I just recently told Svetochka that Xiaomi will be attacked next by the USA. Xiaomi has grown to big and scares the USA. The quality of products that Xiaomi produces is as good as anyone in the world….competition is scary to the Almighty USA!

On Thursday, Reuters reported that the US defense department has expanded its list of Chinese companies operating in the United States and associated, according to Washington, with the Chinese military industry. Nine more entities have been added to the list, including Xiaomi.

The corporation was founded in April 2010 and is currently one of the four largest smartphone manufacturers in the world. In 2018, the company held an IPO on the Hong Kong exchange. Over the past year, the price of their shares has increased by 180%. At the end of December last year, Xiaomi’s market capitalization surpassed the $100 bln mark for the first time.

MOSCOW, January 14. /TASS/. Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny has been declared wanted after he missed several criminal inspection registrations as a person under suspended sentence for the Yves Rocher case, the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service told reporters.

“In light of the fact that the real place of residence of the convicted person has been unknown <…> since September 24, initial inquiry measures were launched against Navalny A. on November 27, 2020. Convicted Navalny A. was placed on the wanted list on December 29 with an instruction to detain him when his whereabouts are identified,” the statement reads.

The agency underlined that it is guided by the principle of inevitability of punishment and equality for all Russian citizens and due to “Navalny’s repeated violations” of laws the service’s Moscow office is “obligated to take all measures to detain perpetrator Navalny until the court’s decision to change the suspended conviction for a real one.”

You should ask, “Why?”

“Why would he come back to Russia?”

I thought they (Russia, Putin, Evil Demons, Bad Guys, Novichok and what-knots) tried multiple times to kill him?

USA news of sanctions against Russia as always: “We are trying to inform companies of the risk and urge them to pull out [of the project] before it’s too late,” a US government source told Reuters….talking about more sanctions on Russia over Nord Stream 2 pipeline…

That thought crossed my mind as I read that Mexico will get and start producing Sputnik V. That triggered my thinking as many Americans go cross border into Mexico and get healthcare and dental care to boot, much cheaper and actually many times better than in the USA. Especially when considering the cost factor and care factor involved…

Will Americans cross and or be allowed to cross into Mexico and get a decent vaccine for Covid-19?

MEXICO CITY, January 13. /TASS/. The Mexican Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risk may approve the emergency use of Russia’s “Sputnik V” COVID-19 vaccine this week, the country’s Deputy Minister of Health Hugo Lopez-Gatell said during a press conference on Tuesday.

“It is likely to happen this week,” he said. Earlier, the deputy minister informed that Mexico had acquired access to all research and technical documents on the Russian vaccine, including the results of the third phase of clinical trials, with the aid of Argentina. On Monday, Lopez-Gatell said that the republic’s government may use up to 24 mln doses of the Russian vaccine.

On December 24, Mexico launched vaccination of medical personnel against COVID-19. So far, nearly 93,000 people have been vaccinated.

So, I suspect that in due time, Americans will be able to go to Mexico and pay to get a much better vaccine than what will be forced down their throats by the US GOV…

Have to be careful…

Strange, we have changed our WiFi modem, called our IP numerous times and tried anything we can think of & nothing short of switching providers will get our websites to show at our home…

The IP says, “Dunno!”

We say, “You Know!”

Right now we am on a Huawei Modem ( * Attention Americans: Huawei Modem!) that we use in the Tiny Russian Village. Works fantastic, if not a bit slower in data transfer, yet we able to work on our sites no issues…

We have noticed about a dozen sites blocked that are open on everyone else’s systems. We have also pinpointed it to our IP’s big system modem, yet they seem to balk at clearing the main systems cache…?

Makes it harder for us to get work done, when we have to switch systems just to look at a few sites. So?

Maybe we have to switch providers after all these years. Ten years we have had to deal with this terrible company. Sveta is very patient compared to me and she tolerates much more than I do. I have complained about “Net by Net” our IP since day one and my opinion has not changed. What is changing is my Sweetpea’s opinion…

So, until my Sweetpea gets totally fed up with the situation, I will use a Huawei Modem ( * Attention Americans: Huawei Modem!) and use a different provider to get the job done. I just do not like paying for subpar service and Net by Net has been subpar for ten years in the service department. The only thing they are is cheaper than anyone else, due to we have been with them since they started the company and we moved here into our flat…

I suspect that since we are so (too) cheap of a customer, due to our beginning and unchangeable contract price wise and they have tried numerous times to get us to upgrade to a new plan….that they want us to either upgrade and or leave. That is what this American, who has dealt with many companies in the past, suspects and realizes…

But, as I said ten years ago, “They can stick it up their ass, there is a hundred companies that can do the same job!” Probably a thousand now….it has been ten years you know?

MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. More categories of residents will be able to get vaccinated against the novel coronavirus infection in Moscow from January 13, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Monday.

“On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, registration for vaccination will begin for employees of the following economic sectors: research and development; information technologies; telecommunications; social services provided by private and non-profit organizations (staff of the city-run social services had an opportunity to get inoculated in early December); real estate management and transactions; hotels, travel agencies and other organizations offering services in the travel sector,” Sobyanin wrote on his blog.

Apart from that, according to the Moscow mayor, 30 more vaccination centers will open in Moscow on January 14 to bring the total number of such centers up to 100.

Moscow’s authorities plan to vaccinate from six to seven million city dwellers against COVID-19. It is not ruled out that an issue of giving privileges to those vaccinated against the coronavirus infection could be looked at. The mayor promised that when the vaccination campaign was over it would be possible to lift the coronavirus lockdown.

The anti-COVID vaccination campaign kicked off in Moscow on December 5. People can register for vaccination via the internet.
