Russia is and has been pulling the gloves off. No more padded punches; bare “Bear Knuckle” from now on…
Lavrov said that the time when the West called the shots was over and, dismissing NATO as a relic of the Cold War, added: “I hope that (the world) will choose a democratic world order — a post-West one — in which each country is defined by its sovereignty.”
Lavrov said Moscow wanted to build relations with Washington which would be “pragmatic with mutual respect and acknowledgement of our responsibility for global stability.”
I had hoped for Trump to be what I see in Russia. The Russian leaders Putin and Lavrov are 100% for Russia and the Russian people. Don’t give me the crap about how Russia is run by a dictator!
Russians want a man who is the “BOSS!”
Lavrov says what is needed to be said and Putin Talks the Talk and Walks the Walk…
Trump get on the bandwagon and clean that nasty, dirty, corrupt swamp, called Washington DC…
It is time Trump to “Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk…”
The days of “Pussification” of our men, have to end. I know that if I acted like a normal American male, Svetochka would run away. She expects a man to be a man and a woman is a woman. Women have all the rights in the world, but one right that cannot be allowed is to castigate men for being men and what I see in the Western Empire is total castigation of men…
Real men accept their woman as an equal and support their woman as an equal and the same is vice versa…
But you do not have to be weak about the whole thing and bow down to society pressures. Pressure instigated by weak, whinny, crying, screaming, violent people who never was taught their countries culture, ways and methods…
Again I will say, “Fix what is wrong at home first, then reach out in confidence and embrace the world with the moral high ground.”
Old images of the Tiny Russian Village. I get images sent to me and I decided to post them today. They are not large and as per era of taking them, mostly by an old cell phone, they are still good but small. The village has changed a lot and I live in the shell of what was. The Tiny Russian Village was thriving at one time and now there are just three of us living here…
Монастырский комплекс: Бабыкино, Сараевский район, Рязанская область – Baykin Monastery, Sarayevsky District – right image in pink color…
Just thought that for the record, I would post some information about the place I live. Its location, old images and whatever…

Coffee is great this morning. I just finished my second cup and Boza and I walked twice already. I went to the Big Village yesterday and it was fun. The people on the bus all know me now and they are tickled that this American lives as they do. In Russia the bus is the mainstay of the Tiny Russian Villages to allow people to get to resources. There are a bunch of villages like the one I live in and they all are literally located on goat trails…
Then I realized why Russians are thin for the most part. They walk and walk and walk…
Now in a city like Moscow and such, you see much heavier people, but in the Tiny Russian Villages; the people are lean and tough. Now occasionally you see what you might think is a heavy babushka. They are not very often, but they are layered with clothes, twelve layers deep…. I have noticed that there are a handful of guys in the Big Village who have huge bellies. This is prone to being beer drinkers and not vodka drinkers…
* * * * *
I myself have thinned down even more. I am still too heavy, but I have reached around 100 kilos and while that is good, it is still too heavy. That is about 220 pounds…. I figure that this summer I will get to about 200 pounds, I hope. Then I will stop at that…
Yesterday I carried at least 30 kilos on me and never had an issue, except my feet do hurt today…. 30 kilos is deceiving to an America. We think in pounds. Thus, while 30 is not that formidable sounding, it becomes interesting when you convert it from kilos to pounds. That 30 becomes 66 + pounds. Oops it got heavy fast as I bought things to bring home. I am lucky; I was carrying what I have lost in weight and if I weighed what I did two years ago. I could have never carried what I did. Makes me feel good…
It is a different quality of life to be able to walk kilometers and kilometers and go places…. Rain, snow, sleet or shine. Last winter I was still in too rough shape to be able to walk out of the Tiny Russian Village. I did one time and thought it would kill me. This year, I have been regularly walking out and the weather has been much worse than last year…
This week I will walk to a medium size village called Mozhary…
Villages to walk too are;Mozhary, Borets, Sysoi (Medium Villages) and ride a bus to Sarai (Big Village)…..
This summer! I will walk to the bus and go to the Big Village for food. Saves gas, saves wear and tear on the car and will help keep me in shape…
Want to keep Windows out of your privacy? Still want the Windows ease of doing things and the familiarity?
Then this is for you…
NeoKylin Linux – Chinese
Astra Linux – Russian
NeoKylin or just Kylin in China, is developed by “China Standard Software,” located in Shanghai. It is also, with idiosyncrasies attributed to the Chinese, a very stable OS…
Scientific/Manufacturing Enterprise RusBitTech has developed, for the use of the Russian Government a very very stable Linux and yes, I have been working with it for weeks…. Astra Linux…
To review them would be worthless and not what I am about. But, to tell you that I have mixed and matched the two systems and complied a stable OS for permanent usage. Is what I care about. I found that the Chinese system was restrictive in its use, yet very innovative under the hood. I found the Russian system, which seemed to be based on Red Star Linux, weaker under the hood, but WM per Fly, was super and excellent. Plus the Russians had added some very important programs that just caught my inner Geek…
Both OS’s have a common and a special edition. The common edition is what I am dealing with. Very complete and very easy to install. I give the edge to the Russian system for ease of install. I can see why these countries have developed the respective OS’s and as the future unfolds, these OS’s will get better and better…
They can be daily drivers right now though… And no doubt the special editions are vastly superior…
Linux has come a long ways and it now has literally anything in software to replace Windows software. Then there is always WINE and use that Windows software anyway…
Snapshot of my desktop; Look familiar?
Its is almost an exact XP Clone, and many people could not tell the difference, until you open a terminal. Then Linux stands out in full force…
I am not talking about just a theme. I am talking about right to the core of the system, it is Windows XP on steroids. Fast, powerful and safe to use in the World Wide Web…
It was inevitable…
Both Russia and China have had serious issues with hacking by Microsoft and the US government. Using a software based in the US is like using steel wool as toilet paper. Not very smart and hurts like hell. Both countries have been pushed to this by sanctions, US policies and US spying…
I for one am glad and have increased my learning curve to a much higher degree. These OS’s are some very stable systems ad I have decided to keep them both and watch them grow into full fledged, adult Linux OS’s…
A coup d’etat is in full swing. Are you paying attention?
All this is happening while you sleep…

