Salvage my Wileyfox Smartphone, but it is dead as a company…

STK bought out the Wileyfox company, which was in bankruptcy, due to EU sanctions. These sanctions destroyed a very good British company and now STK has proven itself to be trash. The last Oreo Android update that I installed fried the phone. The phone was all stock and running excellent at the time of the update…

I decided to try the update that STK pushed out and found myself with a bricked phone. I am not alone in this issue and Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus has fallen to the wayside of advancement. In fact if you do not install a custom ROM, you will ultimately end up with a bricked phone. I truly think that STK did this on purpose, that is how it feels..

I only was able to salvage the phone by a complete ROM wipe and repartition of the ROM. I lost 2.4 Gigs of the ROM, due to total corruption by the updated firmware. The firmware came straight from STK themselves…

I know what I am talking about and this issue has taken weeks to solve. The phone, minus a few Gigs of blocked away ROM is working perfect again and has the original Cyanogenmod firmware installed. The phone was fantastic with original firmware and went downhill after Cyanogenmod failed as a company….and the icing on the cake was when the EU shut down the Russian money source for Wileyfox and put Wileyfox into bankruptcy…

It is a sad state of normality in our world…

1. Good company + Good software = Great cheap phone.
2. Software fails due to internal issues and personal crap + Sanctions (illegal) destroyed finances of good company = Collapsing company that had potential.
3. Trash company (with lots of money from grey area sources) buys out failing company and you have garbage as the end result…

It is the normal: Good struggles and bad seems to flourish…

People gonna learn not to park on our crosswalks…

The crosswalk is to the right of the image. The car on the truck being taken away was parked smack in and blocking the crosswalk. The city has been for two weeks hauling cars away that park upon a crosswalk that has thousands and thousands of people a day walking across it. This is one busy crosswalk after all us humans wake up…

I have been griping for years about idiots that block our walk way. Looks like the city has woke up finally….to make matters worse, there is school farther to the right of the image and it is huge. I have seen people park and block the front entrance to the school with their cars. They could not get the gate open of the school…

Duh! Dumb people everywhere…

This morning no cars parked on the crosswalk… 😉

Get your long underwear out…

The sun is entering one of the deepest Solar Minima of the Space Age. Sunspots have been absent for most of 2018, and the sun’s ultraviolet output has sharply dropped. New research shows that Earth’s upper atmosphere is responding. “We see a cooling trend,” says Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center. “High above Earth’s surface, near the edge of space, our atmosphere is losing heat energy. If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold.”

I think this could be a touch of truth and we need to keep an eye on the repercussions of the natural happening that is occurring…

Damn, it is cold enough here in Moscow to freeze a witch’s titty, much less getting colder…

The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity : President Trump’s Iran Policy – Is It ‘Normal’?

It’s not often that US Government officials are honest when they talk about our foreign policy. The unprovoked 2003 attack on Iraq was called a “liberation.” The 2011 US-led destruction of Libya was a “humanitarian intervention.” And so on.So, in a way, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was refreshingly honest last week when, speaking about newly-imposed US sanctions, he told the BBC that the Iranian leadership “has to make a decision that they want their people to eat.” It was an honest admission that new US sanctions are designed to starve Iranians unless the Iranian leadership accepts US demands. His statement also reveals the lengths to which the neocons are willing to go to get their “regime change” in Iran. Just like then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said it was “worth it” that half a million Iraqi children died because of our sanctions on that country, Pompeo is letting us know that a few million dead Iranians is also “worth it” if the government in Tehran can be overthrown.

Amen to that…

Rock the Vote – Kunstler

It warmed my heart to read in The Wall Street Journal that Hillary Clinton is preparing to re-enter the Washington DC swamp from her deluxe exile in the woods of Chappaqua, New York, and make another run for the White House — though it’s hard to calculate how many porters in sandals and loincloths will be required to lug all her baggage around the campaign trail. Will hubbie hit the hustings with her? That would be rich. I can just imagine the pussy-hatted legions shrieking #MeToo at every stop. Surely there is no better way to put the Democratic Party out of its misery.
