So I sell firewood to my neighbor. I cut fine quality hardwood, split it for him and stack it exactly where he wants it. Been doing this for years, for he is a fool and at times and he seemed grateful and appreciative, even when over the years, things changed and he had issues and he got testy at times. I still took care of him. I cared that the family needed to heat for the winter and it was money for me to continue to cut firewood also…

* I am the only one in our small village that cuts firewood and stacks it and cuts to order. The other firewood you can get is either do it yourself and or order from a bigger company that dumps the firewood at your front gate and charges per mile to deliver. Very expensive to use them. *

He comes over one day acting the fool and starts hitting me with a stick he carried over with him. You see, it had started with insults over the fence line several years ago and I just put it down to pressures of life. Yet, I always found that he seemed to think he had a reason to act the fool and it was confusing, for I ignored him as he raved about this and that and those damn whatnot’s? I even ignored him when he put up a ten foot privacy fence and that was illegal according to fencing codes to do…

Would I keep selling him firewood?

It is a paradox…

When do you reach a point that you have to stop look around and even if they are fools? When do you take the stick away and beat his ass with that stick?

I contemplated: What about the children and his wife? They will freeze. They need heat and it is not their fault that he is the Fool?

Then I heard the wife pushing on the fool to kick my ass again. The children talked trash about me and how they were better than I am…

So the next day he comes ranting over to my yard and talking about how if I want his business? I better do this and that and do it right. None of it made sense, I have never ever even been in their house and only in the yard to stack the firewood I cut for them. This time the family was standing on the porch with arms crossed in front of them and all acting high and mighty…

He swung the stick at me as if he was gonna whip a slave and I guess that was the last straw?

I caught the stick and ripped it from his hands and snapped it in half. I was mad and decided that it was better to take out the anger on a piece of wood and not the fool…

He fell down and started to scream that I assaulted him, That I would go to jail and rot. That I was a bastard of evil!

I have a camera that records everything and it is a good thing. For here comes the police and the lies flowed from the family, about how I assaulted him, their loving daddy and attacked him as he tried to flee for his life, from my hate toward him. The angel he is is so innocent…

I played the video of what happened. The family ran off dragging the fool dad and hid in the home. The police said that he is a fool and that I must be more considerable to he issues. That he is a fool, meant that he needed to be treated more kindly and it was up to me to accept that I am the aggressor and need to tone it down…

I showed them the earlier video when he beat me physically with the cane!

Nothing changes, he is a fool and needs compassion…

So, “Would I keep selling him firewood?”

Yes, but I would not ever stack it for him in his yard, the price will double, it is cut the way I say it is to be cut, it will be split for my convenience and not theirs, I will cut whatever wood is convenient, it will be delivered (dumped in a pile) at his front gate and everything about the transaction will be recorded. I no longer care if they get the wood on time or not. I also have other customers who do not beat me and call me names…

His actions and his families actions lost them their preferential treatment. If I decide to find a couple more new customers? They could be told no more firewood, ever. It is tempting to tell them that now. I do not need the money that bad….I did it for the family and to be a nice neighbor…

After the look in the guys eyes and the fear that showed in them as I snapped his stick. I am hardened from hard work and he is soft. He will not try to attack me again. Yet, now they have resorted to nasty crap…

The kids throw rocks at the house. The wife tosses garbage over the fence at night and so on and so on. All recorded and all hate from that household. The police say, just ignore them. They are all fools…

So, “Would I keep selling him firewood?”

Yes, but I have already found some new customers and soon it will be winter….I hear him at the side fence screaming about needing firewood. They are almost out!!! His turn is now at the back of the list and will get done when I have time…

I am splitting logs as he screams at me to get my attention. The privacy fence is nice right now. Glad he put it up. He knows I am there and he also needs firewood very badly…

I ignore him, I have a load of fine cut, hardwood to deliver to a gentleman across town. He bought three cords of wood and was thankful to find someone to do it for him. This guy says he knows of several more who could use firewood…

When I am done taking care of the rest of my customers, I will see what scraps I have for the neighbors? Maybe I will have extra? Or maybe I will have sold it all?

Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine

High-precision attacks launched by Russian Aerospace Forces at a provisional base of 92nd Mechanised Brigade deployed in Chuguyev (Kharkov region) have resulted in the elimination of up to 200 servicemen of 2nd and 3rd battalions, as well as over 10 armoured vehicles.

In view of considerable losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), there is an increasing number of desertion cases. A rifle company of 58th Battalion from 104th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade operationally subordinated to the commander of 108th Battalion from 10th Mountain Assault Brigade that operated near Verkhnekamentskoye (Donetsk People’s Republic) completely abandoned its positions and withdrew towards unknown direction destination.

