Tidbit of coronavirus info:

A total of 20 nations from Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia have already requested doses of Russia’s breakthrough coronavirus vaccine, which was confirmed to be registered on Tuesday by Russian President Vladimir Putin. At a conference dedicated to the announcement of the vaccine’s registration, the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) explained that it had already received orders for a billion doses.“Together with our foreign partners, we are ready to produce more than 500 million doses of the vaccine per year,” Kirill Dmitriev explained. Everything produced in Russia will be used domestically, and doses for use in other countries will be made abroad.

Update:

Sputnik V, the Russian vaccine against Covid-19, has already become subject to coordinated information attacks from nations that have political differences with Moscow. That’s according to the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) which bankrolled the research. Kirill Dmitriev claims that, whether inspired by commercial concerns or just malice, the politicized approach of a number of Western countries ultimately jeopardizes the health and safety of their own citizens. In the development and trials of the vaccine, Russia used a proven platform that had been tested on thousands of people over the past six years, the RDIF chief stressed, during an online conference on Tuesday.“ Coordinated and carefully prepared information attacks on the Russian vaccine are trying to discredit and hide the correctness of the Russian approach to drug development,” Dmitriev said. “A politicized approach to the Russian vaccine on the part of a number of Western countries endangers the lives of their citizens.”

Russia Becomes First Country to Register COVID-19 Vaccine

Russia’s first vaccine against the coronavirus was developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute. Clinical trials of the vaccine were launched on 18 June and all 38 volunteers developed immunity. Russia has become the first country in the world to register a vaccine against COVID-19, President Vladimir Putin announced on Tuesday during a government meeting. The president also asked Health Minister Mikhail Murashko to keep him informed about the vaccine, while at the same time noting that he knows “it works quite effectively” and “forms a stable immunity”. “I hope we will be able to start mass production of this medication in the near future, which is very important”, the president said.Putin further thanked everyone who worked on the first-ever vaccine against the coronavirus, and described it as “a very important step for the world”. “I hope that our colleagues abroad will also move forward, and there will be quite a lot of products that can be used on the market, on the world market for medicines and vaccines”, Putin continued. The Russian president also revealed that one of his daughters had been vaccinated against the coronavirus. “In this sense, she took part in the experiment. After the first vaccination, she had a body temperature of 38 degrees Celsius, while the following day it was slightly over 37 degrees Celsius, that’s it. After the second injection, the second vaccination, her temperature also rose a little, and then everything cleared up, she feels good and the [antibody] titers are high”, Putin stated.

In Russia you try to get others to do their job, yet you always end up doing it for them…

Tried all summer and now that summer is gone, I had to try to salvage our power pole to survive another winter. It is one of those issues that Russia has a problem with…

Trying to get even the power company to do its job is like pulling teeth on a raging bull….just does not happen very easily…

In Russia you are either self-sufficient or simply don’t care. It takes much patience, stamina and willpower to accomplish things and humans look the other way most of the time… – Me

It is one of the reasons I love Russia, yet at times it also can be one of the most frustrating things that you have to deal with. Thus, I did my best and put an oak beam against our failing power pole…

You have to do what it takes to protect your own…

I dug a hole at an angle about 3/4 of a meter deep and drug a 400 lb beam and actually the main trunk of a small oak tree and finally after hours and tearing old injuries in my grouchy bear body, The beam fell into place….I was smart and drilled three holes through the beam at the top and cut the beam at the top at an angle to lay against the power pole, before starting the project….I had bought a box of long heavy steel spikes to attach the beam to the pole through the holes I drilled…

You should have seen the look on my face as the beam fell against the power pole and sat in its hole in the ground at a perfect angle….It was one of those, never in a million years will that happen again. It as my grandma would say, “Was meant to be!”

Believe me, I can appreciate how huge and heavy a power pole is after what I did…

Then I painted it white, because it is so close to the edge of the main road and this morning I orange stripped it to make it stand out better. I am sure that there will be many Russians wondering, “What the Hell?”

It is better than nothing and since we cannot get the power company to do a damn thing about it, I hope that this, with the other work I have done on it, will keep the pole up for the winter!

Then we can start again and try to get the power company to replace the pole…

You do what you gotta do, for they seem to do what they wanna do also!

