Kinda pissed this morning; Good job America close those Russian Consulates…

Why am I pissed?

I am an American and this kind of ignorance on the part of my government is what ruins life for Americans around the world…. This is what makes it hard to deal with other humans in the world. We are not the end all of all ends!

The western press acts like it is all Russia’s fault…

WTH – America started this mess and people like me have to live with the ignorance of our governments actions…

Bottom line:

First: Moscow (CNN)Russia has described any possible conditions set by Washington to return two of the country’s diplomatic compounds in the US that were closed down late last year as “unacceptable.” The two compounds, in New York State and Maryland, have sat empty since then-President Barack Obama closed them in December as part of sanctions imposed against the Russian government for its alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Russia waited a about a year to allow America to get her act together…

The U.S. has been asked to cut its number of staff in Russia to 455, the same number of Russian diplomats currently in the U.S. Those cuts will be made not just at the embassy in Moscow, but also the consulates in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Vladivostok.

Russia’s other move was to deny access to two diplomatic compounds in Moscow. One is a warehouse in the southern part of the city used by U.S. diplomats. The other is a kind of vacation home that the Times describes as β€œa bucolic site along the Moscow River where staff members walk their dogs and hold barbecues.”

So it was obviously an issue on the part of America and Obama at that time. We admit it, but now we slide the blame against others. Instead of America getting her act together, she has thrown a temper tantrum…

Yes I am pissed!

This effects me as a human and right now what little care I had for the government of America has been sent down the drain. Trump is bought and paid for, Our government is a chaotic mess of snakes and your TV dinner is getting cold!

Have a nice day…

How do you explain why everything is so much higher in America?

Cost of living in United States is 71.57% higher than in Russia (aggregate data for all cities, rent is not taken into account). Rent in United States is 124.39% higher than in Russia (average data for all cities).

https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/country_result.jsp?country=United+States

How do you explain a loaf of bread in America at the link above is $2.55? When I can buy a loaf of bread in Russia for 22 rubles (kilo loaf) which equals in dollars = .38 cents…. I buy bread all the time at 1960’s to 1970’s price in America…

I can explain it!

It is called stupidity…

No matter how much more you make over what a Russian makes per year. The cost factor actually benefits Russians. Therefore, a Russian seems to have more free money at the end of the month. This translate into three to four times the amount of days off per year. In Russia vast numbers of Russians spend all summer off work. They live in the villages and dachas. To be honest a Russian is off work about three months total a year…

In America you all look at lost GDP, I look at Russians and see HPE (Happy People Everywhere)…

Heaven forbid: I watch people in Moscow everyday who live in owned homes. Drive cars they pay for cash with. Children being raised in safe and secure environments (No fences, no guards, no walls and playgrounds to play in everywhere.) Children are kicked out the door in the morning and told not to come home until hungry and or it is time for dinner/nighttime… (This is how I was raised in America! Free as a bird and usually we found the nearest neighbor to eat at when we got hungry. Elderly people always brought out cookies and such to munch on, even as we climber their apple trees and terrorized their doggies from above, like monkeys!)

I could buy this brand new for way under $10,000 in Russia and it is one fine vehicle. I wish I had the $8,000 it costs, I would own one… I can buy a new Niva LADA for under $8,000…

Get real people!

You are living in a fantasy land for the 1% and you don’t care one iota…

Lets end with this tasty tidbit…

In the middle of the spectrum, we have the home of the Big Mac, the USA, where one of these iconic burgers costs USD $4.79. On the expensive side of things, a Big Mac will run you $6.82 in Switzerland. And, if you can believe it, in Venezuela the same burger will cost you a measly $0.67.

[contentcards url=”http://www.worldatlas.com/articles/the-world-s-most-expensive-countries-measured-by-the-big-mac-index.html”]

Right now; I checked today the Big Mac at the local McDonald’s costs $1.78…

Smartphones have peaked…

As many of you know I am into smartphones!

