Tiny Russian Village – Finally…

Oh My!

How we have missed the Tiny Russian Village…

Vova hugged me a half dozen times, the yard is a jungle, the birdbrains are grouchy with me, Boza is already adapted and running around happy as a lark, Svetochka is all smiles, my arthritis is already fading away and life is sweet as honey…

Sammy the Volga has been picked up by Igor from TRV (Tiny Russian Village) and gone to BV (Big Village). Much thanks to a few wonderful donations from China, getting her new dress put on. The Chinese love WtR…. The engine will be finished from the original work and she will be freshly painted soon. We have to have a support welded in a frame section, we are lifting the rear end back to stock level, new rear spring bushings, the doors will be replaced, water pump will be replaced and several other mandatory areas cut out and new welded in. She will be pretty again and she will be matched to her new engine…

A Volga is a wonderful car and now that they are no longer made, Volga’s are becoming collector cars by many. Thank goodness for Cheap parts to replace everything with. We have a model 310221 and it is the best wagon I have owned. I have owned many in my time. I am a station wagon person…

This is the last image I took before we left…

Now the grass is waist high and mosquitoes are out in force…

* * * * *

Igor has said he will come out and get us, so that we can see how Sammy is doing and get groceries. We have plenty of food left over from when I stayed all winter and we bought some before we came to TRV. We will not starve any such way, anyway… Vova saved the bridge this year and installed new pilings. I guess he is tired of waiting for the governments of the nearby villages to do their job and we are thankful for what he has done. The other bridge, the one I use in winter to another village, is washed out. That is the norm… We are lucky that our bridge survived and it makes for us to get food much easier, with no car…

* * * * *

We start a new drop today in Boza’s eye and I hope it goes well. I also have to start a ten day series of special shots for his eyes, they go into the deep muscle tissue. He will not be a happy camper. He can rest a lot in the village and recover. When we get him back to Moscow, he will have to have surgery. Lets hope everything goes as planned…. Boza and I wish to be here three weeks, but….

Gotta run, the yard is scary and today I will spend it cutting down the forest and weeds that have grown. Oh my… Strawberries are ready to eat, the rose survived and is growing like a weed, the tiny pine has doubled in size, the pear trees are in fantastic shape. I would say all in all; very successful…

Pictures tomorrow…

Tomorrow we leave for the Tiny Russian Village… Yippy!

I had to get Boza up at 6 a.m., walk him and put his medicine in his eyes. He was patient to a point, but wanted more than anything to get back to sleeping under the bed again. Why? His mommy is home today and that overrides all else…

Svetochka has taken vacation and we are off to the Tiny Russian Village. Short but sweet trip, I am sad to say…

There is a bunch to do in the village and we have to shut it down for the winter. I do hope to be able to come back in the fall, but as I have been saying (and it seems many just do not read,) Boza has surgery on his eyes in a month and it will take him time to recover and he needs his doctor nearby…

I have been saying that and yet, I still get people bouncing off the walls as if they are confused…

Here lets make it all clear…

Donations have been given to buy a 4×4 and they are still waiting in escrow to be used for such a purpose. Donations have been given to help Boza and they are now being used to help Boza. (Thank goodness for peoples help.) Boza has a long road to get better…. And yes his right eye is seeing about 10 feet on average…. Donations were given to repair Sammy the Volga and they will be used this summer to rebuild her body, just as they were used to put in a new engine…. As always thank you very much for the donations and I have not been asking for anything for awhile. Generosity supplied what was needed for us to keep things going for this summer…

About Boza’s hospital it is in the link below…

Lets have coffee time and hop around…

* * * * *

Oh my! The British did not like me posting about Theresa May!

Three Ring Circus and it ain’t funny anymore…

Stab me with your steely knives…

Oh and popcorn goes great with circuses…

* * * * *

Boza had a slightly rough day yesterday. It is because we had to put flea and tick drops on his back the night before. Those things are nasty and deadly and people use them all the time as if they have no repercussions. We were actually scared to put them on him, in the past certain drops for ticks have caused him to have temporary neural issues. This issue plus all the eye medicine that has caused him issues, just sounded like a bad deal happening…

Boza tough and if you say, “Why even put the tick flea medicine?”

Boza almost died from Tick Parasite…

That is why!

This attack is what set off the immune system and destroyed his eyes, by activating a immune hereditary disease, so yes, we dislike ticks…

* * * * *

I miss the Tiny Russian Village, but Svetochka and Bozochka come first to my feelings and desires. We will be back and I will then finish all the projects that I have going in the Tiny Russian Village…

Good thing about Russia! Russians always have tomorrow…

I dunno, but it goes something like this…

Sammy as when she was new!