You wait, tomorrow they will come with a crane huge truck and replace it… 😉

WtR

Yesterday, I had to try to support our power pole near our home. We called and asked for help, but, as you can imagine, coronavirus is the boss and they will be very longtime before getting out to help us. Therefore, I wrapped wire and wedged wood and drove spikes and cussed a bunch. I hope we can get it to stay upright until they can get out to fix it. I also had to put a brace on a home that is hooked to the same line. The home is trying to fall over… and it will take our pole down… which will tear a huge hole in our roof of our village home…

U.S. Intelligence: China Opposes Trump Reelection; Russia Works Against Biden : NPR

Seriously folks, the only issue that is true is that America is being destroyed from within. No one one the outside of the US borders gives a crap. Who the hell wants chaos as your neighbor? Or better yet, playing in the sandbox with you…

The top counterintelligence official in the U.S. government warned Friday of ongoing interference and influence efforts by China, Russia and Iran.William Evanina, who leads the National Counterintelligence and Security Center, said that the U.S. government has assessed that China prefers President Trump losing the election, because Beijing considers him “unpredictable,” while Russia is working to undermine Democrat Joe Biden.” Ahead of the 2020 U.S. elections, foreign states will continue to use covert and overt influence measures in their attempts to sway U.S. voters’ preferences and perspectives, shift U.S. policies, increase discord in the United States, and undermine the American people’s confidence in our democratic process,” Evanina said.

Oh and NPR is so bought and paid for by the USA and very controlled propaganda….don’t ever forget that while NPR has some private funding, it is also and was set up to be funded by your tax money and or public funding. The private funding is channeled public funds to keep the NPR going. Mass Media in the west is basically only and all funded in some way by the public…

Enjoy your lies while you can…

The Russian State Duma Commission commented on the report of the US Department of State on ”Russian propaganda“

Actually it is about time that Russia starts to push back against the propaganda from the USA….yes, it is the US who is playing the games!

”The US State Department said they would “continue to counter Russia’s disinformation. ” I can only say one thing: we will continue to unmask their real disinformation and fakes, because we, unlike the US State Department, rely on the facts of interference in the internal affairs of our country that the Commission on Foreign Interference had revealed,“ he said. Vasilii Piskarev recalled that, in particular, ” the Commission revealed false information in publications of the regional projects of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Sever.Realities and Crimea. Realities, funded from the US budget, containing fakes about euthanasia carried out for coronavirus patients in Russian hospitals. “ Materials on these publications were sent to the competent authorities.” Unlike the report of the US Department of State, which does not contain real facts, only speculation and attempts to impose their point of view, such publications can be considered as real attempt to misinform and spread panic among Russian citizens. We will continue to monitor, analyze and take all the relevant measures provided by the law to counteract the US attempts to influence Russia,“  stressed Vasilii Piskarev.

Just been too busy in TRV…

I suspected that we had an otter at the small pond near the big lake. Years ago Boza and I found signs of him and finally after all these years, I got a few blurry images of him…

Well I already walked, cut apples to dry and watered the potatoes. Also watered the plants. Hope it rains today…

Have a nice day…

World’s First Anti-COVID Vaccine to be Registered in Russia Next Week

This should upset the apple cart of the western world…

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko earlier said that mass vaccination in Russia is expected to kick off in October. According to the minister, all expenses will be covered from the state budget. Russia will register its first vaccine against the coronavirus on 12 August, Deputy Health Minister Oleg Gridnev said Friday. ” At the moment, the last, third, stage is underway. The trials are extremely important. We have to understand that the vaccine must be safe. Medical professionals and senior citizens will be the first to get vaccinated,” Gridnev told reporters at the opening of a cancer centre building in the city of Ufa.According to the minister, the effectiveness of the vaccine will be judged when the population has developed an immunity. The vaccine has been developed jointly by the Gamaleya Research Institute and the Russian Defence Ministry.