It looks like smartphones have reached the peak for now. It will take some serious technology to allow them to reach the next level. This has been a forthcoming event that many in the industry have seen for awhile. If you have bought a good smartphone in the last few years, you have about as good as it will get for awhile…

I have a Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus and it, while being very inexpensive, is the finest phone I have ever owned. I have owned a bunch and my Wileyfox made in Britain is anything and everything I could ask for in a phone…

Therefore, to buy a smartphone nowadays, is only because you want the latest and possibly greatest smartphone. This is why we are seeing Apple and Samsung slipping steadily in advancement. They are running out of tricks to put in such a tiny package…

With even a cheap smartphone having such things as decent cameras and fingerprint startup, nothing is really new and curved screens mean nothing when you are talking on the phone…

There has been some issues that have touched the handheld industry and one is that the tablet has become obsolete. The smart phone in a size of about 5 inch to 5.5 inch has taken over the handheld industry. It does anything that a tablet does and does it better in size, weight and quality. Tablets have become the cassette player of the old days…

I have a very wonderful ASUS tablet and it will even make phone calls, but it is heavy and cumbersome. Thus, it never gets used anymore. I just recharged mine and tried using it for awhile yesterday. Just too heavy and the Wileyfox does more than it does. Yet the ASUS is as fine a tablet as I could ever want…

I guess I am saying that as with everything on earth, everything has its day…

The days of joy with Android and Apple OS has become a boring existence now. I am running Wileyfox Swift 2 plus MIUI 8 Android 6 level. It is as far as I need to go and the desire to go farther is gone. What I see in the newer OS’s is too much control by OS and too much lack of control by the human operating it. I figure that when they wake up and realize that a phone smarter than us is a bad thing, then we may see some changes…

I will not hold my breath…

https://miui.su/firmware_manager/model_view/388/

The link above is to the very best ROM I have found for the device I am using. It simply works and works good…

It does sadden me in that things with cellphones seem to have plateaued. Just as I am saddened about the tablets demise. My suggestion is to get a fantastic deal on a two and or three year old smartphone/tablet collecting dust in the store window and use it. For to, so called upgrade, is not going to do anything but eat your available money for virtually nothing…

My Wileyfox is as good as any Samsung and Apple I have every owned, used and or cared to play with…. I await the next level of technology, just hope I am still alive when we get it… πŸ˜‰

The smartphone, like cars, have become all the same. They lack personality and I guess that is what interests me. personality…. Svetochka just got a new phone. It is a Samsung and that phone five to ten years ago would have been a smartphone, yet now it is under 3000 rubles and a very good phone. She is happy with it and likes the fact that it is everything she would want, yet in a perfect package for her hand. It has personality for her…

Some images from the village area… (Coffee and TRV)

Tiny Russian Village or TRV as I call it…. You can never get enough pictures of the area and definitely get enough pictures of Boza. Boza is not to good at posing for the camera, but Svetochka tries…. This year in Russia it is sunflower year. The fields of sunflowers are everywhere. Also grain was record in size. Most likely the largest grain haul ever in Russian history…

Dreaming of the Tiny Russian Village this morning. Moscow is packed to the brim again with kids and people from all walks of life. School starts Friday, the 1st of September, 2017. Right now the wonderful empty Moscow is like sardines again…. Packed tightly with people…

It is all okay, just nice when the monkeys are gone…

We are thinking about when we are going to get back to the Tiny Russian Village. We were called and told that the back wall of the village home is done and we have to get down to paint it. They said they have some brick work left to do, but the wall is built and secured. This is going to be interesting to have a solid back wall again…

Svetochka and I have to get to a home store and buy paint and a ladder. It is time to paint the village home from top to bottom again…. I think just plain white is perfect, well see…. The back wall has been termite proofed, sealed and reinforced, plus covered with new wood…

I also have to wax the car. I have a green carnauba wax that I will wax it with in the village. It is time to finish the car. I have to redo the rear brakes, found a leaky rear wheel cylinder and I need to get under the car and weld the exhaust in one spot. I have a welder and it is time to fix the exhaust. Bad seam where the pipes are joined at the muffler…. It is tight but not sealing up as I like…

