Russia: Bomb threats in 85 schools, 16 kindergartens and 20 shopping centres

Now we have this…

MOSCOW, January 23. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Security Service announced on Thursday it has shut down a Dutch-registered Startmail.com website that has been sending thousands of hoax bomb threats to courts, schools, hospitals, shopping malls and other facilities across Russia since November 2019.

“Since November 28, 2019 until now, the foreign service Startmail.com (in the Netherlands) has sent more than 1,000 anonymous reports with bomb threats to emails of judicial authorities in 16 Russian regions,” the FSB Public Relations Center told TASS.

More than 16,000 social infrastructure facilities such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals, transport and shopping centers received bomb threats, which turned out to be a hoax.

16,000 threats and not a real one in sight. Yet what if they were?

Like I said: “Sick people playing sick games…”

This is getting out of hand…

Went to dentist again and long walk in the snow…

Last night went to the dentist….I really do not like going to the dentist and am halfway through a root canal…

My dentist office….growl…

This morning I felt like, well not very spry for a grumpy bear and just walked. It was snowing and snowing. The snow falling does make me happy…

So I did not stop and I just walked and walked and grumbled…

Now I am home and working on my android phones. My mouth hurts and I am grumpy. Best thing is to stay away from me, unless you are my sweetpea and then I will always be happy to see her, also my cup of coffee is welcomed…

Hopefully only one more visit to finish my root canal…

I am not a Bitcoin fan boy, but I never get real answers about Bitcoin stuff…

Just asking for a friend…

That Bitcoin is in those wires my friend…

So when the electricity decides, due to war and infrastructure disaster,  stop working, what good is your Bitcoin or equivalent?

No one talks about that….no one says hardly anything about a complete internet outage and you want your Bitcoin!

What about all that gold in London vaults and you live in New York? What about all that paper gold certificates and you try to collect? and Twenty others try to collect there gold also…

Seems that something that is not truly physical and in your hand when the SHTF. Is not something that is usable at all. Like you have tons of gold and cash in the bank and the bank is no longer there. How do you get your gold? Your cash? Your anything? When the electricity goes down in the whole country and it is possible….how does your Bitcoin work then?

Seems to me when life gets rough and it can, a pound of coffee will be worth a whole bunch of gold and such!

Hmm….just asking for a friend!

What does that mean? It means that Bitcoin – like the internet itself – is dependent upon functioning global networks, reliable power supplies and standing cellphone towers. Switch off the routers and transformers, and knock down the towers, and Bitcoin has a problem.

I do my best to walk for my diabetes…

Good Morning

I have talked many times about how when you are diabetic, exercise is important.

I see too many people both in America and in Russia who lose a leg to something so easy to keep under control It is easy if you care about yourself…

This morning is a typical walk. I went almost 6 kilometers, did my shopping for groceries and ate a small breakfast at Globus. This is one of two walks I do everyday. Both about the same length and I do whatever shopping I need to do when I walk…

Here is a typical night walk screenshot below. I use Google Fit to keep track of myself as I walk. It really works good and I have a sim data card to take care of when I am not at WiFi…

Good Evening

I do not run, I do not walk as fast as I can, I just simply walk and enjoy life. My morning walks are the easiest for me to move faster. In the evenings I have more issues and must pace myself better. Many times I move slow to keep from suffering so much…

That is the key thing, do your best to enjoy walking and look at things. Do not worry about the speed…

I realize that diabetes makes it hard to walk. I had that issue and found it too easy to just act like my feet hurt too bad and walking was making it worse. First thing when diabetic is to take care of your feet. That means in my case, put on a good foot cream everyday. That keeps the diabetic cracking and splits away….wash your feet everyday, keep the toe nails trimmed and clean and do not ignore guts and abrasions to your feet…

One of the worse enemies to a diabetic is cuts on your foot and acting like all is wonderful. At one time I could not even walk on a sandy beach without being in pain. Now Svetochka looks on in amazement as I walk on pebbles, asphalt, concrete and beaches with ease. She is the one with grumpiness as I walk all over and do not complain. As she tries to keep up now…

Yes you can and save your feet and legs. For then you can’t…

If you are reading this and are diabetic?

Get to walking, take you medicine and watch what you eat!

Your blood sugar levels will come down and you will feel so good that walking becomes easy…

Yes you can…

No real news in the western media…

Leave Twitter & Facebook to start with. Seek uncensored alternative news. Just get out of the tiny box you have allowed yourself to be encompassed by. Once Twitter and Facebook falter, people may recover some normalcy. In the meantime, don’t get your political news from US social or mainstream media. There is no reality/true news in those either…

Try doing without Facebook and Twitter!

You will find that the world is a better place…

Then keep going.

Russia: Bomb threats in 85 schools, 16 kindergartens and 20 shopping centres

I despise sick people and threats to people just going about life…

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – More than 100 schools, kindergartens and 20 shopping centres in Moscow are being checked on Monday for explosive devices after receiving anonymous bomb threats, a representative from Moscow’s emergency services reported.

