Russia: Magomed Yevloyev’s Played His Last Hand!

Ingushetiya.ru, Owner Shot Dead!

Hello,

This is a good one and believe me there is much more to this story than what is being told. But nothing changes the facts that a man was shot and dumped near a hospital to die.

The owner of the embattled opposition web site Ingushetiya.ru was killed Sunday after being detained by police, and his supporters promised massive protests that could lead to a sharp escalation in violence in the restive region.

Magomed Yevloyev, a prominent opposition member and staunch critic of Ingush President Murat Zyazikov, was detained in Ingushetia’s main city of Nazran as he stepped off a plane from Moscow, his lawyer and friend Kaloi Akhilgov said by telephone.

He said Yevloyev had flown in business class with Zyazikov, a retired general from the Federal Security Service, and suggested that the two might have quarreled during the flight.

Ingush police said they had wanted to question Yevloyev in connection with an investigation into an explosion in Nazran earlier this year, Interfax reported.

Once inside the police car, Yevloyev, a Moscow-based lawyer and former investigator in the Ingush Prosecutor’s Office, attempted to wrestle an assault rifle away from one of the officers and was accidentally shot in the head during the scuffle, the police said.

Ingush opposition activist Magomed Khazbiyev said Yevloyev was found lying near a Nazran hospital with a bullet in his temple, Interfax reported. (Link)

Am I to believe that he was shot accidentally? (sources say shot in the temple)
Am I to believe that he tried to grab a gun?
Am I to believe that he was detained by police and was not constrained away from weapons?
Am I to believe that it was real cops that detained him?
Am I to believe that he was not wanted for termination?

What I do believe with out a doubt, is that it was a very badly planned issuance. That two wrongs do not make a right. I believe that a big mistake was made, even if it was someone that was considered very wrong in his way and manners of getting his point across.

His past and the way he proceeded to express himself got him in hot water and now he will be 6 foot under. Earlier in August, the Moscow City Court upheld a lower court’s decision in June to close Ingushetiya.ru on charges of carrying extremist content. Prosecutors have also accused the web site of inciting ethnic hatred.

There is a song by Kenny Rogers, The Gambler:

You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when you’re sittin’ at the table.
There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealin’s done.

now Ev’ry gambler knows that the secret to survivin’
Is knowin’ what to throw away and knowing what to keep.
‘Cause ev’ry hand’s a winner and ev’ry hand’s a loser,
And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep.”

It did not help that his last hand he played in life, was on the jet that they detained him from. He got into an argument with Ingush President Murat Zyazikov, a retired general from the Federal Security Service. (opps)

What I believe is that he was not killed by accident and no one in their right mind would believe that, even me…..

Russia: ‘US to strike Iran in coming weeks’

Hello,

Well looks like our vacation could become a war zone…….
——————————————————————————-
Sep. 1, 2008
JPost.com Staff , THE JERUSALEM POST

The Dutch intelligence service, the AIVD, has called off an operation aimed at infiltrating and sabotaging Iran’s weapons industry due to an assessment that a US attack on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program is imminent, according to a report in the country’s De Telegraaf newspaper on Friday.

The report claimed that the Dutch operation had been “extremely successful,” and had been stopped because the US military was planning to hit targets that were “connected with the Dutch espionage action.”

The impending air-strike on Iran was to be carried out by unmanned aircraft “within weeks,” the report claimed, quoting “well placed” sources.

The Jerusalem Post could not confirm the De Telegraaf report.

According to the report, information gleaned from the AIVD’s operation in Iran has provided several of the targets that are to be attacked in the strike, including “parts for missiles and launching equipment.”

“Information from the AIVD operation has been shared in recent years with the CIA,” the report said.

On Saturday, Iran’s Deputy Chief of Staff General Masoud Jazayeri warned that should the United States or Israel attack Iran, it would be the start of another World War.

On Friday, Ma’ariv reported that Israel had made a strategic decision to deny Iran military nuclear capability and would not hesitate “to take whatever means necessary” to prevent Teheran from achieving its nuclear goals.

According to the report, whether the United States and Western countries succeed in thwarting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear ambitions diplomatically, through sanctions, or whether a US strike on Iran is eventually decided upon, Jerusalem has begun preparing for a separate, independent military strike.

Can they wait until after we travel to Israel in October? (Like how about: No War!)

We really want to go to Israel and see the Holy land before it gets redecorated!

Russia: Don’t Try to Give me That Substandard Chicken!

Hello,

I was drinking my morning cup of coffee and came across Russia Banning 19 USA Poultry Companies. I turned to my wife and said Tyson Foods is going to be one of these companies. Guess what? It was….

How would I know this: Amongst my resume of things that I have done in my life, I spent many years dealing with Corporate Food Service! One of the issues that befalls upper management is to make deals with other Corporations for food supplies. One of the worst suppliers that I had to deal with was Tyson Foods. I vetoed many shipments of Tyson products in my time. why? Because they were made up up substandard products and non compliance with rules & regulations.

Why do you think that in the early 2000’s Tyson is and was one of the top 10 worst Corporations in America? (The situation has not gotten any better with Tyson over antibiotics in chickens!)

When I see Tyson in the store here, I just shake my head and say to my wife, “Don’t buy….!”

Russia: Georgia Leaves Their People in Russia Diplomatically Stranded!

Saakashvili explains to Bush how not to see your people!
Hello,

Seems Georgia (Saakashvili) is a country (person) that seriously does not care for its people.