Each outbuilding like Christmas… TRV

In TRV I have been cleaning the outbuildings. It is amazing how much stuff someone accumulates over many years. Nikolai who owned the home before us had many years to collect and work on things. My collection of tools and supplies has grown to vast proportions and many things such as nails and screws, I will never have to buy replacements…

Therefore, I have been quiet on the blog. For I have been tearing everything from inside an outbuilding and organizing the stuff. From file thirteen to finding a better place to put it. I have been busy…

I now have one main storage building, a main workshop, a usable barn and a auto workshop area. It has not been easy and I am still not done. Yet the light is at the end of the tunnel and it is nice to see that light. Every building opened up and emptied is like opening Christmas presents. Surprise surprise surprise…

Things such as a twelve ton bottle jack, a unbelievable thirty kilo sledge hammer (Try swinging that behemoth!), new windows, new doors, giant buckets of nails and screws to heavy to lift almost, hand tools galore and steel cables of all varieties. That just scratches the surface of what I have been finding…

I have repaired walls and floors as I work and when I put things back in their new home, I organize. I have well worn paths from one building to the other buildings as I move items during the organization. For a few days, I had a huge pile of stuff in the front yard. It all had to be moved after taking the trash away, to the side yard to storage. Windows, doors, bikes and chairs…

My main presents that I am dwelling on are Soviet tools. The quality of these tools are fantastic. Files, hammers, chisels and wrenches. All very old, very Soviet and everything is marked with a Soviet stamping into the metals. I use what I find and find most tools are still very serviceable and it makes me smile…

Made to hand down for generations comes to mind, as I open my gifts and act like a child at Christmas…

I have also been cutting apples and drying them. It is that time of the year and now we will have apples for the winter…

How come I am always in the Tiny Russian Village cutting apples? 😉

I have been following the stupidity of main stream news and found it so stupid that I even decided to clean out sheds. Now how bad is that?

Beirut accident is a bad thing to have happened. Don’t listen to the western news, look around and see what happened for yourself. The west is playing the Oklahoma bombing angle comparison… Why?

Very sad and stored Ammonium nitrate and things like grain storage bins also, can be one hell of an explosion. Like a big big bad boom…

Life can be cut short at anytime and may Beirut get it all under control and settled back down…

Gotta go and get one more coffee….then cut apples, water the plants and start carrying more stuff around the yard. Have a nice day!

WtR

I wake in Russia within the TRV (Tiny Russian Village)…

That coffee is great this morning. Good morning sunshine…

Waking up gets much harder when you get older. Sometimes you simply say, “Wow, I made another day! Time to do one more day and then we will decide if tomorrow will happen…”

I am thankful for Russia and the TRV….it heals me, yet somethings just will not heal no matter what. Pain is a reminder of those issues…

Pain has been a constant companion in my life for most of it….as far as I can remember. It started when very young and I almost paralyzed myself permanently on a trampoline and never stopped. A hundred broken bones, been stabbed twice, shot once and what has had to be a thousand stitches later….I am still alive…

But, one thing that has been consistent, is pain…

It tells me that I am still alive and if I can complain, I can get many things done at the same time. Pain is all in the mind and when you let your guard down, that is when it round houses you and gets you down…

I know people that just do not know what pain is about? Either they lie or are the luckiest people on earth, as I nurse a headache from hell, even this morning as I get up. Even the weather wants a piece of me as it tells me that it is changing 24 hours in advance…

If I was my dad? I would be dead already! He decided that the pain was too much and I remember when he died at fifty years old. He could not take the pain. yet my grandpa Stroud lived with pain and endured until 83 years old. Grandpa Keeton was the same. I am glad that I take after them…

Pain wakes me up every morning and says, “Hello!”

But, I very rarely take any pain killers. That is the life I do not want. I have dealt with happy pills, doctor prescribed in the USA and never again will I become reliant upon drugs to band aid issues…

I use pain:

I use it to motivate me and use it to realize that life is precious. I am now dealing with a hernia and it has created in me a sense of how to do things differently…

My wheelbarrow is my best friend….I use to lug things around, because I was so strong that even engine blocks where an easy thing to move. Yet, pain and age have shown me that life can be accomplished in many different way…

When I get back to Moscow, I will have to deal with some issues and one of these issues is a hernia. I have to get it under control, before it gets, well, out of control….therefore, I am very smart about what I do as I am doing it and think before I leap. Good thinking, except I should have been doing that when young…

Speaking of pain. It is telling me that I sat too long writing this post and need to go walk and get some things done around the yard. Mr. Arthritis is in a very bad mood this morning and he is trying to tell me that it is better to goof off today. I know better and tell him to go, “Suck an egg”! …
