Windows to Russia

Weather was good and will be good for a couple of days and I decided to spruce the Ole Village Home up. I repaired a roof section and then I scraped and scraped. Then I started to paint and paint. The wood soaked up the paint like a sponge and I definitely have to give it another coat of paint…

I finally got the back of the barn cleaned out and am in the process of repairing the bad areas. I hope to live ten plus more years and want my barn the whole time. 😉

This morning I will go to the Fish Village and buy more paint. I know they have two cans at least and that will save me from having to go to the Big Village…

So I went to bed last night at 9 p.m. and up at 2 a.m. this morning….that five hours of sleep is just about like clock work and I can’t get around it. The only difference is that if I went to bed at midnight, I would still get up around 3 a.m…. Yuck…

Today I finish the eaves of the wall I started to paint and then start scraping another wall. I need to get a bag of concrete and rework the foundation in areas. Then I will paint the foundation burnt orange again…

I also….have a million other things to do. So right now I will walk for a couple of hours and start painting again…

I looked at some news today. I have intentionally stayed away from the Main Stream Media and today I looked over what I missed…

Actually I missed nothing, but what I saw and realized was this…

I took a few day rest from the news and when I stepped back, it sprang out like a demon from the shadows…

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump’s arms control negotiator on Thursday said the United States is prepared to spend Russia and China “into oblivion” in order to win a new nuclear arms race. “The president has made clear that we have a tried and true practice here. We know how to win these races and we know how to spend the adversary into oblivion. If we have to, we will, but we sure would like to avoid it,” Special Presidential Envoy Marshall Billingslea said in an online presentation to a Washington think tank.

Former US Marine Paul Whelan has been held by the Russian authorities for nearly 17 months after he was arrested in Moscow in 2018 because of a flash drive in his possession that contained classified information.The Russian prosecutor is asking for an 18-year term in a high-security prison for US national Paul Whelan on espionage charges, according to a Moscow court.The court is expected to deliver a verdict in the case in June after the closing arguments.

Wild Boar…

Tracks of wild boar are getting thick. Last night they were happy to rut around in the main road. They are thick, just like the foxes…

Not sure I appreciate an abundance of wild boar?

They can be dangerous and destructive and very aggressive. They will attack, before you even know they are around and I dealt with them many times in the Ozarks in Missouri, USA. Been attacked before and in that era you always carried a gun with you. Saved me twice in the woods…

Too close to the Tiny Russian Village for comfort….several children running around with no care in the world and no parents watching, as everyone is mainly city people and they do not understand the basics. Not that a parent is able to stop a wild boar (кабан – Caban as Russian call them) charge…