“Georgia severed diplomatic ties with Russia and toughened visa requirements for Russian citizens over the weekend in response to Moscow’s decision to recognize the independence of its separatist provinces of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.” (Link)

The population of Georgia is 4,630,841 people. This fact comes out of the CIA fact list. The population of Georgians in Russia is about 2,000,000 to 2,200,000. They say that 600,000 to 1 million Georgian immigrants live in and near Moscow alone.

Now, understand that Georgia has broken diplomatic ties with Russia: They have left 2 Million people in Russia with no one to turn to for help. 2 Million people in Russia that have been left by their country. The people have no protection from any political issues that arise between governments. A Embassy and Consulate helps to promote trade and investment between Georgia and Russia. They also help in political, economic and other developments. The Consuls are also responsible for the consular protection of Georgian nationals who are temporary residents in, or visitors to, their consular district.

Now, also understand that a country that has only 4 and a half million people in it, really needs to preserve a relationship with the 2 million plus Georgians that have been secluded in Russia. That is close to half the population that remains in Georgia.

But then again, that makes sense because Georgia (Saakashvili) attacked (Who they claim to be) their own people in South Ossetia……………..

Makes me think.

Russian Americans: CRA has Expressed Media Concerns!

The Congress of Russian Americans (CRA) has expressed concern over the lopsided coverage of the Georgia-South Ossetia conflict by the U.S. mass media. It has sent letters to the White House and the U.S. State Department, according to CRA Director Georgy Avisov.

“There is no fundamental reason that can prevent peaceful and mutually beneficial cooperation between the U.S. and Russia,” the letter says.

The Congress of Russian Americans is one of the oldest and best-known NGOs for U.S. citizens of Russian origin.

Russia: German Weekly Magazine Der Spiegel comments on South Ossetia!

Hello,

Looks like Monday is going to be interesting:

Evidence of “numerous erroneous decisions of the Georgian leadership which led to the beginning of a crisis in the Caucasus” are accumulating in the OSCE headquarters, says the German weekly magazine Der Spiegel in an announcement of an article to be published on Monday.

The magazine says that “a lot of corresponding reports by OSCE observers in the Caucasus have unofficially fallen into the hands of some governmental authorities in Berlin.”

According to this data, Georgia had been actively preparing a military strike against South Ossetia and began the attack before Russian tanks entered the Roksky tunnel connecting South Ossetia and Russia.

Also, there are reports of observers who say that the Georgian authorities ordered that the attack on South Ossetian civilians at night when they were sleeping, the announcement says.(Link)

We will wait and see….

Russia: Nikolai Valuev beats John Ruiz to claim WBA title

BERLIN, August 31 (RIA Novosti) – Russian boxer Nikolai Valuev has beaten American John Ruiz in Berlin to reclaim the WBA title.

The judges’ decision to declare a Valuev victory at the Max Schmeling arena late on Saturday was unanimous. However, there was some initial confusion when the fight was at first declared, in what turned out to be a mix-up, a split decision.

Valuev weighed in 40 kg (88.2 lbs) heavier than his Puerto Rican-American opponent.

“It is great to have the title back and I am very happy about it,” said Valuev after the fight.

The seven-foot (2.13-meter) Valuev became Russia’s first world heavyweight champion in December 2005 when he defeated Ruiz. In April last year he lost his title to Ruslan ‘White Tyson’ Chagaev from Uzbekistan.

Since then Chagaev has defended his title once, but a torn achilles tendon forced a delay in his mandatory challenge bout against Valuev. On July 4, the WBA decided to sanction a match against the Russian’s closest contender, John Ruiz.

Chagaev is currently what the WBA calls a “champion in recess,” and Valuev will now have to face Chagaev before June 26, 2009, if the Uzbek manages to get fighting fit by then. (Link)

Russia: OSCE report points finger at Georgia for S. Ossetia crisis!

30/08/2008 17:07 BERLIN, August 30 (RIA Novosti) – The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe has accumulated evidence pointing to “numerous wrong decisions” made by Georgian leaders that led to a military crisis with Russia, Der Spiegel said on Saturday.

In a report to be published in its Monday edition, OSCE military observers in the Caucasus described detailed planning by Georgia to move into South Ossetia which contributed to the crisis, the German magazine said.

The report also backed up Russian claims that the Georgian offensive was already in full swing by the time Russian troops and armored vehicles entered the Roksky Tunnel, on the border with Russia and South Ossetia, to protect its peacekeepers and the civilian population.

The OSCE report also contains suspected war crimes committed by Georgians, who ordered attacks on sleeping South Ossetian civilians.

Georgia attacked South Ossetia on August 8 in an attempt to regain control over the separatist republic, which split from Tbilisi in the early 1990s.

Most people living in South Ossetia have Russian citizenship and Moscow subsequently launched an operation to “force Georgia to accept peace.” The operation was concluded on August 12.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed decrees Tuesday recognizing South Ossetia and Abkhazia as independent states and called on other countries to follow suit.

Russia has accused Georgia of committing “genocide” by launching the offensive in South Ossetia. Russia is calling for an international war crimes trial for the Georgian leadership, which Moscow says is responsible for massive loss of life in South Ossetia.

Russia: City of Desolate Mothers!

This is about South Ossetia: Truth! This will help you understand why Russia did what they did to help South Ossetia……

RT correspondent: Oksana Boyko investigates the aftermath of the conflict in South Ossetia. She produced an in depth report into the mothers who are grieving the loss of their children during the war.

Why? Georgia, Why? What did we do to you? Why? Georgia Why?: the mother cries over her dead son!

I ask: “What did South Ossetia do to deserve being attacked by Georgia?”
I ask: “Do you really think that Georgia considered Ossetians their people?”
