Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus Marmite – MIUI 7.7.6 ROM


My very tough and successful phone is a Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus.

I jimmied rigged a case for it and have been very happy for a very long time now. I took a side flip case and chopped it up and created a bottom flip phone case. Ugly, but it works and I am happy… 😉

I bought it because of the OS was Cyanogenmod and that sold me upon the phone. The quality is something that I hoped was good and by it being from a British company, I had high hopes. Cyanogenmod failed us buyers of the phone real quick and that caused Wileyfox to scramble and successfully (?) switch us all to the latest and greatest Android. They worked hard at the transformation and are still working at what should have been a dream phone with Cyanogenmod…. The Android 7 works okay and is appropriate for just a normal user…

I love the phone and it hardware wise has excelled beyond what I could have imagined for such a cheap price. It was only around 7000 rubles by the time I bought it…. This phone is excellent, except for the software. This is something that I finally solved…

I tried Lineage 13, Lineage 14, MIUI 8, Android 6, Android 7, plus several other oddball ROMS and even tried staying with the original OS Cyanogenmod. They all failed in many ways. Mostly from butter smooth Android, using the battery up at a hellish pace, to the original OS being still green under the hood. Not everything worked with LineageOS and the MIUI 8 I found was weak and buggy. Then I found a Russian MIUI site… https://miui.su/

Instructions are simple and once you have the correct recovery installed. Go to town and install all the ROMS you can find (One at a time please.) Just do not blame me for blowing up your phone…. and or called bricking it…. This is for only and only the smartphone series by Wileyfox, called (Swift 2) and or (Swift 2 Plus) and or (Swift 2X) with the Marmite designation…. Only! Yes Only!

The link above is the actual ROM and it is called – (miuisu_v6.0.1_marmite_7.7.6) – which makes it based off of Marshmallow Android…

Simply put; It is a damn fine ROM and will stay as my main driver until the phone finally dies. I get three days of battery out of it, the GPS works perfect, the phone part works perfect and is smooth as a babies backside…

Great phone…. It went to Estonia and in a week (5 days) I only had to charge it once…

Korolov, Russia is where we live…


Korolov is about 200,000 people. It is located just outside of Moscow, but is actually a small area of the whole mess called Moscow Region… Moscow has about 15,000,000 people, including immigrants who are never counted…. The day time during the week is more like 20,000,000 people as they all pour into Moscow from the Moscow region which has around 8,000,000 people in it total. Much of the work force of Moscow is fluctuating everyday. The people come and work the week, then leave to go home the weekends…

Sveta rides her bike safely around Korolov all the time. Korolov is a very safe city, just like 99% of all of Russia is safe. Women do not have to fear the men here… (I would say it is more like the men fear the women….especially the babushkas.)

Kids love goats in Russia. The goat is an extremely important animal. It supplies milk and such. They all know what goats are for a typical Russian kids spends a third of his life in a dacha and or a village…

Russia is advancing forward and is intelligent about it…


Russia has made smart changes economically due to sanctions, before sanctions Russia was growing at 4% and flying along, then America illegally imposed sanctions over falsification of facts. Now we see Russia with a debt to GDP ratio of around 12% (USA 107%, UK 85% and Italy 133%), Russia has bought more Gold than any country for the past 3 years and is now the 3rd largest Gold producer in the world, Russia has around $400bn in foreign exchange (USA $115bn), Russia is the world’s largest wheat producer and exporter, Russia has the largest natural resources on the planet, Oil and Gas galore, Russia controls 9 oilfields in Venezuela (to prevent Venezuela defaulting on Russian loans). Russia has rebuilt it’s military on 10% of the USA defense budget, seen success in Syria and introduced many new pieces of equipment too, refined tactics in an operational theater of war, intensified the use of Intelligence Services overseas, Russia is now very close to Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Venezuela, India, China, Syria etc. The “BRICS GROUP” is seen as very attractive and other countries want to join the group, they see power and growth among the group, both militarily and financially. Far from being isolated, we see Turkey and Saudi Arabia buying the S-400 anti-missile systems, Saudi also agreeing a deal to manufacture Kalashnikov Rifles and Kornet anti-tank missile systems inside the Kingdom, so NATO allies are buying Russian weapons. Under sanctions Russia will grow at 2% in 2017. This is from a low debt and very mineral rich country!

Then we have a debt heavy western country, leading the charge off the cliff…. Lets hope that the followers stop before they leap like lemmings…

America has totally lost the trust of Iran and North Korea (I know you don’t care,) we have lost the respect and trust of China and Russia (Now you should care,) we have fully alienated Pakistan, Turkey and perhaps even Saudi Arabia and we are driving everyone into China’s and Russia’s arms. We have exhausted the patience of America’s fair-weather puppets in the EU and East Asian ally area and we have undoubtedly lost control over our own administration and country. The EU has now woke to the fact that the sanctions have been to destroy the Euro, not Russia…

The only danger alerting the world right now, seems to be if America is still powerful enough to do something truly dangerous to the world, but too weak and ill-informed to actually understand what they are doing…. There is a bunch of talk going on behind closed doors all over the world and America is the subject…

And that my friend is the real issue. Not Russia, not the EU, not Iran, not China, not North Korea and not all the propaganda boogeymen under the bed, but it is the USA, who is the issue that is at hand. The USA is flagrantly violating everything from international law, international morals around the world and international financial expectations are being slandered by America daily…

The wind is blowing and it is blowing Eastward…

Americans seem to have Turkey issues…


I see confusion growing in emails and comments, as to why would Turkey wanna hate us sweet lovable Americans?

Bottom line is: America tried to other throw Erdogan and his government in Turkey. Therefore, with a simple role of the dice to see which countries sandbox the bully USA should play in, was a roll of many repercussions…

Turkey will jump like a flea to fresh blood and America has given its arm to chew on…. NATO be damn…. Thus when the other day America said, “The US has suspended the processing of the vast majority of new visas in Turkey after authorities in Istanbul arrested a US embassy employee last week, escalating a brewing diplomatic crisis between the two allies and, in effect, blocking thousands of Turks from travel to the US.”

Turkey already primed with the fact that America tried to overthrow the Turkish government. Has jumped out and started to bite, just as we in the East know that Turkey will do and not care at who says, “What did I do?”

Russia is way too patient, China is way too businesslike, Iran too far removed from hurting America, but Turkey….

Turkey is going, no they are mad at America and they are going to get angry. The anger is boiling right now…

Just to remind you of something; Russia, Iran and even China are now all working together as a partner with Turkey. Yes, this happened all in the last year or so…

Do not run around America and say, “What did I do?”

We Americans allowed our government to try to coop the Turkish government and we failed, almost succeeded, but with a touch of Russian help in the info department, Turkey (Erdogan) came through the attempt…

Just wondered if you even realized all that happened? The Turks are hot headed and now they are getting mad, angry and pissed off. Americans do have Turkey issues…