“There were calls about bomb threats in 85 schools, 16 kindergartens and 20 shopping centres,” the representative said.

Additionally, all of Moscow’s metro stations are being checked, after similar bomb threats came in.

Special services are checking this information, the representative added.

There has been an upsurge of phone calls reporting bomb threats in various institutions in Moscow and Saint Petersburg since 28 November. According to estimates by Russian media outlets, nearly 1.2 million people have been evacuated since the end of November due to false bomb threat reports.

From Russia: Leningrad blockade: 900 days of horror!

Russia’s northern capital St. Petersburg is marking 77 years since the breaking of the Nazi blockade. Formerly known as Leningrad, the city lived through 900 days of starvation and horror.

PS:

The President visited the Nevsky Pyatachok military historical complex, where he laid flowers at the Landmark Stone monument. Then he honoured the memory of Leningrad residents and soldiers defending the city who died during the siege, by laying a wreath by the Motherland monument at the Piskaryovskoye Cemetery.

The siege of Leningrad by Nazi troops lasted 872 days from September 8, 1941, until January 27, 1944.

The Landmark Stone commemorates the soldiers who fought during the siege at Nevsky Pyatachok. Nevsky Pyatachok is the conventional designation of a bridgehead on the left bank of the Neva River, which soldiers of the Leningrad Front defended during the Battle of Leningrad. Fighting here was conducted with the aim of breaking the siege.

Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery is the largest cemetery of World War II victims. Buried in 186 mass graves are 420,000 city residents who died from starvation, bombing, and shelling, as well as 70,000 soldiers who defended Leningrad.

Operation Iskra to break the siege of Leningrad took place on January 12–18, 1943 on Nevsky Pyatachok and triumphantly ended in a meeting of the Volkhov and Leningrad fronts near the village of Maryino. The siege was broken completely one year later on January 27, 1944.

Святки (Holy Days) Is Time For Fortune Telling!

Today I’ll tell you some folk traditions of fortune telling in Russia. It starts at Christmas Eve (January 6th) and ends with the Epiphany (January 19th). In old time people believe that’s that on those days souls of dead ancestors wander around the world and check if their children and grandchildren lead righteous lives. And if someone would start talking to you through the window, you should answer him very politely, but you should not open the door: it is a spirit; people go through the door… At the Christmas Eve people believe there are two strengths in these days: Strength of Kind and Strength of Evil. And to what strength you join, the strength will make wonder with you!..

We already had a good article about old Russian Christmas traditions. In Russia people believe that if it’s snowing at Christmas Eve it will be good harvest for bread and if it’s frost at Christmas Eve it will be Happiness and Love in family life. And I am telling you right now that is just very slight snowing now but frost -15 and it will be colder by midnight! So we’ll see!

During these two weeks, people think a good time to find out about the future. Even the Russian Church does not consider this, like a sin.

There are some old folk fortune telling. They are most for girls who wants get married:

At midnight girls go out to a crossing and draw a circle in the snow with a burnt stick, and bend to the ground they try to hear the sound of a bell, or an underground bell. If she heard the sound of a bell it meant that she would get married this year.

To learn the color of the eyes of the fiancé they used such a fortune telling. At midnight girls used to go out with ‘sochen’ (a cottage cheese pie); they went wherever they liked to share the pie with the first person she met and to eat it. What the color of this person’s eyes was, the same color her future fiancé eyes will be. If she asked his name, she could learn the name of her future fiancé.

A girl who wants to see her fiancé could do it in such a way: A girl sits in dark room at midnight, she has two mirrors at the table what face each other lightning candles and tries to see a some one in the gallery of reflections.

To know about future you can such way by watching shadows: Everyone takes a pure leaf of a paper, crumples it, puts on a dish or on a greater flat plate and sets fire. When the leaf will burn down or nearly so will burn down, you translate the shadows of it on the wall by candle. You try to learn your future by watching closely the shadows on the wall.

If you want to know if this girl and this guy will be together: you put two matches on each side a matchbox and set a fire. If the burned down heads of the matches will be turned to each other, that means this guy and the girl will be together.

Here I told you just very little part of Russian folk fortune telling. When I was writing this article I learned a lot about the traditions. Some of them I never knew about but some of them I know from my childhood and we even tried them with my classmates ;).

Do you know some folk fortunetelling? Do you believe in some of them?

Putin’s Now Purged the West from the Kremlin

The article below sums it up much better than I could do. It tells it how I see it and is very well informed. This is a good read…

It came as the biggest shock of the day on Wednesday. The Russian government resigned. The day before President Vladimir Putin gave his State of the Nation address and outlined a slate of constitutional changes. That speech prompted an overhaul of Russia’s government. Putin’s plan is to devolve some of the President’s overwhelming power to the legislature and the State Council, while beefing up the Constitutional Court’s ability to provide checks on legislation.

The US has just been flabbergasted since Putin did this. It has sliced the western 5th Column off at the knees. They will still try to crawl, yet they will bleed out as they try to crawl…