The borders are closing and not the way you think….
Immigrants will always get in. The borders are closing going out. That is what all this rigmarole is about…
America is having a brain drain. The wealth is leaving, the intelligence is leaving and they are trying to stop it. Just look around…. It has been going on for many years now. It started in earnest under Obama, the writing on the wall was obvious during Bush’s era. Obama just accelerated it. Don’t fall for the governmental bull, just listen to the people who actually live in other countries. You may have to expand your searches beyond the MSM and that might hurt your intellect…
Did I insult someone, Good! You need to think for yourself and that my friend is exactly what is wrong. We have lost the ability to be independent…
Time to wake up and toss off the governmental blanket of warmth and comfort…. The long term repercussions are a terrible thing to behold. Short term pain, will be offset by the long term gain…
Finally, American society begins to mature, which isn’t simply shown in just the rejection of the stream of lies Western journalists are broadcasting, but also in the ongoing fight against corporate media bias.
This has been noted in a SurveyUSA poll, which asked 1,207 registered voters back in February about their opinion on certain press outlets. It’s curious that just 17% of voters had a very favorable opinion of CNN, while no more than 14% of voters had a favorable opinion of The New York Times. The Washington Post and MSNBC similarly were only very favorably viewed by less than 15% of voters. Another finding that, to a certain degree, allowed Trump to secure his victory was that Fox News was the outlet with the highest favorability in the poll, but only at 21%.
Boza and I walked and walked yesterday. We got snowed big time as we walked and viability was very poor all day. The lower valley road had been plowed and the sides were three foot deep. Straight up, like the Cliffs of Dover. A little mouse had fallen off this cliff and was stuck in the road. Boza smelled him and I saw him. He was trying to climb the wall of snow and ice. He was a cute thing and much different than the house mice we deal with all the time…
It panicked and tried to burrow down into the snow, as Boza sniffed at him and I dug down under him, snow and all and picked him or her up.I saw it poke its head out of its temporary home and look at me. It stayed calm and I looked from which way it came. I saw that it had come from the river side of the road and I sat him down in the snow on that side. It looked at me for a few seconds and then turned and hopped away…
Then I thought about taking a picture and got the best I could. He decided that since fate was fortunate, he would not hang around to test it…
The reason he could not get out of the road is because the sides of the road are literally solid ice. Plowed, compacted, sight melting and deep freeze. I am sure it looked like Mount Everest to the little guy…

Hopefully Svetochka will come around the 25th of February. Bear and Boza are wiggling their butt’s and dancing at that news…

I am seeing some bad signs from Trump and his administration! Looks like sell out time. But I expected it; for he will and his family will be assassinated if he does not. That is the American way. I realize that people do know this deep down inside them, or at least the ones who have a brain left. It just is, we do not like to face reality and the reality is that, America is the most corrupt and divisive country in the world. Power corrupts and it has been said well in the past…
Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
History is not a burden on the memory but an illumination of the soul.
The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks.
The danger is not that a particular class is unfit to govern. Every class is unfit to govern.
Learn as much by writing as by reading.
Every thing secret degenerates, even the administration of justice; nothing is safe that does not show how it can bear discussion and publicity.
The most certain test by which we judge whether a country is really free is the amount of security enjoyed by minorities.
Liberty is not the power of doing what we like, but the right to do what we ought.
And remember, where you have a concentration of power in a few hands, all too frequently men with the mentality of gangsters get control. History has proven that.
Now he had a handle on what is going on. It has always gone on and always will, until, we the people change things and keep a handle on it ourselves…
That will not happen, for amongst those that mean well, are new ones who will corrupt…
Fact Jack… And it is beyond my control, beyond your control and beyond all of our control. Does not mean I do not care! It just means that I have watched power corrupt friends, family and acquaintances. I have reached the point of becoming very tired of people who do not care. We have a world full of these people, they all sellout, they all sell their souls and they all would bury their family for a dollar…
What you gonna do?

