Time to finish the fenced area I started years ago…

Nikolai’s parents owned the land right behind Sveta’s mothers home. This land has been surveyed and is in the process of being turned over to us, as it is part of what we bought when we got our new home after Nikolai died…

Everything in Russia is a time consuming process, just as doing this simple thing. But I will finish the fence this week, if the rain will hold off…

I started the process many years ago. I did it to stop idiots from driving all over it. And to stop the Orthodox Church from grabbing it free. There are times you have to do what you have to do and this piece of property is one of those times…

I will also mow the plot and start keeping it under control…

I am a hardcore Capricorn in heart and soul and land, soil and earth is extremely important to us Capricorns…

Gonna walk and got lots of work to do. Tomorrow I will visit the Big Village and get home supplies to finish some of my projects I have started…

I just wish there were more of me to get all I have to do done… 😉

Russia will begin to ease its coronavirus-related restrictions, President Vladimir Putin has announced. The exit from the partial lockdown will be gradual and not too fast, he added. “Starting from tomorrow, May 12, the joint non-working period for the whole country and for all the sectors of its economy ends,” Putin said during a televised speech on Monday. But the fight against the epidemic does not end. The danger persists, even in areas where the situation is relatively safe. The non-working period was announced in Russia in late March and has been extended several times since then. The conclusion of the ‘holiday’ period allows Russia’s regional authorities to begin lifting Covid-related restrictions. This process will not be fast, Putin said, and all anti-coronavirus precautionary measures will remain in place. Any mass gatherings will remain banned across the country as well. The mandatory self-isolation regime that has been in place for weeks across Russia will be prolonged for the elderly (65 years and older), as well as for individuals suffering from chronic diseases.

At 4 a.m. I opened up the web browser and looked at the news….When I found front page, Sassy was back, I knew my day was going to be good. This man is my favorite puppet wandering for America politician, bar none anywhere in the world…

I know I sound facetious, but really I do like this guy. I could be friends with him, as long as you know how to keep him in his place. He is the type of guy who you (America) can throw under the bus and he smiles as he gets up and thanks you for doing that. Everyone needs a friend like that. A friend to take all the blame for your antics…

After weeks of rumors and speculations, Mikhail Saakashvili, former Georgian president who is wanted for embezzlement at home, was appointed as the head of Ukraine’s executive council on reforms. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on Thursday confirming Saakashvili’s new political role. Zelensky said that he “sincerely congratulated” the 52-year-old on this “new challenge,” adding that he trusts Saakashvili to be able to “provide impetus” to the body and help him with “implementing important changes in the life of the country.” According to media leaks, Saakashvili was initially considered for the job of deputy prime minister, but there was no unity on his candidacy even among members of Zelensky’s own party. The National Reform Council, which he has now taken charge of, is a presidential advisory body – and does need an “impetus,” as it last convened more than two years ago.

Gotta have a Saakashvili with morning coffee…

Getting ready to walk this morning. Then fill the barrel with 200 liters of water for the garden and fill all the buckets around the home. I see onions, garlic and potatoes starting to poke their little noses out. As if to say, “Is it safe yet?”

Maybe I will go to the Big Village and try to find some sheeting for a roof to the awnings I built? But, I really do not want to leave TRV….but I really want to finish the awnings….but…

Lets walk & get water first, write a post and enjoy the baby birds singing all around the Tiny Russian Village…