Russian Federation Armed Forces continue launching attacks at military facilities located in Ukraine.

High-precision long-range air-based missiles have destroyed 1 depot in one of the buildings of an industrial entity in Odessa that storaged Harpoon anti-ship missiles delivered to Ukraine by NATO countries.

High-precision ground-based armament has destroyed 1 launching ramp and 1 reloading vehicle of U.S.-manufactured HIMARS multiple rocket-launching system (MRLS) deployed near Krasnoarmeysk (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Attack launched at the base of 97th Battalion from 60th Mechanised Infantry Brigade of the AFU deployed near Novodanilovka (Zaporozhye region) has resulted in the elimination of up to 65 nationalists and over 10 special motor vehicles.

In addition, high-precision attacks of Russian Aerospace Forces have eliminated 4 command posts, including those of a battalion from 59th Mechanised Infantry Brigade near Zelyony Gay (Nikolayev region) and of 242nd Battalion from 241st Territorial Defence Brigade near Dergachi (Kharkov region), 6 munitions depots near Bondarnoye and Vasyukovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), Malinovka (Zaporozhye region), Chervonoye (Sumy region), as well as 19 areas of AFU manpower and military equipment, including 4 provisional bases of foreign mercenaries in Konstantinovka (Kharkov region) and Dzerzhinsk (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Within counter-battery warfare, 1 MRLS plattoon, 9 Giantsint-B artillery howitzer and D-30 gun plattoons near Verkhnekamenskoye, Serebryanka, Bondarnoye, Dronovka and Zvanovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), as well as artillery units at their firing positions in 107 areas.

Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery have neutralised 21 command posts, 189 AFU manpower and military equipment concentration areas.

Fighter aviation of Russian Aerospace Forces have shot down 1 Ukrainian Mi-17 helicopter near Slavyansk (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Russian air defence means have destroyed 1 Su-25 airplane of Ukrainian Air Forces near Velikaya Kamyshevakha (Kharkov region) and 1 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle near Bolshiye Prokhody (Kharkov region).

1 Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missile has been intercepted near Dmitrenko (Kherson region), 8 projectiles launched by Uragan and HIMARS MRLS have been intercepted near Izyum (Kharkov region), Tavriya (Zaporozhye region) and Alchevsk (Lugansk People’s Republic).

In total, 257 airplanes and 140 helicopters, 1,558 unmanned aerial vehicles, 355 air defence missile systems, 4,084 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 747 combat vehicles equipped with MRLS, 3,151 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 4,379 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

The significant successes of the Chechen security forces on various fronts are extremely objectionable to the “valiant” Ukrainian army. Our guys scrupulously and without unnecessary red tape save every meter of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics from the oppression of the nationalists. While the Ukrainian media are celebrating the fictitious victory, the allied army is confidently sweeping away the enemy’s fortified areas, pushing back the vast front line.

The high combat readiness and professionalism of the Chechen fighters allow them to carry out combat missions as efficiently as possible. However, there are still those who doubt their skills. But such skepticism is short-lived and vanishes at the speed of a flying bullet.

The Russian Federation’s Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response, in coordination with designated federal executive authorities, continues to carefully record numerous crimes committed by the Kiev regime against civilians, as well as the use of educational institutions and residential buildings by Ukrainian nationalist groups for military purposes:

in Soledar, Donetsk People’s Republic, in the school №14 (Krasnoflotskaya st.), the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have deployed their strongpoint, a munitions depot in the basement and heavy armament at the adjacent territory;

in Kharkov, at the lower and upper floors, as well as on the roofs of residential buildings (Pushkinskaya st.), Ukrainian armed groups have deployed large-calibre machine guns and multiple rocket launcher system (MRLS) crews, as well as munitions depots. At the same time, residents are forbidden to leave their flats, while any attempts of civilians to evacuate to safe areas are severely suppressed;

in Odessa, in the school №100 (Vernenskaya st.), AFU units have deployed armoured equipment, heavy artillery and MRLS, observation posts have been deployed along the perimeter of the educational entity, the approaches to the buildings are mined, but the local population has intentionally been left uninformed about it;

in Slavyansk, Donetsk People’s Republic, in the social orphanage ‘Sails of the Hope’ (Serafimovicha st.), militants of nationalist groups have deployed barracks and a strongpoint, while preschool teachers and children are retained in the basement as a human shield.

These acts commited by Ukrainian authorities show again their inhumane treatment to the lives of innocent Ukrainian citizens and total disregard to all moral norms and principles of the international humanitarian law. It occurs with the tacit consent of the collective West that continues turning a blind eye to the numerous war crimes of the Kiev regime.