We have to get a new electric meter installed at the village home. Things are never easy to get done in Russia, but that is all okay…

Vacation time in Moscow almost over. Got to get back to the real world of the Tiny Russian Village. We will let you know when we are leaving…. Svetochka wants to take a few weeks to enjoy life there and then at the beginning of October, I have to leave Russia…. Another trip to Europe is necessary, for Russia says I have to leave every so often… πŸ™

Thank you donations…

Time for renewing the domain of WtR and people have almost donated enough to get it done for another year. It takes $120 dollars a year to keep this domain in business. I switched to WtR in 2008. This was after Blogger Blogspot decided to shut us down. Google decided, with some Gov. help, that we were a threat and too political for Blogger Blogspot. What a mess. It had been on Blogger since 2006 and was one busy site…

Domain Name: WINDOWSTORUSSIA.COM
Registrar: REGIONAL NETWORK INFORMATION CENTER, JSC DBA RU-CENTER
Sponsoring Registrar IANA ID: 463

Referral URL: http://www.nic.ru

This domain started out with GoDaddy and GoDaddy shut us down after they failed to shut us down by blocking Blogger. As you see from the above info, WtR is now located in Russia and that was a mess to get transferred. GoDaddy tried anything and everything to keep us from transferring and keep us blocked. They admitted to being under orders to keep us under a thumb, so to speak. But patience and perseverance prevailed and WtR became Russian based…

I talk about this stuff because it is important. We have very little freedom and sometimes you must search the world over to find that freedom. The biggest freedom came when we found our hosting years ago. 1894 Hosting…

Based in Iceland, where we could once again thrive against the powers to be. It has been a long battle and never will the war be done or won. For I see so many sites being raped and pillaged everyday. No one pays attention. For me to be hosted in the US would be virtually free in cost. But, then you are subjected to the whims of the devil itself…

Thank you to all the people who donate and as I say, even a dollar makes a huge difference. They add up and they add up to pay for the domain. They also have been donations to help Boza and to get our car redone. The generosity has been overwhelming…

To all you who have donated, you know who you are!

Thank you very much and God Bless You!

Boza and I dreaming of the Tiny Russian Village…

Boza got me up at 3:30 a.m. this morning and being a good grumpy grouchy bear, I got up and walked him. Some people think that this time of the morning is a dumb time to walk, but I am here to tell you, Boza and I have no better time to walk in peace, than early morning…

Moscow is very safe and the people are good, if not unobservant to a point. When you grow up in a city where everyone is on top of each other, then you grow thick skin and or suffer the backlash…

This is Boza and I. Boza was born in a Tiny Russian Village and I came from a Tiny American Town. Our skin is not as thick as a Moscow born native people. Thus, we struggle to get around and stay out of the way of the Muscovite’s… (I use to look at the people of Kansas City and or Saint Louis the same way…)

People in Moscow just barge along with their business and even the tiniest babushka will walk over top of you if you hesitate. It is life in a big city, but a life that Boza and I struggle with. So this morning as many mornings, Boza and I go out into the world very early and find a walk of peace and quiet…

It is amazing how safe Moscow is. I have talked about this fact since the day I came to Russia, Moscow is very safe and pleasant to walk around in at all hours of the night. We find the occasional dumpster diver, looking for scrap metal and bottles to sell. We see the occasional bunch of teenagers sneaking around to find a wall to paint upon and express their inner souls. We also see the occasional drunk staggering his way back home. But for the most part, we walk in total peace and quiet…

The quiet is broken by many kitties, who roam the night around the flats and Boza loves to get wind of them and try to find them. The cats are amazing, they slink off at the first sight of us, but their smell is lingering and Boza is happy with that…

Therefore, all this babbling I am doing is because Boza and I miss the Tiny Russian Village. For literally anytime of the day is a good time to walk there. Well good except the horseflies, mosquitoes and tiny biting flies… πŸ˜‰

Regardless, even in Moscow, we seem to have one horsefly and he waits for Boza and I everyday, to try to suck our blood. I swear if there is a horsefly within a hundred miles, it will find us…

