creating…

Therefore, lets see what is happening right now as I write this…

Libya is in a definite civil war, even while the media has done its best to stymie the happenings there. Libya is in the state it is because of western intervention…

Syria is not in a civil war, but the media in the west tries to convince you they are. For a civil war is good people against evil people. Not a country against terrorists created by the west…

Iraq, which has never ceased to be in a civil war, has exploded back on the scene and showed its little face of civil war to the world, a face that never went away and once again was created by the USA…

Afghanistan is a permanent civil war that shows how stupid the U.S. really is; We created the mess in Afghanistan during Soviet times and are so arrogant that we even stepped in and got our ass whipped just like the Soviets did. Except we did not have a proxy war, USA country, trying to support everyone against the Soviets winning. We failed on our own… (Think about that one a few minutes!)

Ukraine is in a civil war and the western media is trying real hard to do the opposite of what they do in Syria, and ignore the truth and create the facts as they see fit to see them. Once again Ukraine is a created situation to allow the west to manipulate the geopolitical situation in the world…

As always in the western world, what you see on media, is not what is happening 95% of the time in the world.

You know what?

America is way past time for a civil war (Like in Ukraine – government, plus government sympathizers against real people (Rebels)) on her shores and just like in the last civil war in America between the North and South, other countries need to run weapons, supplies, food and other nice things to the Rebels” against the government in America and let the best side win…

It is time and if you are in America and stop just long enough to smell the coffee and look around while you smell that coffee, you may find that the American governmnet is gearing up for civil unrest and you are the target, just like I am, if you speak against the powers, who think they are gods…

Hide little bird, hide! For I see you are scared…

Or until the Empire collapses… (And as Britain found out, forever is a long time even when they collapsed!)

It is a no-brainer when it comes to Iraq and many other countries that the U.S. has interfered in. As I have written many times, “I am sure glad the war is over in Iraq!”

Now that the war is over and been over, we can get down to the business of spending the rest of our lives paying for interfering in a sovereign country and making it our business, for business reasons and killing America for a dollar…

We declared war over in Iraq and we never accomplished a damn thing, except to hunt one man down, using billions of dollars and building walls of concrete all over Baghdad, so that we could kill the civilians easier…

Obama goes on record over the new developments in Iraq as saying…
 
“The basic principal obviously is that we, like all nations, are prepared to take military action whenever our national security is threatened,” Says president Obama!
 
So it’s OK for USA to invade Iraq for our security?
Therefore, I guess it’s also OK for Russian to invade Ukraine for their security also?
 
Just stop talking Obama! You sounding more and more like the fool and puppet you are everyday!

By the way; this Iraq flare up coincides perfectly with the fact that Ukraine is using white phosphorous on her people in east Ukraine. This also is timed to cover the fact that 10’s of thousands of people are streaming across the border into Russia to escape being killed. Ukrainians are lucky, many have family in Russia and have a way to get into the country safely…

What is happening is exactly what a small percent of people want in the world. Destroy a country and own that country, only issue is that the majority of the people in the west, would prefer to have a stable better life themselves and not spending trillions of dollars trying to destroy the world at large. A world that never did a damn thing to them…

Well back to the business at hand, it is time to help blow up some more people in Iraq…

For somehow our security is threatened all the way to the great shores of the USA…

Windows to Russia…

I had a grandmother that had a rough life. She, like many grandma’s of grouchy guys like me, lived through the depression times and did somethings that they would normally not do in life. I remember clearly a story that grandma would tell to me, many times over many years…

Always ask who, what, why and when…
 
When I was a young girl, I came upon a small town and it had a small town mayor. The mayor had big town desires and he hired me to work in his office. I was young and naive and I needed money. Well one thing lead to another and I being a single girl and infatuated with this Swedish Mayor of a small township near Kansas City, Mo. I became entangled with a married man, who had no intention of leaving his wife and kids, for a young tramp like me…
 
Long story short; I ended up pregnant, ostracized and left to die on the outskirts of the town. I ended up at a farm house with a man much older than I and he and his kids my age accepted me and he married me to give my kid a name and family…
 
The nice older man was named Alfred and he was a German from the old country. He had come to America, lost his wife in childbirth? and was raising kids alone and trying to work a farm, plus run a grocery store downtown Kansas City during the depression…
 
He taught me one thing before I learned anything else. Before you do anything, before you leap, before you speak, before you run, jump, climb, scream, dance and before you do anything at all. Ask yourself questions and ask questions of everyone around you. For while no particular answer is the key, the combinations of all answers, gives you the ability to make decisions in life…
 
This man (Your Grandpa, as she looked at me and said, “You are a spiting image of him!”) taught me to ask;
 
Who? What? Why? When?
 
After sometime had passed and I became comfortable at the farm. I asked some questions…
 
I asked “Who” are you?
I asked “What” are your intentions for the future?
I asked “Why” do you care?
I asked “When” do I have to leave?
 
Alfred (Grandpa) said, “I am a man from the old country (known back then as Germany.) I plan on letting you stay if you desire or leave if you feel strong enough. You may leave the child or keep the child, for you are an individual and have to stand on your own two feet! I care, as I care for all those I feed and know that I will never get paid back. I am a man who could not turn you away in the eyes of God. You never have to leave, but you must carry your weight, just as everyone else does…”
 
Therefore I stayed and in less than a year, I married Alfred, gave my baby girl a name and found myself in a family of Germans, who accepted me (Not without issues though!) and I raised his kids and mine, and we mostly were all the same age. I had one more child and she was, by the son of Alfred and that was interesting times for a few years…
 
Alfred was over 40 years older than I and with that, grandma ended the story as she did many times…

That story above is how a family like mine, full of Germans ended up with a Swedish member in the family. Grandma’s first born was from a man who had only several years before, came from Sweden…

Oh and yes, grandma was Swedish and that I figured out on my own and that was why the attraction in the first place to a Swedish Mayor of a little township called Raytown, Mo. many years ago…

I was taught by this same woman to ask, Who, What, Why and When…