Today we put drops on Boza’s back for ticks and fleas. (Lets hope that he does not get sick from all the medicines…) We make lists for things we need to take and buy to go to the Tiny Russian Village. Then Sunday morning early early early we leave and make the 9 hr trip to the village…

Once to the Tiny Russian Village we call our friend there who will do the body work on Sammy the Volga and go to the store. Stock up at the store with food for two weeks and leave Sammy in the Big Village after driving (and dropping off supplies) to the Tiny Russian Village…. Most likely Monday, we will take Sammy to the Big Village…

Then we will walk to the bus stop and walk to the nearby villages if we need anything…

It could happen that way, but this is Russia and things never happen the way you want in Russia. Russia is just too laid back in life to push too hard. But Sammy needs work done and that we will push on…

We call him Ernie, the young man who works on Sammy. He will finish the engine details, install a new water pump and serpentine belt, then install two front doors (hanging on his shop wall,) cut out and replace all rocker panels, fix the frame in one spot, apply body putty, primer and paint the whole car…

Sammy is getting a facelift or maybe better yet; a body lift…. Thanks to donations to WtR. People are very generous and wonderful. It is fantastic that people from all over the world donate to help Boza and even Sammy our Volga…

Ernie has plenty of spare old Volga’s to garner parts from…

By the way for all Volga car lovers; Sammy is running like a top after her new engine was put in. It is still hard for me to keep the speed down. Before she was just not capable of setting speed records, but now she flies with some of the best on the road. I am amazed at the power difference between the worn out model 402 engine and this used model 406 engine…

We also need to look at a UAZ that he (Ernie) knows about for sell. This is what we have been keeping the money donated for a 4X4 and a UAZ is a beast. The Tiny Russian Village needs a real 4X4 to survive the winters. Though it is looking like this winter, Boza and I will be in Moscow. Then after he gets all his eye issues done, we will spend a year in the Tiny Russian Village again…

We can dream, can’t we?

Project History of the Orthodox People (HOP)

I found this interesting and maybe you can gather some insight of “Orthodox Religion” thoughts/knowledge from it…

[contentcards url=”http://orthodoxhistory.info/”]

Welcome to the History of the Orthodox People (HOP) project website!

The HOP is currently at the very first phases of its development. Please think of every page you will see here as being “under construction”.

At this point in time we have assembled a number of teams which will each work on the history of one of the following local Orthodox Churches: Serbian, Bulgarian, Russian, West European, African, Greek and Romanian.

We are still hoping to have more people join our project and look at the history of the many other Orthodox Churches not listed above. If you are interested in joining, please email the Editor in Chief at historyorthodox@gmail.com

Thank you.

It actually helps to understand the Russians people. They are actually very religious people…

Lets have coffee time and hop around…

First:

Boza is doing great, we have finally found the medicines that work, but do not make a zombie dog from him. At the end of June, Boza gets his left eye operated on. He will have a shunt put in to drain the excess fluids. Finally getting somewhere…. The left eye is a lost cause for sight…

The right eye is doing great and we are saving sight in it. He will never see good, but he can now chase голуби (golubi) or pigeons and they love to come right up to him and see if he wants to share any food… 😉

Good birds…

Second:

This Sunday we will leave for the Tiny Russian Village…

We will stay two weeks and will shut the village home down for the winter, plant white lilacs, let Boza run and play, allow me to energize, let Svetochka have a vacation and try to get the car’s body work and extra engine stuff done. Our mechanic is in the Big Village…. All in two weeks, oh my!

Russians have patience and perseverance…

MOSCOW, June 5. /TASS/. U.S. needs to stop interfering in other countries’ internal affairs and to change its own electoral legislation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with U.S. journalist Megyn Kelly, which the NBC aired on Sunday.

“The Constitution of the United States and the electoral legislation are structured in such a way that more electors can vote for a candidate who is backed by fewer voters,” Putin said. “And such situations do occur in the history of the United States.”

“Therefore, if we were to discuss some kind of political and social justice, then probably that electoral legislation needs to be changed and bring a situation where the head of state would be elected by direct secret ballot and so there will be direct tabulation of votes that can be easily monitored,” he said.

“That’s all there is to it,” Putin added. “And there will be no need for those who have lost the elections to point fingers and blame their troubles on anybody.”

“I will tell you something that you most likely know about,” he went on. “I don’t want to offend anyone, but the United States, everywhere, all over the world, is actively interfering in electoral campaigns in other countries.”

“Is this really news to you?” he asked Kelly.

“Therefore, if someone, and I am not saying that it’s us (we did not interfere), if anybody does influence in some way or attempts to influence or somehow participates in these processes, then the United States has nothing to be offended by,” Putin said. “Who is talking? Who is taking offense that we are interfering? You yourselves interfere all the time.”

Along with, he stressed once again the senselessness of interference in the U.S. electoral process.

“Presidents come and go, and even parties come to and away from power. But the main policy track does not change,” Putin said. “So by and large we don’t care who will be at the helm in the United States,” went on.

“We have a rough idea of what is going to happen,” he indicated. “And in this regard, even if we wanted to it wouldn’t make any sense for us to interfere.”

In addition to it, Putin voiced his profound conviction that “(…) no interference from the outside, in any country, even a small one, let alone in such a vast and great power as the United States, can influence the final outcome of the elections.”