So Boza and I walk early in the morning, we walk along and can walk just about anywhere. The world is sleeping and the darkness is like a blanket cuddling us as we walk. Boza can move around without being distracted and I have more peace, because of not having to watch out for other people. That is a big issue I have…

I was raised to be courteous to all around me. Moscow like big cities all over the world, are full of unintentionally lacking of courteousness kinda people. I struggle to be polite, when no one around me even understands such a concept. I remember New York City, I hated it, the people are so rude. Now I understand such things better…

A big city is rude to me. But we all live with what we have to live with and Boza and I now understand that we are Tiny Russian Village guys. Not big city, big town and or even small village…. We are…

Tiny Russian Village guys in our hearts and we dream of the village as we walk so early in the morning…

M21 GAZ Volga…

What a car and someone is rebuilding it. The interior still has some work, but they have really done a fine job on the exterior. I am sure that as with our M310221 Volga, it is hard to find parts now…

WtR: Starting to Recover from the hack attack… ;)

I had a commentator who had a great idea… (Thank you Vladimir.)

While the original template is lost for WtR due to hacking and deliberate destruction. The site called…

https://web.archive.org/web/20170309142235/http://windowstorussia.com

Has a copy of WtR in the recent past. In fact I had forgotten about this site and was kindly reminded and able to recover much of the lost data…

Therefore, I will work on the site, for it took several years to get WtR to the point is was and will take time to get it back kinda like it was. Thus, it is on its way and resembles for the most part what we had, before destroyed…

Pingdom testing is good…

And Pagespeed by Google is good…. Mobile at 95 out of a 100 and Desktop 93 out of a 100. I will rest with that for a few days. I have spent hours trying to recover some of what we had before… Far from the best of before, but good enough for now…

* * * * *

I want it understood that WtR has been under attack for many years. We always get back up and running quickly time and time again. I do not ignore this site, for it is part of me and is important. I guess that is why it is attacked so often and as almost always, it is attacked from the American Government…

I promise you that if this site was a “Hate Russia” site, I would be wealthy in money and never having a site attacked. This is the issue at hand. Simply put; The American system of Gov. and judicial, has spent many years, from lowly military guard shacks and the computers within them, rooms of computers at everything from prisons, DC itself and many other military bases all over the world, all owned and operated by the USA, have attacked this blog. WtR has been attacked by all forms of Judicial ways and means, from lawsuits, threats and having companies such as GoDaddy eg. shut us down with no warning…

You should never wonder why I keep writing? I will probably be writing as they put a bullet in my head…

I will not shut up, for we (Americans) are wrong and the way we are taught to see the world is wrong…

Wake up people…

The new Goolag or is it Gulag?

The new Goolag or is it Gulag? But it is actually “Google”!

[contentcards url=”http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-27/youtube-economically-censors-ron-paul-labels-videos-not-suitable-all-advertisers”]

Ron Paul a medical doctor (served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1968,) former US Representative in Congress, five children, a Baptist and a (3 time) presidential candidate and much more. He speaks in favor of sound money, no Fed, less killing, equal justice, liberty and freedom for all people (not just a few people) of the world. Ideas that are no longer part of the American society. How could anyone who supports such terrible ideas, be nothing but fake news?

Ron Paul is what we Americans do not want to think about, hear about and contemplate about. He stands for America, yet he is an outcast, as many of us are anymore. We who stand for a country that stood for Justice, Liberty and Freedom…. A country where the rule of law was foremost, even if it was flawed…

No longer have that country…

Welcome to the USSA…

https://robo-diglet.deviantart.com/art/United-Socialist-States-of-America-USSA-flag-376379787

What chance does a lowly person like me have against the system? When Ron Paul is being railroaded continually, everyday, every week and all year long, by the system that is crushing what was America…

Freedom is a dirty word anymore and you need to learn that, before it is too late…

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose,
Nothing don’t mean nothing honey if it ain’t free, now now.

No! I will not shut up…