In Poltavka, Zaporozhye region, militants of Ukrainian armed groups have mined the motorway bridge over Yanchur river for exploding it and accusing Russian Armed Forces of allegedly indiscriminate attacks at transport infrastructure facilities with wide coverage by Ukrainian and western mass media, in accordance with the well practiced scenario.

We emphasise again that Russian Armed Forces and military units of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics do not launch attacks at civilian infrastructure facilities, treat the civilian population with high humanity and provide it with comprehensive assistance and support during the special military operation.

Despite all the difficulties and obstacles imposed by the official Kiev, 28,424 people have been evacuated from dangerous areas of Ukraine and Donbass over the past 24 hours, including 5,148 children, and in total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 2,612,747 people have already been evacuated, including 412,553 are children.

The state border of the Russian Federation has been crossed by 417,210 private motor vehicles, including 5,150 over the past 24 hours.

More than 9,5 thousand temporary accommodation centres continue to operate in the regions of the Russian Federation.  The arriving refugees are individually attended and promptly assisted in resolving various issues related to their further accomodation, employment, providing children with pre-school and educational services, as well as supplying with social benefits and allowances.

The hotline of the Joint Coordination Headquarters of the Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response, federal executive authorities, regions of the Russian Federation and various non-governmental organisations have received 42 requests to evacuate to Russia, the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, as well as to the Russian Armed Forces-controlled areas of Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Kharkov and Kherson regions. In total, the database contains 2,759,354 appeals of this kind from 2,139 settlements in Ukraine and Kiev-controlled territories of the Donbas republics.

In addition, 70 foreign vessels from 16 countries remain blocked in six Ukrainian ports (Kherson, Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Ochakov, Odessa and Yuzhniy). The threat of shelling and high mine danger posed by official Kiev prevent vessels from entering the high seas unhindered.

As a result of a series of measures taken by the Russian Navy, the Mariupol harbour continues being under mine clearance works, the port infrastructure is routinely under reconstruction.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have created the necessary conditions for the operation of two maritime humanitarian corridors that constitute safe lanes for navigation:

in the Black Sea (every day from 08:00 AM to 07:00 PM) to leave Kherson, Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Ochakov, Odessa and Yuzhnyi ports towards south-west from Ukraine’s territorial sea, 139 miles long and 3 miles wide;

in the Sea of Azov (uninterruptedly) to leave Mariupol port, 115 miles long and 2 miles wide, towards the Black Sea.

Detailed information on the modus operandi of the maritime humanitarian corridors is broadcast daily every 15 minutes by VHF radio on 14 and 16 international channels in English and Russian.

The Kiev authorities continue to avoid engaging with representatives of states and ship-owning companies to resolve the issue of ensuring the safe passage of foreign vessels to the assembly area. The danger to navigation from Ukrainian mines drifting off their anchors along the coasts of Black Sea states remains.

The Russian Federation is taking a full range of comprehensive measures to ensure the safety of civilian navigation in the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

Demining detachments of the Russian Armed Forces and the EMERCOM of Russia continue clearing the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics of explosive remnants.

A total of 4,040,89 hectares were explored (including 35,17 hectares over the past 24 hours), 39 buildings (including 13 socially important facilities), 4 bridges and 9.64 km of roads. 63,474 explosive remnants (over the past 24 hours: 3,153) have been detected and neutralised.

Federal executive authorities, in coordination with the regions of the Russian Federation, various public organizations, patriotic movements, continue to accumulate humanitarian aid.

among political parties and non-profit organisations: United Russia, the All-Russian Public Movement ‘People’s Front’, the All-Russian Public Organisation of Veterans ‘Battle Brotherhood’, the autonomous non-profit organisation to support humanitarian programmes ‘Russian Humanitarian Mission’, the Open Joint Stock Company ‘Russian Railways’, the State Space Corporation ‘Roscosmos’ and the All-Russian Public State Organisation ‘Union of Russian Women’.

Over 47.3 thousand tonnes of prime necessity items, groceries, medication and medical products have been prepared at the collection points.

Since March 2, 2022, 44,560,6 tonnes of humanitarian goods within 1,316 humanitarian campaigns; over the past 24 hours, the civilian population has been provided with 353,8 tonnes of humanitarian goods within 5 humanitarian campaigns held in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, as well as in Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions.

On June 16, 2022, four humanitarian campaigns are being carried out in the Donetsk People’s Republic, in Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions, during which 356.7 tonnes of basic necessities, medicine and food are distributed.