“It is not possible, he said. “Ever.”.

I would think President Putin and Russia would stay as far away from the psycho American government and sicko American media as they could get. But I guess they have to at least try. Deep down Russians have a much higher love for the planet than most of the west does. In mainly conventional ways and means…

He is right about American interference in other countries. Ukraine coup to secure the Crimea, literally every country in Latin and South America, Vietnam, Korea, Cuba, Yugoslavia, Serbia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, a coup to install the Shah in Iran and that just names a few…

The USA has acknowledged spying on its vassal states of Great Britain, Germany and France. It’s actually amazing at the extent of US interference in the world at large. Maybe us Americans worrying about Russian interference in our election, can explain in reality about our interference in hundreds of elections all over the world. In fact, our interference in stable governments all over the world…

I say a prayer to God every morning I wake up that President Putin stays in power as long as the Russians will allow. He is the last man/country standing, keeping the insane US and its Vassals from prostrating the world…

China will have to be pushed until they have milked the sacred cow called America, but that day is coming and China will push back. China worships the dollar too much still. They will have to see that the dollar is no longer the means to their desires and then they will as we say, “Follow the Money!”

I never thought, in my past life, I would trust Russian news, Chinese news, Iranian news over American news, but that’s the verisimilitude we now face. And it is in our face and large and in charge…

America/USA/Land of the Free is so overwhelmed and utterly destroyed by the ongoing tsunami of lies, corruption, deceptions, fabrications, trickery , secrecy, manipulation, brainwashing and deep state interference, that it’s impossible to take them serious anymore. It is a well known joke in the world, “When an American opens their mouth? Lies flow unabated, even if these lies are unintentional…”

Americans simple do not know they are lying, they just repeat what their masters tell them 24h/7d/52w a year…

“We have a lot of Americans who visit us,” Putin continued. “Right now, I think we have representatives from a hundred American companies that have come to Russia. Do you think we’re gathering compromising information on all of them right now or something? Have you all lost your minds over there?”

It’s like Putin said, “Have you all lost your minds over there?”

Good thing Russians have patience!

Russian Chocolate Honey Cake Recipe…

Ingredients:

Cake:
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
Chocolate semi sweet
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoon real honey
100 g butter
2 cups shifted flour

For the Filling/Coating:
650 g sour cream
1⁄2 cup sugar
2 tablespoon real honey
350 g crushed plain sweet cookie crumbs, for the coating
1/4 cup ground walnuts, for the coating (almonds are great, sunflower seeds, whatever)

Preheat oven to 180°C. (important)

  1. Beat eggs well with sugar; add baking soda and warmed honey…
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a clay oven proof pot (Why? just use a sauce pan!); add to the mixture in # 1 above…
  3. Put the pot/pan on a very low heat, add the flour while mixing and mix until the mass is without lumps (the mixture will be very thick and very hard to stir)… (too thin add more flour and mix well.)
  4. Remove from heat and cool in the pot/pan…
  5. Once cool enough; grab the dough and drop on a floured surface, divide into balls, roll each layer very thin (2mm), cut circles as round as possible (approx 20cm diameter), and bake on sheet pan (wax paper good idea) at 180°C for about 3 minutes or until golden brown in color; repeat with remaining dough and allow circles of dough to cool before assembling…
  6. Next grab a bowl; Beat sour cream, sugar and honey until the sugar dissolves-the mixture will still be fairly liquid…
  7. Now put it together; Coat each layer (first disc nothing underneath,) with a generous layer of cream; assemble the cake, coat the sides with cream and sprinkle top and sides with crumbs and ground walnuts…. Gummy bears, raisins, colored sprinkles, other words use your imagination. Fruit works good also…
  8. Allow to set at least 6 hours before eating.

Oh Momachka it is so good and will make a diabetic scream it is so sweet… (Yes I am diabetic!)

For those who are too scared, worn out, no time to cook and or bake. Just buy it… –>

You can find these cakes in literally every store and even kiosks at the side of the road…

Well that is in Russia, I should say…

Dontcha like our “NEW MATH?”

In April, there were 608,000 more Americans who dropped out of the labor force. The number of those not in the labor force increased from 94,375,000 in April to 94,983,000 in May……

Ninety Five million people who could be working but we do not count against unemployment statistics.

By my simple minded calculations: The real unemployment rate is around 30% in America. But then that is just my simple minded calculations…

[contentcards url=”http://freebeacon.com/issues/unemployment-rate-declines-4-3-16-year-low/”]

But then according to the officials of the great land of OZ! The unemployment rate is 4.3%…

“and the percentage of 4.3 percent has not been this low since May 2001, 16 years ago.”

I guess I need to get caught up on this “New Math”, for it sure is some fancy footwork, compared to the old math, that use to be the new math, when I was in school, many many years ago…

I keep getting stuck on that 100,000,000 people who are not working, but could work and should be counted and are not included in the numbers, but they can work if they could get a job, but we ignore them…

Isn’t that like a third of the whole population of America?