I realized as humans on this earth we are lost…
The average human attention span was 12 seconds in 2000 and 8 seconds in 2013. A drop of 33%. The scary part is that the attention span of a goldfish was 9 seconds, almost 13% more than us humans. That’s why it’s getting tougher by the day to get people to turn the page. Maybe we writers ought to try writing for goldfish! – Ashwin Sanghi
I can only hope that I get a bunch of goldfish reading the blog…. And or maybe in charge of the world governments…
This song makes me want to cry. “You may think I am crazy” – But I do really wish that we could live in a world that did not have oil, no wars, no hate, no pressure. Imagine a world that we help each other and live in peace. Hard to do isn’t it?
That devil gene is hell on us humans…
Imagine there’s no Heaven.
Imagine there’s no Countries.
Imagine all the People
Living for Today….
I look at the roof of our Tiny Russian Village home and see a dream of a bank of solar cells. I imagine no electricity by a meter. The only power I would need is available in plentiful supply, right above my head. Right above your head…
Something that struck me as important; The only animals on earth that ever paid for living here are humans. Animals do not pay a thing, unless humans get hold of them. Then they pay, with their life, with captivity and with existence a a species. Animals unlike the human animal that we are, live in balance with nature. They do not rent a home and or buy a home. They do not sell what is not theirs in the first place. They do not try to kill for pleasure. They simply live on the earth and earth supplies what is needed. The numbers of a given species is balanced into the whole equation…
Then along came man – woman and then the “iPhone…”
In between was some horrific inhuman acts of barbarism and we learned not a damn thing from all that…
I have compiled a version of the new Russian based Linux. Called Astra and it is simply the “Cat’s Meow”…
It is what I am running on now and it is stable, fast and is far from being done. I decided that using Windows was a fail fail proposition and what better Linux to use then the one that the Russian Gov. is developing…
Nuff said; It is Debian based and really the “Cat’s Meow!”

Vova and went to the Big Village. He had some very important paper work that could not wait and if it did not get done, he would be in trouble. One thing he had to do is renew his firearms license. Guns are big in Russia and most everyone I know has a weapon. Hunting is big time here, you just have to be registered. But they are well armed in Russia and that is something you do not realize, coming from America. Russians have that same freedom, just that they do not openly brag about weapon ownership. Smart is what I call that…
Vova was happy, Russia just increased the pension amount and he has ended up with almost a thousand rubles more a month. That made Vova smile…
* * * * *
It was a rough trip, we almost made it back. The Niva of his is buried in the valley, but we were close to home. Now it is snowing this morning and I hope we find the Niva in all the new snow. Sometimes it is seriously “winter” here in the Tiny Russian Village… 😉
Vova needs to go back Wednesday, but scuttlebutt’s, it may not happen…

Therefore, today is a read a book day, as the snow piles up two feet or more deep in front of the door. Boza has done his doggy business and is sleeping soundly. I have to fill the bird feeders and not put anything on the ground today. They will not find the food on the ground. But they like their feeders and I will put out some salo for the jay birds…
Image cut today from the Google Search Engine. Not sure how long it will last, but Google loves WtR right now and I will keep on doing what I am doing. Almost 6000 posts in over 10 years of blogging. Ups and downs, actually many more downs than up. But, like I say, “Take one step at a time and keep on plucking away.”
The bottom line is: If you want to know about Russia?
You will find it somewhere on this blog…
Oh and yes it is snowing, serious snow. Like a foot in the last hour snow. Like Boza and I tried to walk and we could not walk, snow!
I went to bed; weather said, “-10 and tomorrow -4”, they lied and my weather station lied. Boza woke me up at 4 a.m.and it was -20 at that time and as I write this article, it is now -21…
Boza went outside and shivered. Then he decided to try to walk and do doggy business. In about two minutes, he passed me going home, as I followed him down the mountain and was waiting for me at the door of the home. I yelled at him, “What? Your pants on fire?” As I turned around and trudged back up the hill…
Guess he had better things to do?
Yes he did, he wanted food and his couch to sleep on again. Thus, he just had to do doggy business, which by the way is easy for him, he has his coat on at all times. Me, I have to bundle up and get ready for freezing weather. Oh, well! I also get woke up…
* * * * *
The weather has been wonderful. Only -3 or -4 during the day and sun shining. It was wonderful and made for long good walks with Boza. Then something happened…
Old Man Winter got grouchy again…

Images are self explanatory and I have to get ready to go with Vova to the Big Village. He has decided to try to get his Niva down the mountain, to the plowed part and we will ride off into the sunset!
Most likely we will get down the mountain. Gravity has a way of helping. But trying to get back up the mountain is another thing or two. It is snowing right now and I just do not know? I will go, for Vova cannot be let loose on the Big Village alone!
We are heathens from the country you know?
Just Tiny Russian Villagers, from a Tiny Russian Village
