The number of people recovered from the novel coronavirus in China has exceeded cases of infections for the first time in the past 24 hours, China’s Xinhua news agency reported Wednesday citing the Chinese health committee. On February 18, 1,824 fully recovered patients discharged from hospitals in China, while 1,749 new coronavirus infections were reported that day. Overall, 14,376 recoveries are reported in the country.

Russia proved in the wake of the oil price crashes that the USA tries to use against Russia and Iran. Russia is the swing producer of oil and gas – not the US and not Saudi Arabia…
Additionally, Russia has the ability to completely destroy any shipping or oil production in the Gulf through Iran. As a result, they control the world oil price. This implies that we would be looking at $600+ oil and $60+ natural gas overnight for an indefinite period of time with no one able to do anything about it, given Russia’s full support and Iran’s inclination (note to Israel and the US: it may not take much at this point). This implies that the economies of the EU and including USA will be destroyed by serious hits on their very fragile economies…

I hope to take Svetochka this weekend on one of my walks. She is suppose to be here all weekend. She has been at her sons and taking care of her grandkids. Now she gets to take care of me… 😉
I walked through what I call Chickadee Forest. It is actually called Elk Island Reserve, but since it is full of Chickadees and I just love my little baby Chickadees, as they sing and sing…
So I call it Chickadee Forest…

While she should have not been able to get out (bad quarantine in my book). She also should have enough sense to know that she is a time bomb waiting to happen and a few weeks in quarantine would be a small price to pay to help keep from spreading the coronavirus…

In retrospect, how could it be otherwise? The West is infested with even the guttersnipe of terrorists and dictators. If the West was and is not willing to negotiate with Russia for anything less than Russia’s full surrender and defeat?
